I join SmartPiano because, of course, I got the piano that goes with it. I have never even known that SmartPiano existed and yet when I sign in, it says this user already exists. I don’t understand because in the year and a half I’ve had this email I not once signed up for this. So I thought, maybe I should try another email. I tried another, and it says that my user was taken yet again. I hope this is a bug and it gets fixed. I’m 100% sure that I have never, ever used this once in my life. Please look into this.

Got SmartPiano after the piano came in and it’s terrible, it wouldn’t let me register or create an account! Kept telling me I was having server issues 🤦🏻‍♀️ yet I was able to scroll through insta and other things that REQUIRE SERVICE! The only the that refuses to work, I installed and uninstalled, I restarted and shut off my phone. Allllll things that was completely unnecessary cuz it wasn’t my phone it was the stupid app!.

I’ve used SmartPiano for years with no problem, but it stopped working a few months ago. Like other users have mentioned in their review, the problem happens in the login screen. When trying to login, I get an error message saying “The data cannot be read because it isn’t in the correct format.”

Resetting my password does not fix the problem. I have purchased several songs through SmartPiano and am now locked out of those purchases due to SmartPiano glitch. The developers need to fix this ASAP, but based on SmartPiano version history, they only make basic updates about once a year.

I would have given SmartPiano 5 stars if it was still working! I bought this a couple of years back and since I’ve been moving around the last couple of years I’m just now settled enough that I plugged the thing back in to start practicing again like I used to with SmartPiano. But oh! To my surprise! I can’t even log in! I’ve sunk money into a lot of songs in SmartPiano also and it just seems like I got one over on me. I even tried to update my password twice! Now it keeps telling me I can’t login because it’s not the right format! This is ridiculous and I would love if this were to get fixed!

If you’re buying this piano and plan to use SmartPiano with an iPad/tablet, BEWARE!! App is glitchy and while it initially worked fine, piano no longer connects to the iPad/app. Took us 2 months to get a replacement cable which still didn’t solve the problem. Customer service is awful and there is very little social media presence which is a red flag. Just get a regular piano because that’s the only way we can use this “smart” piano.

I have SmartPiano for a year, and decided to redownload it again. Just like all the other reviews say, the login just simply stops working! It made me create a new email, but every single time I did, it would say “entered the wrong format.” It makes no sense, I tried with 4 different emails, including the one I previously used, reset my password twice, created a new account on the website, and nothing works. SmartPiano used to be very useful, but now it needs some major fixing with the logins. I’m basically locked out, and can’t do anything!

This really stinks. SmartPiano locked me out & I had to create a new account with a new email. Now I don’t have access to the music I bought or the ones I had placed in my Favorites list. And yet SmartPiano remembers the searches I had done before. This is suspiciously like a scam. To make matters worse, the email that I got confirming my account (once I signed up again) was in Chinese characters and I had to copy it and run it through a translator just to see what it said. So hokey. I won’t be purchasing anything else from this company or wasting any more money on music downloads. Very disappointed!

SmartPiano simply doesn't work. It is garbage and has zero utility whatsoever. It's not even worth writing a review for but the hardware is overpriced. If you are considering buying this product because the reviews are good just know that they are all fake. There are no real reviews or very few. The games don't work, the piano doesn't connect properly to the ipad. I really regret buying this device and will switch to a competitive product soon. Looking for suggestions and alternatives now.

I recently upgraded to iPhone 15 and upgraded our iPad that both use USB-C connector. I bought a mini HD connecting cable to USB-C connector for the phone and iPad and the piano will not recognize either device. Very frustrating to spend so much on a piano and spend so much money on downloading sheet music to not be able to use it within SmartPiano . Please fix this issue so that I can use my very expensive piano again.

No jazz. No blues. No Latin music. Hit or miss range of classical music. Most of the songs require 88 keys and there is no easy work around. I do appreciate the songs that come with SmartPiano but I wish there was at lease SOMETHING for jazz. Scott Joplin isn’t even jazz. I understand there are copyright issues. How do other apps handle this. Btw I don’t mind spending a few bucks for a song book. Not going to spend bank for each track for early to mid 20th century music.

SmartPiano and piano integration is pretty cool. Lights up where to play and for a several year relatively experienced piano player, pretty neat. Kids seem to take to it too.

Hardware and sound is fine. Maybe 90-95% similar piano keyboards.

There’s a small library of music in SmartPiano which works - it’s fine but only the music it has is what you can use.

No way to important MIDI or scored files to have it displayed.

What’s worse - tried to purchase more music since you need their app to drive the piano. Purchases don’t work which is similar to what other users have commented on.

I’ve tried to buy music after having SmartPiano for a few months. In the past months, I’ve done it successfully until about a month ago. I tried and it says, failed. I tried to erase my app and download it again and it still didn’t work. I also had my husband try to create an account and buy music and that didn’t work. We tried to download different songs, so it wasn’t the song. We have money in the account, so it’s not like it’s that kind of issue either. It seems like it’s SmartPiano which is really sad because I loved being able to buy and play a different song here and there. Now I have to play the same 6 songs that I bought when SmartPiano was working.

My 9 year old is pretty happy with SmartPiano , he already knew how to play a little before he started using it. My biggest issue is it’s very buggy when you try to buy songs, it says I bought one but I can’t see it. The website says you can contact them for support, but you can’t do that without creating an account and that process didn’t work so I have no recourse to find the song I bought.

This would have been five stars if there was more free songs, and more in general in SmartPiano. I am a beginner, but some on the “level 1” music is still hard for me. Please try to fix these things.

This is such a great app and goes spectacular with the product! I’ve learned leaps and bounds but the library selection is a little limited. They have a great free classical selection but are missing a lot of other essentials. Would love some Studio Ghibli scores and smooth jazz!

I really love the piano by itself and SmartPiano is great and teaches you song easy. The only only problem with it is it has too many songs I don't know and not enough of the more popular songs. They still have a good variety though. They should look at the songs in piano tiles.

We need more songs on crash course... I only have like 10 songs and the sheet music version is not better than the crash course...either give us more songs or allow songs that we buy sheet music for be available in crash course at the time of purchase.

I love SmartPiano so so much, it helps me play piano a lot! I feel better about playing piano now, like I can play complicated songs without stress!
I definitely would suggest SmartPiano!

I love SmartPiano since it helps me learn songs easily. It helps me a lot with pieces from my piano class. One thing that I think needs to improve are the free pieces. There is probably a decent amount of free pieces that I haven’t seen yet, and too me it seems like there isn’t much free pieces. So maybe make a album for free pieces that way it’s easier to find free music. Also I would like a feature where there’s a piano on the device and it shows what you keys you play. (Like the one in the games.) Overall, this is a really good app and I would recommend it. 👍❤️😊

I’m a total beginner. So far i have learned the first part of a few songs, (you have to purchase the rest of it) & have learned a lot. The Hoffman tutorials are great, but some of them do not load. I am really disappointed that fingering notifications do not work on the sheet music i purchased. The option to turn on the notification is there & only works on the very first note, then nothing.... absolutely nothing. The lights jumping all over the keys are overwhelming when you don’t know what the hand/finger placement is supposed to be. This seems like an app issue/failure. Hope it is fixed soon.
Other than that, I really love my keyboard & learning how to play w/ SmartPiano is pretty easy.
I have a few other small issues i will try to contact them about. Hope they have great customer service... Will let. You know:)
