Access to Root Sports is the worst tv access to a team I've seen in 60 years as an avid sports fan. For the past 25 plus years, I've enjoyed having the Mariners on in my home almost every night when FSNW and then Root were available on most cable and satellite services. Now, as far as I can tell, you can't get them on Dish, DirectTV, or on many cable providers. I have Dish, and I haven't yet found a provider in my area that has it so I can switch. Their website is a confusing mess of "streaming" opportunities, etc. I have chosen to go with Fubo, which is the worst tv product I've ever seen. First, it's been a major undertaking to get it on my tv every time I want to watch it. Then, the picture seems to go in and out of standard and high definition. Lastly, the picture often devolves into a blank "buffering" screen. At that point, I usually just give up and tune in the Dodgers or Angels, whichever one happens to be on MLB network. All I can say is I'm very disappointed that the Mariners care so little about their fans across the NW to make access to their tv product (I believe their broadcast team and production are first-rate) more easily available. I've been a Mariner fan since the start, but with this mess I find I'm becoming more of an Angels fan. Hopefully, more fans will speak out and this mess will get corrected soon.
