I downloaded this game about 2 weeks ago. Usually when I download a new game I start with the $1.99 packs to get ahead and make the game more enjoyable. First time playing this game btw. I got three quite a few auctions and things were going great until the glitching started. It happened during the end of the auctions where you see the value of the items that are in the unit. It freezes until you have no other option then to exit and lose everything you’ve won in the unit. First disappointment….. I then tried to figure a way around the glitch, mind you I was winning all 3 units. So what I did next worked for about 3 auctions then it didn’t. What I did was let one of the units be bought by another bidder and that way it had no choice but to let me collect my items to move on to let the other bidder collect their items. Again only worked for a few units. So then what I did was let the 1st unit be bought by another bidder so that bidder would collect their items at the very end. Worked for a while until it didn’t. Now I’m at the point that I don’t even play the game anymore because every time I go to an auction I end of losing everything. It won’t even let the other bidder collect their items, it just freezes and forces you to exit. Very disappointed being my first time downloading this game.

Just reached a main quest that I cannot pass without actually paying money to complete. It’s a casino quest, spin the wheel 2 times and the slot 4 times. The slot was already expensive, as the lowest bet was 15 gold bars per spin, but I had been saving them and watching all the free ad videos I could. However, on the wheel, I was only able to buy one spin with gold bars. I cannot get a second spin without paying $2.99, so now the game will be deleted because I’m not paying for it. Offering OPTIONAL upgrades is fine for people who want to pay, but for those of us that can’t, it shouldn’t be in the main story. Very sad too, I was enjoying a free game where my only competition was myself. Well, onto the next app.

Edit: I downloaded and started over just to ensure that I had never used an extra spin before a quest came up, and I did not. Now I’m stuck on the same quest number again, because ironically, the slot spinner requirement is now only 1 spin! But the problem was always the wheel of fortune, and it is still a problem. I’m not paying $2.99 for a spin on principle because I have to or I’m stuck in no man’s land. I MIGHT at least consider it if the prizes were better, but it’s so not worth it! Time to get rid of this again.

I was really enjoying the game and having a lot of fun. Thought the bidding and selling was super fun because I love watching pawn shows and going to pawn shops in real life. I was super disappointed when my game crashed so I closed out BidWars2 and even restarted my phone just to make sure it ran smoothly (at least for the duration I was gonna play it for). I got back onto BidWars2 after unlocking the car shop and this daily deal keeps popping up on screen keeping it frozen. When I eventually get the pop up to go away, I go to an auction and the pop up for the free “booster” prevents me from bidding on the storage. It doesn’t matter which destination I choose, I’m stuck on that pop up screen. I can’t exit it and I can’t watch the ad, I can’t even click off the screen to force close it like a lot of apps let you do. The only reason I’m not rating it one stars is because even though I made it to level 7 before these issues started, I was genuinely enjoying the game. If this issue gets fixed, I’ll gladly redownload it and play again.

I enjoy the game and I don’t mind watching the ads but I wish it didn’t take so long to get an appraisal on items. Instead of using gold bars to upgrade your car or add more shelves I wish I there was an option to use game cash. I have over $2 million in game cash but can’t use it on anything but buying items from customers or bid on storage units. Also, I wish there was an actual price of on an item that the customer brings in. Maybe make it where you can buy a new building for storage, buy apartment buildings, and other areas around the shop. The story line just stopped and said that more is coming but nothing has come since January. I wish there were different items instead of the same items over and over again. The rare items are coming more frequently. Instead of the same cars in the regular storage lockers put different ones in. Make the prices more reasonable and more like todays value instead of cheap prices. Let us buy more property and put those up to rent as well.

The game is very good but it needs more options better things to evaluate and more value for them but I think it’s a cool game it needs more things of value to auction better cars better places better gold money jewelry etc. I almost forgot there’s a couple of times I’ve played in this took in my gold it goes out sometimes and then I have to reopen the game again but sometimes I open or I get done with something and it takes me out of the whole game I get it is glitches but I don’t give me my money back or my Gold thank you yes the auctions need to have better things so you can auction off get more money like autographed baseball cards and jackets from famous people are me better guns better weapons better cars but it’s all good I still like the game even though it freezes and sometimes like I said before when you’re ordering stuff for it it takes your money or your goal and then you have to reopen the recloser and reopen it again in the stuff freezing but besides that it’s still good takes your gold

So first you should know that the bidding for storage units and people wishing to sell in your pawn shop is completely arbitrary from what i can tell, as in there is a number generated randomly either above or below the real value that is held by the bidders and sellers. So youll have times in the game where enemies blow 3k for a $1k unit with no consequences, meanwhile you can do the same thinking theres a hidden valuable item. But the trick is no matter what you bid theres a limit of 6 items to bring home unless you grind missions and get farmed for advertisements for slightly better takeaway. After this you can list a maximum of 6 items in your shop(unless you give $ which will get you anything even things youd never want) for sale which can take a very long time for terrible to amazing returns. Theres also this system of rental properties you can buy which i guess is supposed to make it seem like youre building up but theyre useless and a waste of time, they neither collect enough money to justify buying nor are they priced anywhere close to reasonable, but youre allowed to watch ads for 2x collection which is still dogwater. If you would like to blow some time because you have absolutely nothing to do this is the perfect game for you, especially if youd like to spend money while doing so.

