Mahjong Gold - Majong Master Reviews

I’ve been playing this version of Majong, and I’m really enjoying it! This version is much friendlier than other versions. The tiles and layouts are beautiful; the game prompts me when I get stuck, and I can take pieces in any order. This means the game allows me to disturb other pieces. I can take numbers out of order, it seems sometimes I have to go in direction of the four winds, or four seasons though. This is a ver lenient, westernized version of Majong better known as Shanghai in the West. Definitely try this version of Majong, I think you’ll enjoy it very much.

MahjongGold is very authentic and fun to play. There are many different backgrounds and tile selections. The music is authentic and can be turned off or on as well. Not a fan of the timer. You get knocked off points when you have to shuffle, which doesn’t seem fair. There are many different levels and three different skill levels to play. It would be more convenient though if the other game boards were accessible within levels. Meaning you can close and open levels more easily. Right now if you close out of a level, your progress is hindered and you’ll have to re-do a level you’ve previously passed in order to keep progressing in the game. Overall, a fun game with lots of options.

Love the clarity and diversity of the tiles. Like the timed aspect to keep me fully focused to get my best speed. Also like the ability to have a hint when I get stuck. This is my “go-to” diversion whenever I have a few minutes to burn. Can stop & then pick up exactly where I left off. Glad there will be more levels to master.

It’s your average Mahjong game. When you run out of games there’s more to buy. I just received an update which I thought would be an extension of more games, but looks like they increased Advert time. Maybe they should have addressed the ridiculousness in the “battle” of incompatible levels playing against each other ie: Level 14 against 1 or level 2 against 9. It happened quite often.

I play the games some each day. I have dementia caused by adult hydrocephalus and have a shunt to drain the water off. I play some each day usually. It helps with short term memory loss. I really enjoy it in my spare time and when I travel long distances. I am in Thailand living with my daughter and her family. Her husband is Thai. Thank you for developing this game.

Love the game. Play it daily. Kill time in the waiting room.
The last improvement showing your global rank and the players near you gives you a good incentive to catch up to the next player.
What I don't understand is how I slip back a position or two and not see the player who passed by?!

I have downloaded many Mahjong games after falling in love with it from desktop versions. MahjongGold, has been the best to keep me with it so far! I gave up, and had put 3 that were also available on iPhone also, for my mom to play while I had an PT appointment. I played the 3 later at home. This is the only one I kept.

Red Stone Mahjong games are my go to relaxers after a hard day of daily crap out in the world.I start out like a mouse on speed and after 30 minutes I can feel my self being able to complete my day with composure that family life ask for.

I paid for the game and when I tried to reopen it, I got a blank screen, no game. I wrote to the Customer Support address that I found in another review and received a response only after I had reloaded the game, only to find that the ads were still there. Apparently it is possible to restore purchases from within the game, so I did and 3 days later, everything works. A lot of hassle for a game, but it does work now.

Really fun game! Good challenge for your mind!
I do have one croquet about MahjongGold , though. MahjongGold should be reconfigured so that the tiles are larger when MahjongGold is used on a phone. I have the large iPhone-7 and play this game on it-and many of the tiles are ridiculously small. Hard to see.

great Majong game, can reset progress so yiu can replay the levels...this make this an infinity game. Other Majongs are locked after you complete the levels making them useless so you gotta just delete them...this one is different! Highly recommend!

I have written several times about how many years I have played computer mahjong (Tandy cartridge ) and this is by far the greatest I’ve played. You keep making new tiles but I want more extras. I’ve played through the three additional game and patiently wait for more.

I get that ads are revenue for you. But an ad after each game is ridiculous!! If you are unable to complete a game and click on the restart button you get another ad!! It’s very frustrating. This is one of my favorite apps but unless this changes, I’ll be looking for another one to take it’s place.

This game is fun to play, but very annoying. First, I don’t want every game possible to win; it makes me feel stupid when I cannot solve it (even though I’m not). Second, it drives me crazy that the second setup of the same puzzle is exactly the same as the first time. If I fail the first time, give me a new setup for the second time.

Good past time to keep your mind sharp. Ads are annoying, buy don't interfere with the game play. Note to game publisher, after playing all the free campaigns, I don't see why people will pony up hard $$ for additional levels. There is plenty of free Mahjong to be had on MahjongGold Store.

This game is hard to put down. There are several ways to challenge yourself. It’s particularly enjoyable when you don’t win the first time and play it over using different moves to ultimately figure out the winning combination.

This is a fun game to play when you need a few minutes break or when relaxing. I like the variety of tiles that are available but I definitely prefer the more classic styles. Watch out when you start playing, it can be addictive.

Enjoy playing this very much. I’ve played thru all the boards several times and just keep resetting them when I finish them all. Very relaxing.

I’ve really enjoyed these Mahjong puzzles. Keeps me entertained for hours. I do find them challenging and often have to try multiple times for 3 stars. But that’s just me.

I really enjoy playing this game. The only thing I would have liked to see is an option to pay for no ads.
