The number of ads in BricksBreakerPuzzle is insane. Ads starting up, pausing, resuming, opening up menus, and border ads. Especially those really noticeable ones from that trashy “Choices: Stories You Play” app. Very annoying. The game also forces you to spend the in-game currency that you are awarded to pass certain levels. There are levels of almost solid blocks with numbers in the hundreds that are literally impossible to beat without spending the currency. And when you get low, get ready to get spammed about buying more. The angles are also weird. Hitting a block in the same place at the same angle may send them in a different direction from one attempt to the next (example: hitting the side of a box may make the ball start bouncing vertically, as if it hit the top or bottom.) Overall very low quality, bad graphics, annoying ads, and glitchy mechanic. 0/10 would recommend to anyone.
I used to love this game! It was challenging and fun, I was even stuck on a single level for like 6 months but I kept at it, because there were specific bricks you could focus on and angles of attack that would give you the best out come. Every puzzle was different and I loved it! I was over 300 levels in and then the developers COMPLETELY CHANGED EVERYTHING and it deleted ALL my progress! The entire format of the game is different and now it’s more like those old fighter jet constant upward scroll games and I’m NOT a fan!! WHY?!?!? Honestly I hate the new format and it doesn’t keep my interest. I prefer the slow format of moving a single space after all balls were used. I think I’m just going to delete the game because it’s not the same and it’s not what I want.
I had been trying to beat a level for several weeks and had plenty of rubies but with about 5 lines left I ran out so I purchased about $15 worth of rubies and then got rid of the final lines and the game bugged out. Like there were no lines left but the level wouldn’t end. So when I closed BricksBreakerPuzzle not only did the game not let me pass the level it took the rubies that I purchased on that level. I’ll be deleting this game since there are several others just like it. Don’t waste any money in this game. I typically do not spend money on these but I was frustrated and wanted to get past the level I’d been stuck on.
The amount of ads from this game are so frequent, it makes going to the next level dreadful. You can't even go back to the main menu without being forced to be presented with an ad. You'd think they'd put that ad money into RnD and come up with some power ups or something to give you, the player, an edge.
There were some interesting blocks that I was hoping to see more of, but after a few levels, you don't see them again.
After level 100, the levels become neat impossible unless you purchase the micro transactions or whatever. I have made it to level 122 where I am now stuck and getting past that level is impossible unless I fork over money.
Despite all of that negativity, the game is fun and a great way to kill time. If I could offer an actual improvement for the game, it would be to allow the aim assist to lock if you hold it there long enough. It is frustrating to line up an amazing shot only for the slider to move a little bit when you release.
And power ups.
Anyways, I'm gonna delete this game off of my phone now; I'll never know if the game ever improves from this day forward. ❤️
BricksBreakerPuzzle does not respect your sound effects and music choices... I have to turn off my phones sound so ads do not scream at me! I’ve missed important calls and msgs after forgetting to turn my sound back on! I realize this is how many apps are doing things but I find it extremely disrespectful and in poor taste and must warn others in the hopes they too will complain and force all companies stop this nonsense!
The game also gets stupid hard around level 300 or so which takes away most of the enjoyment!
It's a fun and mildly addicting game, easy to play and pass the time, the problem is they have taken away features that made the game fun to play, there was a daily prize for playing everyday, gave some of the in game currency to buy those extras that help you get past those difficult levels, now gone so if you want to get some help passing a level it's watch even more ads, or spend real money. There are enough ads already and no game is worth the kind of money there asking.
It was a five star, but with the recent money grubbibg, it's a two.
I have been playing for years, like at least 4, maybe 5. That should tell you something about the enjoyment factor, but since there’s been ads from the beginning, that should also tell you about the tolerability of the ads. However, with the recent onslaught of new ads (which end up being a solid 2 mins after the initial 90 secs, followed by 20 secs for BricksBreakerPuzzle Store redirect, and finally 10 secs for the “crazy ex girlfriend last ditch effort”), I think I’m done. It’s been a good run. Why’d you have to go and kill a good thing?
Perfect game to kill time that doesn’t shove micro transactions down your throat can easily grind ads for the gems to help clear those levels where they want you to spend money for power ups. Only problem is lately wouldn’t let me play and kept crashing before game would open, checked for an update but nothing so had to delete it and reinstall just to find all my progress wiped which sucked. Enjoyed it for a time but not worth restarting.
200 Ruby’s to get rid of 3 lines on ONE level? That translates into about $2. $4.99 for 550?? The balls are 1000. Which is about $10.
The game itself is fun and I really like it. The currency is ridiculously expensive. I won’t buy any in game currency because of it. Change it and I’ll give 5 stars. You guys (the developers) need to completely redo your currency system and then you’ll make more money on it because more people (including myself) will spend money. You charge $10 per ball, but don’t explain how the ball will change the game. So you just have to guess, then end up not liking it and your screwed. Having to log in every day for another 2-3 weeks to get a different one. Come on guys.
