The terrible visual design and poor menuing of the new version would be bad enough, but the large blur effect added onto your current piece destroys the visual clarity and makes it much harder than it should be to play the game. Used to be fun, now is annoying at best. One star because I had the old version installed on this device and, when I tried to launch it, forced me to update to the current, barely playable version. If this is a patched version of the original visual update, as developer comments suggest, I shudder to imagine what it was before.

Ughh. I wish there were an option to play the original version. I loved playing this game but like another reviewer said, it seems so gimmicky and childish now. It was a nice game to play to wind down before going to bed but now there’s so much going on that it’s not relaxing. Also, all the buttons at the bottom now are annoying because I frequently hit them on accident due to the limited amount of space, which then interferes with the game.

This was literally my favorite game on my phone. I just really can’t get with this update.

I downloaded the most recent version and immediately wished I hadn’t. As another user said, the dark color of the previous version made this game feel relaxing. The updated art is not only irritating, but I feel like I’m playing something intended for kids. I couldn’t make it through one game long enough to try the new boosters because I was so annoyed and getting a headache from all the bright color. This game was something I enjoyed playing, maybe a little too often, but if this is how it’s going to be now, I’m done.

i downloaded this game on a whim and enjoyed it, despite it looking like a low-rent candy crush cash-in. there’s a fun arcade puzzle design here that is at odds with the garish art design. i wouldn’t dock so many stars for this normally, but i discovered through other user reviews that this design is relatively new. upon looking up what LapsFuse used to look like, i am bewildered as to why they thought this half-a**ed re-skin constitutes an improvement. they clearly wanted to get that lucrative “kids and grandmas” demo but it doesn’t even look like a good version of one of those games

even zynga ended up providing a skin to make drop7 look like it used to.

I’ve been playing this game on and off for a few years. I paid a few years back to not have ads. I redownloaded the game yesterday to get blasted with a subscription to not have ads. I exited out of that and went to restore the purchase and there’s no option to restore the purchase I made several years back for no ads.

This game has lasted the longest on my phone. I absolutely loved the simple design and concept. I played this game for years and I literally had to stop playing my first new updated game to write this review. This is the first time I have ever left a review on an app. The colors are so saturated and unappealing to me. This game now looks like it’s for a child. I used to play it while I listened to music to relax but now it’s just a headache. Again, I literally paused it and came here because my eyes could not handle the amount of things doing on. If you want to keep this style, I would highly suggest having the option to change the theme. I would MUCH prefer the old one over this. I hope you take this into consideration.

I loved the original version because it was very relaxing. The new one is anything but. For me, all the trailing lights and swirling background turned it into both a little kid game and a headache. The old black background made it feel like an adult game, now it seems babyish. Another thing I noticed is that if you wanted to continue your game previously, you had your score right there on the screen to help you decide if it is worth continuing. They removed the score on the continue screen so now you have to make a blind decision if you weren’t watching your score closely. I’ve played this game for an insane number of hours for well over two years. Often I can beat the tournament board and win the top prize, but if they don’t take your game seriously enough to let you know your score, it changes that dynamic. This was one of my top 3 games for relaxing, but I’m having trouble taking the game seriously now.

Why in the world would you take away the endless mode, and the furious mode? Why do you developers always “fix” things that aren’t broken? I’m giving this game 2 Stars now. It used to be 5, but now it’s 2. Bring back the other modes. I don’t always want to play in the skillz version of laps, I want to play by myself sometimes. Uggh annoying!!

I love this game on my Samsung, but on my Apple, ads to buy the game’s “Booster Packs” pop up intentionally timed to ruin any strategic drops I try to make (and ruin the game). If they want to make it a paid game, then go ahead and do that - but if I have to sit through ads (which are MUCH longer on Apple than on the Samsung), don’t make it impossible for me to play!

I love this game and play multiple times we da. Bu for the last few days LapsFuse closes automatically before it can fully load. I have restarted my phone multiple times and also reinstalled LapsFuse multiple times.

Now it’s been weeks and it still won’t load. I can’t play at all. I love this game. It’s so much fun. But for the past few days it won’t load. I’ve done everything I can think of and it still won’t load. It acts like it’s going to but then shuts down. I was going to contact app support but it says it’s a phishing site. Please help

I just updated the game and I paid to unlock the different modes and now I can't play it. If this isn't fixed, I'm kindly asking you for a refund. I didn't even get to play it after my purchase.

I really hope this is fixed. I truly enjoy this game.

Wahoo! This game is quite entertaining and I'm happy that the last update fixed LapsFuse ! Now I can play it again. Thank you!

This game is easy to catch on to and fun to play. I also like it play it because you don't have adds popping up every 10 seconds. Granted you do have to buy it, but I think it is worth it.

Please bring back the original design. I enjoy this addictively challenging game, but the redesign makes me feel like I'm in a Teletubbies episode. I don't like it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this game for a month--so much that I gladly paid $2.99 to be rid of the ads--but as I soon as I "upgraded," it got super buggy and now won't even launch. Please fix or refund the cost. Thanks.

Update: Yay! It's fixed!

I downloaded this to pass some time and it has turned into my "before bed" game. I don't know what it is but this game makes me soooo sleepy. I think the spinning puts me into hypnosis state of mind and I can hardly keep my eyes open!
Great game though! Super easy to use

I like the game but the ads are so long. I can tell pretty quickly if I’m interested or not in what ever is in the ad. After a few rounds I usually close it since the ads are so long and frequent.

I was super addicted to this game, but when they took out most of the modes I liked I lost interest. Then I accidentally tapped it the other day and to my surprise Furious Mode was back! I love furious mode! It’s super fast paced and makes you think quick. Now I’m back in. It’s a great game, you should give it a go.

Been playing for many months. Great game no adds/ great way to pass time while using your brain
