Whatever you do get the free trial, I paid for a year and regretted it after the first day. I expected a few words throughout the day, instead I get bombarded with useless sentences all day.

I’m not cheap and I pay for a lot of apps that are legitimately useful but VocApp costing money is just ridiculous. It’s a cute idea but you’re never going to attain even a basic level of conversational language getting just a few notifications with new phrases a day. Also, the only Spanish offered is castellano which is literally useless outside of Europe. The vast majority of 600+ million Spanish speakers worldwide speak Latin American Spanish so VocApp is even more useless.

Too many random notifications

I cancelled my subscription after 2 days of the 3-day "free trial," but they just charged me $24 for a one year subscription! THE SUBSCRIPTION WAS CANCELLED!!!

Do NOT download this annoying app and leave yourself in a position where you have to spend your time trying to get your money back that they never should've taken in the first place.

VocApp seems cool and all, but it costs money??!!? like hello? There are so many apps like duolingo that are free and this is money for like only one word a day, disappointed….

Downloaded and installed VocApp yo give it a try. I can’t remove it now. It messages me constantly despite setting the settings to not. It’s impossible to remove.

Mexican Spanish is more commonly used in North America so if you’re looking to learn a more applicable form of Spanish, download a different app.

I was looking forward to using VocApp but after choosing my skill level the screen just says “oops! Payments unavailable.” & won’t go away. It’s useless for me since I can’t do a thing.

The voice is too robotic to actually be able to learn how to pronounce certain phrases the correct way

VocApp is pretty useless. I was under the assumption that you would get your notifications in another languages.

VocApp has not been helpful to me. I know basic sentence structure and many words and phrases. I don’t remember the new words I see on VocApp every day. The sentence examples for these vocab words include more words I don’t understand which leaves me with more questions than answers. VocApp isn’t useful for me unfortunately I already paid. It’s more for expanding your vocabulary if you are already fluent.

Why does the lady sound like she is talking in slow motion ? I cancelled for that reason. So annoying. Other than that I had planned on keeping it.

I wanted to brush up on my Spanish however VocApp teaches you Spanish from Spain not from Mexico which is very different. Ended my free trial.

The concept is great but it could be better executed.

Allow for more options :

Number of notifications.
Certain vocabulary based on category.
Dual language.

Many of the phrases are generally negative or unhappy. “The man was very short 😫” and similar. Just very mocking.

Is there a way to get more than one word a day? Like a word every 2 hours

$5/month just to get a text message. Kind of ridiculous.

It would be great if it worked properly. It won’t let me change to beginner. It sends advanced Spanish and I can’t read it.

I love the concept of VocApp, but there should be Spanish from other regions of the world (ex: México). Spanish spoken in México is the most translatable to other regions of the Americas. Spanish spoken in Spain does not convert me as a customer/user. For example, American English is in more demand in Asian countries than British English or Australian English Please consider.

To start, What does it matter that the accent is based in Spain? Can’t y’all just be grateful that VocApp works and is STILL in development? You’re still learning the same romance language. Add some variety to your language learning! Don’t always choose an accent based off what others do, be yourselves.

Para empezar, ¿Por qué os importa mucho que el acento está basado en el castellano de España? ¿No podéis agradecer que funcione la aplicación y que TODAVÍA está en desarrollo? ¡Todavía estáis aprendiendo la misma lengua romance! ¡Qué añadáis alguna variedad a vuestro aprendizaje de idiomas!