It can be entertaining and involves strategy and calculating angles. However, there are way too many ads and once you get further into the game you are almost forced to watch a 30 second ad get extra balls. Otherwise it’s very difficult to beat the level. The game is very repetitive. Watch an ad, play for a little bit, watch an ad, play for a bit, etc. I deleted the game because it was no longer enjoyable due to the ratio of gameplay to ad watching.
The first 100 levels or so are great. As you advance you find interesting things like exploding bricks, unmovable bricks, and indestructible bricks. But then after the first 100 levels they seem to have forgotten about all the interesting stuff, and all you get are denser and longer boards with bricks that take hundreds of hits to clear. And no more of the interesting types of bricks. After a while, it gets to the point where you have to open BricksBreakerPuzzle briefly every day to collect the daily boosters, and save them up for 3 weeks so you have enough boosters to get you through the impossibly difficult levels. At that point, the game is just a chore.
Most of the time the game is fun and a good way to kill time. It gets frustrating though when point-of-aim is not the same as point-of-impact. My vision is fine so I know where i am aiming. Then to watch the balls not impact where i aimed is annoying. This should be fixed but it has been a problem for years. Finally, I am working on level 527. Whoever is making these levels essentially gave up and fills the entire game screen with bricks. Very little to no creativity at these levels makes the game less fun.
Others have covered how good the game is. I have all the brick/ball games from Mobirix, on two different devices; they’re all great.
However, the devs do NOT know how to sell stuff. $50 for some gems and power-ups?!? Not in this lifetime.
Devs — here’s the deal: I would gladly spend a few bucks on the lightning bolt power-ups, for those extra-hard levels that I have failed 10 or 20 times. Like level 126... I’m stuck there. Let me buy 10 of them for a few bucks. Please! I’m begging you to let me spend some money! What you’re selling is ridiculously overpriced, but I’d really like to buy power-ups...for a reasonable price. Not $50 or more for a small handful of power-ups plus a large load of gems (which I can get for free every time I log in).
I love this game… It’s very addicting… HOWEVER... The only reason I didn’t rate it five stars is because, the prices are undeniably high.
I don’t mind buying different balls or Rubys for those extra hard levels, I just don’t feel what you’re charging for these items is worth the asking prices. As well as wasaasy too many advertisements.
My granddaughter and I both play, love and enjoy this game… She’s not as experienced as I am which means she has to use more Rubys to continue than I do.
I wouldn’t mind spending money to purchase more Rubys for her. If the price for them was fair and not so expensive.
Correct me if I’m wrong… Isn’t the goal to have people enjoy the game? (Spend some money) and overall, enjoy the game? I’m sure if you came down on the prices (not too much) but just a little.
More people could/would participate in purchasing more items. I know I would. (Just my opinion and my experience in playing the game)
Other than that, AWESOME!!! game...
Sincerely,
CrazyGamerGurl...
The game is fun. Not sure why they think I would watch a 30 second advertisement. If you don’t get my attention in 5 seconds your not going to. I have watch a bunch of the advertisements that go beyond the 5 second turn of time. I have even use products for them but to reiterate I turn the 30 second commercials off before I even watch to see what they are about.
It’s a great time killer, hard to put down but there is a strategy to it in the upper levels, I made it to 385 before I got so aggravated I deleted BricksBreakerPuzzle and reloaded it to start over, the first 200 are fun, not to difficult but I recommend it for covid quarantine victims
Amazing game!! Super fun, with tons of play time!!
With that said, a few things to change. I would like an option to pay for the removal of ads! Secondly, in the 3rd game, where you have a continuous stream of balls, please give an option to change, and/or buy another sword!! And make the sword itself about half as long please!! It’s pretty hard to control being so long..
Otherwise, GREAT GAME!!
WATCH OUT- there’s another app called Bricks and Balls that is almost identical to this one but this one (Bricks Breaker) is so much better!! Don’t know if the other app is by the same developer or if this one was stolen but this game does not have all the ads that the other app has and the few ads that come up are much shorter than in the other game and the sound always works in this game! Be sure you’re rating the correct game- this is so much better than Bricks and Balls!!
448 help. Been playing for a long time. Don’t pay for any boosts. Tips I’ve learned. Use the ones that close and can’t be destroyed- if you have a space above it open, use it to bounce back up
448 first shot at the round thing that scatters them. Try to hit the very bottom of it to leave the start point between ball return and back arrow. You show hav a fresh row of 90+ points tiles. Then a gap with low number tiles on the right wal. Get under the fresh 90. Then use that row on the right to bounce over he top. Stay Righto work down as long as possible.
This game is much better than the many brick breaker games I’ve tried - this one is smooth, doesn’t freeze up, very few ads - just mostly good gameplay. Levels are challenging enough without being impossible or frustrating. So far, I’m really liking it. Thank you for it!
