My Walmart Schedule Reviews

OH. MY. GOD. MyWalmartSchedule has taken FOREVER to load since I had to start using it. The interface is friendly and I like the way they set up the schedules better than the Walmart One app. At first, MyWalmartSchedule was fine and it was loading okay — it was just glitchy and weird since you had to make an account separate to your WIRE account and then link them, but I still could take screenshots and check every Friday what days I’d be working.
The last update started up okay. Y’all fixed the above issue and set up the thumbprint password, which was amazing! Issue is, it took like a minute or two to load.
Now, ITS NOT EVEN LOADING. HELP. IVE GOT AN SAT TO TAKE AND I NEED TO SEE IF I’m WORKING THAT DAY. PLEASE.
AND PLEASE, get some programmers that actually CARE about the end work. As a self taught programmer myself I know it’s hard to make things work without it getting ugly and messy, but just try to work a way around it! Get a different set of programmers if the ones rn aren’t good enough! There’s a lot of talented people out there that would love to have a chance, you know?

At one point I was able to add open shifts, but now it always says there are none when on the Wire there are at least 10 a day I can add and 20 more available with manager approval. I have to sign on with full user id and password instead of my pin that I can use for WalmartOne and WalmartPay. All in all, this is a mess and not helpful. I have a new iPhone and have the latest version of MyWalmartSchedule . What is going on?! Also, I tried MyWalmartSchedule support function and it said that page did not exist. What a disaster. If anyone that works on MyWalmartSchedule reads this, please send help or an actual working phone number to call for help. Thanks. I see that the Developer Responses are the same canned message every time. That isn’t at all helpful because what the canned message says doesn’t work and doesn’t even apply to 99% of the problems. Someone please fix this mess. This is our daily hassle and it is tiring!

So for whatever reason I’m unable to check my schedule now because there’s a new 2-step verification...? What the hell?! First you force us to download MyWalmartSchedule because you remove the schedule from WalmartOne, now MyWalmartSchedule is basically useless unless you go into a Walmart store and do some 2-step verification stuff. WalmartOne literally had everything... schedule, paystub, report an absence, etc. Im not understanding why you guys are so insistent on making things harder for your employees. Attention Walmart, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it!!! Thank god I took screenshots of my schedule before you guys made this change, otherwise I’d be screwed. Some type of warning would’ve been nice. Not changing anything would’ve been nicer. Disappointed.

I don’t understand why we have multiple apps for employees. It’s a waste of storage space on my phone as well as time to update them. Some may agree with the two-step authentication. However; I think it’s more annoying than anything. Especially when we are able to change our password to login instead of having it be the hired in date. I feel as if someone else gets access to your account that’s on the individual for not changing their password, not making a difficult password, and not being cautious when logging out of all pages. Just a lot of extra steps and apps that I feel are extremely unnecessary as well as extremely annoying.

MyWalmartSchedule is completely useless. I haven’t been able to log onto MyWalmartSchedule to look at my schedule since April 7th. Instead when I log in it gives me this wonderful “The Operation Couldn’t Be Completed (NSURPLEErrorDomain)” message. And at the bottom tells me to log in again! Try again and it brings up this message. So I try to go on WalmartOne to view my schedule, lo and behold, the schedule is gone and is replaced by a text that says: My Walmart Schedule.
Thank god for screenshots. I haven’t been able to view my schedule on my iPhone 10 for almost two weeks now. And some of us don’t have access to a computer and internet. FIX THIS.

As much as Walmart begs for surveys from our customers and value their feedback to improve the experience. They never listen to the associates when it come these surveys. Everyone on here complains about how MyWalmartSchedule never works and the surveys go back at least a year+. I’m glad our billion dollar company can’t put a few thousands back to make a proper app that lets you log in to check a simple schedule. Useless app. I understand we can check at work but we all forget and it’s hard to know when to come in when MyWalmartSchedule won’t even recognize your login without being on a stores wifi.

