Just like the website (which can devour even the strongest computers), there’s so much focus on trying to jam as many ads in as possible that it borderline breaks IMLeagues . Schedules glitch out and jump around as ads try and load everywhere. Scrolling around can cause one to somehow open an app at the bottom of the screen. Every time you want to open a new window, ad. I’ve been on this app for 4 years now and the running joke with my friends is that the website and app’s most functional parts are the ads, while everything else seems to be off the priority list. IMLeagues gets lost while you navigate. If you try and go through too many pages it gets amnesia and as you try to hit the back button it keeps opening the same page until you get back home. The buttons are unintuitive and even downright invisible. It took me ages to find out that tapping different parts of a line of text could open up different menus. And this is just IMLeagues . The website takes eons to load because it tries to fill half the page with ads. It never creates a proper cookie to remember your information when you come back. The navigation is a maze, and if I have more than two of three tabs open my 16GB RAM desktop will start to cry. But you can bet that those ads will still work regardless of anything else.

Ad blocker? Haha. The one part of their website that’s consistently working is making sure you don’t have one of those on.

This is absolutely the worst app I’ve ever downloaded on my phone! The only reason I still use it is because I need to in order to reserve a spot at the gym at my university. As soon as I open IMLeagues , it starts making everything on my phone freeze. If I’m listening to music, it’ll stop the music. If I try to navigate to another app, it’ll freeze my phone. Even if I’m not on IMLeagues but I haven’t closed out of it completely on my phone, it’ll make my phone freeze to where I can’t even power on or off!! I only go on it to make a reservation and it can actually take up to 10 minutes (when it should only take around 1 minute total!) I don’t know how IMLeagues has 4.5 stars! Everyone I’ve talked to has the same problem! Worst app ever!! This needs to be fixed!

Every time I try to open IMLeagues there’s a screen that asks to remove ads for $4 and when I hit continue in order to keep the ads, I’d give it a 50/50 shot of crashing IMLeagues . When I do make it to where I want to go... it looks like a slightly modified version of their website with the only change being that there are tabs at the bottom (which refreshes the page and requires that payment screen again). I like what they’re trying to provide but their website is cluttered with ads (at least put the content in the center people) and IMLeagues seems like a hastily ported version of the website that is ultimately just a web browser that’s restricted to only their website with a mobile overlay slapped onto it.

Downloaded this p.o.s. app not even 20 minutes ago, not knowing the ads that came along with it. The screen of my iPhone 12 that I got about a month ago is now going black every 5 or so seconds! This was IMLeagues that was used to sign up for gym time at my school and I have decided that I’d rather use the garbage quality website. I’m expecting a reply from whoever moderates this travesty of an app that just screwed up my phone. So glad you worthless sacks of waste were able to offer the option to “remove ads for $4” because you just screwed me over and I didn’t get the chance to use your Frankenstein of an app. Please do me a favor and reconsider the crap you put online, especially when it’s being used by primarily students.

So. Many. Ads. Normally I don't mind one or two ads to keep IMLeagues free/low cost, but holy cow is it an unpleasant experience to use both the website and IMLeagues because of the ads. They slow down the webpage to the point of freezing every time I navigate to a new page. IMLeagues is better (with a couple 30 second full screen ads each time you open IMLeagues to check your team's schedule), but I am unable to register successfully to team invitations because the signature box for waivers is not available on mobile. So this year I have been forced to endure the pain of using the website to join teams, and then use IMLeagues as a glorified schedule. I highly wish my university would use a different scheduling system than this app.

Perhaps the worst user experience ive ever seen in a mobile app or website. It seems like the developers never tested anything even once. Even with the new app, there are still obvious issues like text being cut off in longer questions or answers. The whole experience is honestly interesting because of how bad it is. Even this input form has spellcheck disabled for some reason, like why? In fact, I just realized I can’t submit this message within this form because the keyboard covers up the cancel/submit option so I’m posting it over on IMLeagues Store reviews section. If any developer is reading this please email me and I’ll put together a list of ridiculous things users have to deal with. Oh my.

IMLeagues is absolutely unusable because of the ads. I understand that apps use ads to make a profit, but the ads on IMLeagues pop up at every page change and most of them can’t be closed. That means when I want to try and check when a game is, I have to close and reopen IMLeagues about 5 times before an ad loads that I can actually close and then access the content I need.
I can only imagine that all the 5 star reviews are fake, because this is the worst app I have ever had the displeasure of using. What makes it worse is that my school uses this terrible website and app which means I’m stuck using just trying to get information. Absolutely terrible.

I don’t understand how IMLeagues has near 5 stars. It has so many bugs. The ads are very slow to load and slow down the program. There are bugs in the UI, the profile button under the picture in the menu loads randomly to the left. When I try to click on “Join Team” after I received an invitation, it just shows a little sliver of a blank box with an OK button. It looks as though something was supposed to load there but hasn’t. Giving IMLeagues a good rating just enables the developer to leave these bugs in and think IMLeagues is working properly when it isn’t. This worsens the experience for everyone, including the reviewers.

