ThePersonalityTypes is fine...but some problems and suggestions. One, sometimes ThePersonalityTypes glitches and I can’t open it. It’s not bc of my iPad bc it never happened before. Ever. Second, I wish there were more than just 2 options for the test thing. I mean, how are you suppose to know our personality just by answering 1 out of 2 choices? Can’t there be more options, maybe even a “other” one? It just doesn’t seem like a accurate thing to relay on. Lastly, the whole thing is pretty inaccurate. Sure, some of it is true, but about half of it isn’t. So you couldn’t call this thing “accurate”. It’s either partly accurate, or not accurate at all. For some people, it may be completely accurate, but mostly it’s not. I’ve read other reviews saying it’s not so accurate either. Overall, ThePersonalityTypes is ok but I wouldn’t recommend it

I like the way they describe each of the functions and have comparisons such as the differences between T and F. Also the quiz got my type right on! (I am an ISFJ) A lot of quizzes mistype me as ISTJ, INFJ or INFP/ISFP. I do wish it had more on cognitive functions and the dominant functions of each type. Especially since better understanding cognitive functions can clear up mistypings. Altogether it’s a really nice app and I would recommend it if you would like to learn more about your type or others. It also comes in handy if you’re a writer because I find it incredibly helpful for developing unique and interesting characters for my stories.

As both a mbti enthusiast and someone who has studied it quite in depth for years I was happy to find ThePersonalityTypes available in the store. It makes for a clean, to-the-point, guide to the types and their associated traits and is well organized too!

However, I find the test given to be a little too simplistic as it doesn't seem to play much into the cognitive functions and the response choices seem too narrow to get a fully rounded result. ( It’s best to research and type yourself that way anyhow). There is also a major error on the “Functions of Types” page. Quite a few of the stacks are in the reverse order? INTP, for example, should be “Ti>Ne>Si>Fe” I assume this is just a typo.

I hope to see more updates and will continue using ThePersonalityTypes for fun, thank you!

This is a seriously accurate test! I was a bit sceptical of ThePersonalityTypes because a lot of tests like this are fake, but when I got my results I was like "No freaking way!" because I got an infp result. One of the career options was author, and I've been wanting to become a writer for a long time! Also, I've been told km very talented in music(my dad is a composer) and music was a part of the list too. This game has got me on five stars all the way-

I was impressed by the results. But, I suspect it’s not 100% accurate because I wouldn't have chosen responses provided to some of the questions. But, in order to move forward I had to chose. I would prefer some of the questions to have been asked differently or to have an additional choice of responses. I hope those changes can be made in an update. However, overall it’s insightful, thought provoking and offers helpful insight into my strengths/weaknesses and management styles. Something I will review and work on daily.

And simplified misconceptions. Lists the cognitive functions associated with the cognitive types, the descriptions of which reminded me of when that barbarian landed in the Bahamas, thought he was across from the globe and labeled them in his ignorance. Cites 16personalities as a source, this test surveys ones position on 5 scales, and assigns type letters based on dominance (E 51% v I 49%=E). Cognitive functions can’t be measured reliably that way.

It saddens (frustrates) me, and this isn’t really on the developer, that people approach this tool, this theory of personality, and instead of initiating the process of self-investigation, understanding, and growth, they mostly get cheeky confirmation and a label that shields them from having themselves or anyone else dig any deeper.

ThePersonalityTypes is really cool and fun to take with friends and family, but with that being said if it isn’t your correct type then don’t let an app like this tell you how to act. Though most of this is seriously so accurate it’s a little frightening (lol), there were a few things that were so wrong it was practically an opposite. But all in all very good app. Also. To anyone reading this just know in the relationship category..... if your significant other isn’t in your matches don’t let that decide whether you break up with/ stop talking to that person. I have taken many personality tests all of them come out the same but very few of them explain the full length of accuracy of a personalities thought process so I give this test 5/5 it’s perfect and even tells you who compliments you and has it right about those who you innately dislike being around it even describes traits you may have noticed while your working or around others etc

love ThePersonalityTypes so so so so much and can’t wait for more updates!! I love the dark feature and how catering it is for the UX to be so simple and sleek to understand 😆😆😆
My friends and I have been on it and reading each others and hope that in the future updates we’ll be able to see each others MBTI types kind of like costar? It’ll probably be hard AF but I have faith hehe and I STILL LOVE THIS APPPPPPPP no matter what tysm🥺🥺🤩🤩🖤🖤

I love a lot of things about ThePersonalityTypes: the accuracy, the easy-to-read format, the ease of book marking your favorite/most important parts of your results, though I do wish there was more. The reference page does help us a lot to find more information, though I wish those listed URLs were links too!! A few nitpicks but for a free app it’s absolutely amazing- rock on.