I am now lvl 22 and it's very fun, I have every single building / rental unlocked. BUT getting through the game (bidding, selling items, earning gold bars, inspecting items, earring rent x2, etc.) is almost IMPOSSIBLE without spending ur own $ just to get around the adds. The game is getting very boring and I could see myself finding a new game to play daily because of the adds and I'd rather not spend my own $ just to get rid of them. I wish we could use the money we've earned selling items in the game to unlock some kind of monthly pass to get rid of adds, maybe unlock new special actions with exclusive items, more shelf space and car load space. Also wish we could unlock more buildings that could build up our "empire" more & making the town overall bigger, + more places to visit. Also just in general wish we could unlock more new auction locations with more new rare items as our lvls increase.

The game is a mix of excited minutes of bidding and boring hours of waiting for stuff to sell. The ads are horrible and constantly need to be watched to advance. For every 5 minutes of play, plan on spending 5 minutes watching videos. Even when you spend real money, which is suppose reduce non-reward ads, you’re stuck watching multiple ads. I get very frustrated with the game as it’s hard to progress even with watching 8-10 ads every other minute. Added: just took away a star. Gaming is ‘glitching’ and locking up. Took some of my coins away. Restore purchases did nothing. There is no contact info in settings to submit a help ticket I tested posting the problem in the Facebook app, weeks later and still having the same issue. Seriously thinking of deleting the game.

The game is so good. I didn’t expect it to be much more than just a point, and click time waster, but it is so much more than that. I love that you can actually progressively extend your business and have real challenges and surprises. It was unexpectedly addictive and interesting.

Which, of course, means that it cost a fortune in the end. It takes no time at all for you to need heaps of gold, and have very few ways to get enough to progress without buying some. You can slowly grind by watching ads, but three pieces of gold when you need forty is a lot of time wasting when all you want to be doing is playing the game.

I would spend a lot more time - and probably be more willing to actually spend money – if it didn’t get so expensive so quickly. I shouldn’t have to buy more gold by level five. I’d be a lot more content and willing to do so at level 15.

I’m enjoying the game but I feel that it’s a little time consuming to get the money together you need to move forward. The gold bars you need you have to watch a lot of ads and there’s not really any other options to get more like spinning the wheel or get rewards when you get the required things to advance to the next level. I don’t expect it to be so faced paced that you don’t really enjoy the earning of rewards and advancing ahead to next level but it just seems a little more tedious and the ads are a little overkill to enjoy the game to the full. I know this how you also make your money considering the game is free but if it didn’t have so many ads it may cause more people to play the game more because it’s more enjoyable without so many needs to watch an ad to advance forward because of lack of gold or money or the things you can use in the auctions.

For someone that actually works in the pawn industry, this has the buying and selling portion nailed down in term of fun wise, not fully accurate but enough to feel like your in a shop.

The main problems I do have with the game is the client counter and the video reduction/ads. To start off the client counter isn’t very accurate, you have no view of the objects actual price, and it’s hard to bargain with the client, as most of the time if they don’t make profit, they won’t sell it to you. Next, the video time reduction ads, after a certain period of time i’ve not had the opportunity to use them at all. And it’s not on my end, the game simply will not let me use them, the rent a safe, making good profit after a bid, reducing the waiting time on college reviews, I see no reason why it is taken away, as you guys make money off of it. So for me, it makes the game less desirable, as now I have to wait 1-8 hours just to play the game the way I want.

In finale the game is great, Id definitely recommend to a friend, but there are some things that need tweaking and have its flaws, but every game does. I look forward to the game expanding and continuing its success!

I’ve had fun playing this game. Managed to get all the way to level 15 with $100k and nearly a full run of rare items.

What I don’t like about the game is that I stopped getting missions from my original cell phone & only get missions from ppl at the college. Maybe I need to continue to see what happens once the college missions are complete, but I feel like I’m at a standstill. A college mission will say “know 2 facts about the brass comet” for example, but the game doesn’t hint where to get them. So I waste energy playing levels that won’t benefit me in finding the “mission” rare items I’m looking for. I’ve also rented 3 properties & opened Mutt’s shop. I’m waiting to buy another property at level 16, but I hope I more to look forward to than being able to rent another house & open a new auction. Game is becoming predictable.