IMLeagues is terrible. I was trying to pay the extra funds for not being a student and I couldn’t even find out where to pay. If you have someone trying to pay and they can find it you know you have a problem. You can’t accept new user through the mobile app. There is no search when selecting a school so you have to scroll through hundreds of schools to find yours. The invite email to join a team doesn’t send. And signing up on IMLeagues requires a signature but there is no where to sign. Honestly just a terrible user experience. If IMLeagues doesn’t crash at least three time then count your self lucky.

This is the best and greatest app out there. My school started using it and it is awesome. You can tell the developer is passionate about his product and cares about the users. I read some other reviews and some people are so ignorant. If you have an issue with someone funding an idea or product so you can have it for free, maybe you should stop playing and go study so economics!

App simply doesn’t operate according to its purpose. I am unable to accept a team invite. It takes me to a screen where I’m asked if I want game day reminders, then there’s no where to go from there. No way to further confirm. Kind of hard to join when you can’t join. Please update this. Also it might be beneficial to run a few less ads on your website. I went there to try and join via another portal since IMLeagues isn’t working and my computer about shut down from the monetization screaming at it from every conceivable area on your site. Video ads don’t make anyone happy.

IMLeagues is incredibly slow and bugs out consistently to the point where it’s borderline unusable. It’s painfully slow, the ads are overwhelmingly overpowering the user experience. I attempt use IMLeagues in order to “more conveniently” schedule sessions at my school’s gym and to avoid the website but JEEZ is it unbearable to use. It’s slow, glitchy, and jagged even when every other app is closed and not using any background power. It’s really baffling how many positive reviews IMLeagues has. Honestly, consider how much you appreciate your sanity before downloading this monstrosity.

I like to take the time to review a good app when I come across one. I have been really impressed with the this app app and especially how far it has come from since its launch this fall to now. I’d say it has 90% the functionality of the website and is a really great tool for my team.

My team now has to get out of work and or class early to make our first game because my preferences did not go through. This is obviously an app problem that needs to be resolved. It also really vexes me that this issue is a thing. Hate having to tell my boss I need to leave early because something that should never have occurred happened. I have at least 5 more teams to be captain of and would like for this to never happen again to me or anyone else.

I run our intramural sports department and we could not be more unhappy with IMLeagues and website. The architecture of it is so outdated and full of redundancies. Menus and navigations are slow and cumbersome, it feels like it was designed in the 90s with a dial-up modem. IMLeagues doesn’t offer full functions so to manage it you HAVE TO use the dreaded website. We have encountered hundreds of hiccups, bugs, and crashes. Do yourself a favor and look for an alternative. Don’t subject yourself to this painful app.

Ads are so intrusive that it makes IMLeagues almost unusable. Now it even randomly directs you to the browser to see an ad. It’s impossible to scroll through the fitness classes offered because the ads make it so jumpy and inconsistent. I refuse to pay any amount of money to use the facilities my school already charges me hundreds in fees for.
Also, when I wrote a poor review in IMLeagues itself, someone contacted me and told me I would have ads removed from my app. Never happened.

Huge fan of this app for years now. I am an administrator and have been using the website forever. The admin tools on IMLeagues are simply amazing. We don’t have wifi at our far fields so the offline mode allowed us to finally go paperless!

I am forced to use this app to sign up for workouts at the gym. I used to go to the gym 4-5 times a week but I rarely go now because of how difficult IMLeagues makes signing up. IMLeagues lags and is incredibly slow. Signing up for a time slot takes about 5 minutes because of how difficult IMLeagues is to navigate. I’ve requested that my school find a new service because their website is full of spam and IMLeagues is slowly killing my phone.

I have no choice but to assume all of the 5 star ratings are paid employees or close friends/family members of the developers because thinking that IMLeagues or its respective website is even close to 5 stars is absolutely laughable. I’ve wasted more time on this stupid app and website than anyone should ever have to. If my school didn’t force us to use this, I would have never gone on it again after the first time I ever did.

Virtual ID and Card swipe have been this awesome for group fitness. As an admin we didn’t want to hurt attendance but also wanted to be able to keep track of stats and be able to comminicate. These features have now made that possible.

Next year build the march madness functionality directly into IMLeagues !!!!! Responsive website was OK for following along, but this would have been much better. I’ll give you a pass since you just launched it.

this app and now IMLeagues has made my life so much easier as a rec admin. Previously been using the mobile site, but with the addition of cardswipes and offline mode I’m really digging IMLeagues .

You can’t even navigate IMLeagues without cancerous, in-your-face ads popping up every 5 seconds. Literally anything you click causes an ad to pop up. Had to delete immediately and take a cold shower after being violated by IMLeagues.

Big shoutout to the developer for making IMLeagues unusable (and then telling users they can remove ads by paying a fee). I get that ad revenue is necessary for business but this is just overkill.