I really like the updated information about cognitive functions, however, the cognitive functions of each type are incorrect beginning with INFP. If people are learning about their type, that could leave them with incorrect information, so if the correct cognitive functions could be put for each type in the next update, this would be a fantastic app. Also, on the type’s page, indicating how each cognitive function plays into type behavior would be very helpful.

I was already thinking it was pretty cool because it was completely free (with a few small ads, barely noticeable really), quick, accurate, and had nice easy-to-read formatting and interesting info, and then I saw it had a quote from Joshua Graham and I just had to give it five stars.

I love ThePersonalityTypes so much, it helped with understanding the complexity of the human mind and the different aspects to personalities. I am in love with psychology and i’ve really enjoyed forcing those close to me to take that test LOL. ThePersonalityTypes is amazing and provides just enough information about the 16 personality type.

I found ThePersonalityTypes to be very accurate, informative, and satisfying! I really like how well and easy ThePersonalityTypes overall explains with such a precise manner that is easily understandable terms! Also, ThePersonalityTypes overall is extremely user friendly and very simple and straightforward to navigate

So when you first download ThePersonalityTypes you take the personality test which don’t get me wrong is great. But then when you’re done, what are you supposed to do? Then ThePersonalityTypes is kind of useless five minutes after you take the test.
I thought there would be more than just one quiz because after ThePersonalityTypes is literally like some info about yourself that you read and then what? There’s nothing else to do. Please add some more quizzes and I will change my review

I still waiting for the adds to pop up. Or something fishy to happen. It seems completely free and out of all the Personality Test app this is the best and I’ve purchased them all. I never ever download free apps. Not ever. I’m pleasantly surprised to say the least. Please keep ThePersonalityTypes free. If not please don’t add any of the in-app purchase crap. Don’t ruin what’s great!!!!!

I’ve taken these kinds of test to diagnose my personality before and when you answer honesty and openly they are extremely accurate. These results gave me even more detail then test I’d taken before and were extremely accurate for me.

I’ve taken this test on my own a few times and was surprised to see that ThePersonalityTypes got accurately assessed me! Sometimes some tests online are too long and then you find that they are a bit off but this was short sweet and accurate.

Y’all this is a great app and I totally recommend it. It’s way better then all those websites that lead you to new websites that is trying to sell you some book on your personality type. You will absolutely love it. I totally recommend it! 😱😊❤️

I am an ENTP. I’m not just saying that because if another quiz, I actually know the functions and stuff lol, but they got it really close!!! The typed me as an Intp, and because Entps are one of the most introverted of the extroverted types I see how they could mess this up. Over all it’s a good resource.

I was able to understand a little more about myself through ThePersonalityTypes and I think that it would be good for anyone to take the test and understand more about themselves as well. I got INFJ :).

I’ve NEVER rated an app, and although I think the advice in ThePersonalityTypes is accurate, the grammatical errors are confusing. The author frequently switches between 1st and 3rd person when describing a trait. One minute you think your reading about yourself...then your reading about what others think of you. It can be a little confusing. BTW I’m an ESTJ.

Very Nice, it explains well especially pairs. Most MBTI tools and people uncertified usually stay in Type 1 territory.

Most of all this is very user friendly.

The only draw back could be the lack of questions, as more questions can provide better accuracy. However that can be hard in an “either or” format as opposed to an answer scale. ...BUT as a person certified and as a counselor/coach this would be the preferred FREE tool for certain clients or in our membership. We like this tools and 16personalities.

There are many errors in the text. Aside from bullet points being repeated and spelling errors, the second (and repeated verbatim in the fourth bullet point) under ENFP Career is written, “Make sure to have the facts straight, and PLAY attention to detail.” Fairly certain it should be “pay attention,”not “play attention.”

The famous people typings were certainly made with a novice eye. Jon Snow from GoT, for example, is an ISFP (not INFJ) in other expert’s opinions. Coming from the dom Ni perspective this is clear the character isn’t running the North primarily in that way. Here is one of many typings ThePersonalityTypes provides that skews the perception people will gather of that type altogether.

Judging the references cited is the tell that what’s provided is unreliable.

Trust me and look elsewhere for dependable information.

I had no idea what personality I had beforehand but after taking the test and getting the results I was amazed to see more than even I knew abt myself on paper and was excited to get my personality (entp)

Super easy to use, lots of good references, details about all personality. Took it in 5 mins in a class while doing other personality test stuff. Very beautiful interface.

Overall, this is a pretty good app with an accurate test, but I believe it could do better with more functions or details about the personality types. It gives an okay description of each personality, but there is more that could be added.
