I paid for this app; I understand the need to make money and a living, BUT I ALREADY PAID!
Imagine you buy a refrigerator. You come home one day, try to open it, and there is a message that says if you want to continue to use the refrigerator you already paid for, you now have to pay AGAIN. You have to rent your paid-for fridge by the month or year, but no pay, no access.
**It's just wrong.
Grandfather previous users in, or tell me to pay for additional features/upgrades, and I understand; I may not like it, but I don't leave bad reviews for that.
This...this feels like theft.
More developers are doing this, and it is making me less and less likely to buy any app without a lifetime purchase option.

I hated this do you have to pay? THE WORST MAN

I’m kind of confused now, you want me to pay a never ending rental fee to use this application from now on? A subscription? In an app where the content does not change barely at all ever? I’m all for paying one-time premium prices for premium applications. But paying a price that never stops ever for the same content that is always there? Are you seriously asking that of us now??????
Even if a new origami design gets added occasionally. Well, it’s still not worth me paying $3 a month for eternity. Don’t even you yourself have too many subscriptions in your life? I’m asking this of you, the developer? Don’t you already have way too many things in your life that want you to pay a never ending rental price for anything and everything you try to use? Would you really want to pay a monthly subscription price to an origami application?? Seriously??! I’ll be glad to pay a one-time upgrade for some new origami designs or just for a premium version of this application. But this is close to the lunatics I saw who offered calculator apps and wanted a subscription paid to use a calculator. Let me just say that again. Some bat$&@! crazy developer was offering a calculator, right? And he thought it was okay to ask his customers to pay a monthly fee to use……..a CALCULATOR.
I used to actually joke back in the day when this vile subscription trash was made available to any and every developer. That one day we’d see this sickness used so inappropriately that even a stupid calculator application would have the sheer nerve to ask for a never ending rental price to use a something as simple as a calculator app. And I’m saying now that this is pretty close to that for me. For that level of madness.
Just because Apple is so greedy that they made it possible for any developer and any application or game to use a subscription plan. Totally does not make every use of adding a subscription plan to an app or game warranted or even remotely justified. In instances like this where is applied it’s just unethical in my opinion and bad business. I’m always glad to pay a one-time price for any application, just like I did with this program. But renting anything besides something that makes sense, like Netflix? Heck no! That’s madness! Just how many different subscription plans do all of you developers out there believe we can all afford?!?!? Pay a separate subscription price for every single application or game we want to buy?!? Madness!
