When the add for wordless comes up, it freezes my game. I cannot X out or anything. All other ads I can X out. Frustrating

After ad to resume game a black screen appears and I cannot get back to the game. I have to close game and reopen and more often than not this does not always work. I then must reset my iPad to enable play. Then it does the same again. There must be a resolution to this.