It’s a good game, well thought out and fun to play… to a point. I’ve been playing for about a month now and am at Level 21. I can see that I’ve almost completed the game and can’t really see much point in carrying on. Money isn’t a problem now for the auctions and the only thing that is really interesting is collecting items from auctions that you have to pay gold for in order to build your library collection. It’s not a great incentive to shell out cash for if I’m honest.

I feel like, given the layout of the town with all the extra buildings, there should be more challenges, cleaning up the town, buying other businesses, etc. I’ve appreciated the gameplay whilst it’s been good, but now I’m at the end I’ll be finding something else to play

Just bought the casino and I got to pay 500 in game cash but then get in and pay 0.99 that dumb if I got to pay in game money to start it then have to pay real money to use it that dumb I want my 500 back like really dude and even if I watch a ad to get gold well guess what It is still paying just we ain’t paying you like cmon and something for free players to get dude and then new gamble spots pay to win to I ain’t even get to use special ones 1 time because you got to pay for gold bars then I just watched ad until it ain’t let me now I realize your just updating to get money not for our appreciation I am done with this game add a free special place that cost a lot of in game cash and ad a casino game that cost in game cash like come on the one that cost 0.99 cents could have been better if you also had the choice to pay in game cash and not just 0.99 cents because that probable worth about 1000 or 100 in game cash so do that or add one that just cost in game cash

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 months and honestly I like to play it to waste time the only problem I run into is I can only play 3 times before I have to wait for more times to play especially if you need that money you earn from playing to upgrade and stuff at first it was a little too easy and now it’s practically impossible to unlock new things and I don’t have the dedication to wait through ads and pay money to play like why make the cost 10 each game then only give 34 cost if not that then you pay 2-10 gold bars for special units that give okay prizes

If it wasn’t so hard to consistently play without spending money or waiting hours it would be an absolutely amazing game

Started playing the other Bid Wars game and stumbled across this game through one of the ads. I found this game to be more interesting and engaging than the other Bid Wars game because of the storyline and missions. I barely look at the other Bid Wars game now and find myself spending hours on this one. Disappointingly, around level 14 it kind of all comes to a halt. The couple missions available are nearly impossible to achieve and it seems like no matter how many times you win bids and sell items in the pawn shop, you don’t get any further. I am on level 15 now and not much has changed. I have amounted an enormous amount of cash but seem to have nothing to spend it on. Still playing hoping to get past this rut and hopefully start getting more missions before losing interest entirely.

Grown to really like the game and even have spent money on in game purchases but as many reviews say the same we wish there was more to do if you could really in large the game add more shops and places to unlock. And add more things to spend your money on, everything on the game only takes gold bars and you only receive money but you can’t really buy anything other than the apartments that are extremely overpriced for it to only give you $200 per house. I’d like to be able to spend my money on other shops or maybe being able to upgrade your pawn shop by it getting bigger or maybe adding an extra pawnshop you could buy and sell high end stuff, the best of the best.

Progress in this game is actually very fast, ads are only there to gain extras which is really nice… after a while money is not really a problem anymore, so you can focus on finding all those items for the library. Here it would be nice to have an indication after each auction which items you dont have yet (like the ‘New’ indicator you get after trading with Mutt). Also knowing when rent is die wouldnt make you let your tenants stayfor free that much;) Well, just some ideas to further improve. Oh yeah, the auctions are pretty random and it doesnt really matter how fast or agressive you bid. And one more important thing, dont spend your gold on speeding things up, you need it for the challenges

This game is one of if not THE best game on my phone. Its gets really hard further into the and i think that most mobile games now adays are too easy and never have a challenge that never too hard to pass. I personally don’t recommend making in-app purchases and especially not for this. But I just bought a really good pack so I can get more trunk space. I personally rate this game as a 9.7/10. And yes there are some boring bits and some ads but with the ads they aren’t mandatory you don't need to watch them to play. Again would recommend if you are bored, have nothing else to play, are looking for a fun mobile experience or just have some time to kill during commercials or in between your online classes.

I play both games and I admit that the original was fun, but did get old because they didn’t seem to have large differences from one city to another. It seems like the reason to keep playing that one is to see when the large items ie. cars will appear. I enjoy this one way more and like the phone calls with the side missions. I especially like that the side missions have great incentives. Oh, I also like that you can see what the other bidders win when they outbid you. I often wondered what in the world was in their units when they profit large amounts. Funny enough my husband was the one that found these games, and I love them!!