MyWalmartSchedule is a huge thorn in the side. Half of the time log in doesn’t work. For the longest time, my schedule wasn’t even posted (only approved days off) and I had to use the One app anyway. Then I had a scheduled shift disappear 2 days before I was supposed to work it. Then a new shift appeared for the work week we were already in. Thankfully I was checking my schedule repeatedly and caught it. Otherwise, we all know who would have been at fault. In MyWalmartSchedule there are rarely “open shifts”. In One there were a dozen or more most days. WM makes billions of dollars and they can’t manage to develop an app that actually works as it should?

It’s really frustrating when you are relying on MyWalmartSchedule to check your schedule for it to not allow you to login. So instead I go to OneWalmart (Walmartone?) to check it there (I’ve already done the 2step verification) only to have it tell me “sorry your schedule was lost while loading” I also deleted and reinstalled MyWalmartSchedule since were told to do that at work when it craps out. I wish whoever was in charge of MyWalmartSchedule designing would combine everything into one and make a decent app. This company makes too much money to be skimping on its apps for its associates.

I don’t understand why the scheduling change could not have been made to the existing WM1 app. It’s not like not we can get rid of the other app because the new one is out, there is still vital information we get from WM1. Plus WM1 has a website for PC and this new one does not. I like printing out my schedule on the month calendar so added bonus I have a calendar to post.
I can’t even get this new app to log me in. I tried the same log in as WM1 and it says error and just loops back to log in screen. I tried “forgot user name” and it says error then loops back to the same screen.

MyWalmartSchedule is literally the worst. When I started working for Walmart I could easily sign on but then it switched to me having to use my wire login and password, which by the way is very annoying. Now when I try to log on it directs me to the wire log on and once I log in loads right back to the log in screen and says “connection timed out waiting for reply.” Wal-Mart needs to switch to a more convenient scheduling system such as hot schedules which allows everyone to see all the employees schedules, allows you to drop or switch shifts with ease and communicate with everyone better. If not PLEASE redesign this crappy app it’s useless!!!

Walmart needs to fix their apps. Alright so I tried it out today and apparently I’m not scheduled for this week or next week despite the fact when I go on the wire it shows my shifts. So unless my manager decided that full time associates don’t work for an entire week, I’m just not going to use it until this gets fixed. Why not just let us use the Walmart One website since I can’t even use that app either? Don’t fix what isn’t broken, but MyWalmartSchedule needs fixing.

Anyway, I’m going by what the wire says, and I suggest every other associate do that as well. The only reason it got 2 stars is because I was able to get on it unlike the Walmart One app, where I couldn’t get past registration.

MyWalmartSchedule is pointless now. I used to use it CONSTANTLY to check my schedule, and it was very useful, but now that I can't login without having to do that 2 link verification, or whatever it is called, MyWalmartSchedule is basically uneeded garbage on my phone. I liked being able to check what time I work next week in the comfort of my home rather than having to go all the way to the store on my days off or trying to find a time I can go to the computers while Im on the clock jsut to check my shifts. Very annoying.

So the training coordinator said MyWalmartSchedule would be down for some “updates” and would be back up the next day. It’s been a week and I still can’t view my schedule without it telling me to do a 2 step verification. Then I asked if it’s the same with everyone else and I noticed that the managers have access again but not the other associates? It’s ridiculous and confusing. Good thing I took pictures of my schedule or I’d get more than 5 occurrences for absences.

As a ongoing Walmart employee, I know that it’s hard to have time at work to go log on Walmart Onewire when your days really busy. So it would be nice to have access to it from somewhere else other than a in store computer. I would like to be able to check my paystub, ask for time off, see my schedule and recent changes or alterations in policy directly from MyWalmartSchedule. And two step verification was way more than two steps to set-up and didn’t make it any safer or easier to log in to see my schedule from home. I like that I can see my schedule but it was A.) hard to get working and B.) does absolutely nothing else. I wish MyWalmartSchedule had a revamp, thank you.

To be honest, it’s great to have an app that just show only your schedule and nothing additional. However!! I understand that Walmart is still trying to improve MyWalmartSchedule , it is very frustrating that I am unable to add any additional shift into my schedule. What’s the point of showing all the “unfill shift” when it doesn’t have the option to allow you add additional shift.
