HiGrade: Cannabis Testing Reviews

I don’t know how accurate it is but I tested two buds from two different strains and one was GSC and both buds read 15%and the other was GDP and both buds read 21% and you can tell the GDP is definitely stronger than the GSC. At least it gives you an idea of how strong your buds are even if it is off a few %.
UPDATE: I recently bought from a dispensary and the strain I bought said it was 21% thc and the this app app read it at 21% seems pretty accurate. I love knowing if I’m getting close to what the strains advertised thc levels are supposed to be.

I have the pro edition for a legal medical home grow, and it's a surprisingly good tool.
I tested some dispensary flower, and the results were consistent with lab test labeling through a few tests from each jar examined.
I believe an estimated percentage (plus or minus three) provides a more accurate range for my purposes, since the potency will vary throughout the plant.
The grading feature (free version) is also cool. Aside from just checking dispensary bud quality, it's nice to be able to get impartial input on the quality I'm producing myself and see that it's at least as good as what I could buy.
While $80 ain't cheap, it's really for a full year subscription to to THC tester and grower advice (you send a pic & question), a much more exhaustive strain catalog than online sources, and is considerably less than other testing options.
The more folks who use it, the more training data for their AI, and everybody wins. If you're growing at all, I'd strongly recommend it.

I love HiGrade it’s great no longer will you have to guess whether or not the product you purchase is what they say with the thc% tester your taking the guess work out of the business along with a lot of other things but best of all is the grower support, I bet more than 50% of beginner growers give up because it can be challenging and expensive for your first few grows which may lead to no rewards at all but with the help of HiGrade and professional growers advising you all the way Well it’s a no brained !! My wife found this awesome device and so far I’m impressed. It provides a margin of error for the THC approximation. And given that margin of error it has been within acceptable tolerances it has matched what the dispensary test results say. Excited to know what level our home grown is coming in at. This is a must for people needing to find specific numbers for their different methods of enjoying their medicine.

This thing will be great for when I cultivate my own. So far I tried two different strains and I can’t stress this enough, make sure the bud is clear on the camera and don’t shove it all the way in, get it as clear as you can and the THC results will be very close (25-26%) and then on another time got 9% and then 23%, mostly because it wasn’t focused on the bud the first time. This will give you an average result, i just wish it could tell me what bud it is rather than me type it in, that’s the only reason i give it 4.

This is a big turning point on a cultivator and now it’s only going to help me home in better on my cultivating skills to produce better but at higher THC there is no turning back from using us unless they come out with something even better like tell you when your plants are close to ready to harvest

I just got it in the mail today and I’ve been playing around with it, its been super easy. I have some bud that I got at the dispensary Stardawy and it was accurate 21% THC. This is pretty cool, when you just want to make sure what you’re buying is what’s in the container. highly recommend it, will give it away as presents for sure!

For $79 dollars you should just go ask a friend that you know that grows to give you pointers and save the money. All marijuana facts needed now with more and more states legalizing it are right at your finger tips with Google. HiGrade is not accurate on a lot of things. Strains I tested were also tested in a lab for CBD and THC content and HiGrade was way off. All I can say about all these 5* reviews are they must be invested in HiGrade .

I did not purchase app as a friend had and brought it to my grow shop. Save your money.

Camera has issues. Sometimes it doesn’t focus. Other times it just locks up. App doesn’t fill the full screen like it was written for the older iPhones and they just released a new version. Not sure of the accuracy as it says lab tested 33% is 22%. Harvest timing is great though. Just sent in 2 photos for harvest timing and received an email back with timing for 5 plants. They sent the previous email over again. Doesnt seem to be accurate as it’s way off from lab tested labels.

I have used the kit to test over 40 different strains that I have gotten at the dispensary over the past few months. The results are always within the 15-18%, even if the lab tested results from the state are 25%+. Makes me think that the kit/application will always tell you those numbers, and using the +/- 3% often will get you to to the thc % listed because it fits the puzzle. But it rarely says higher than the 15-18% making me think it is fixed... Would love some feedback, maybe i’m doing something wrong but idts

I haven’t compared the results to a known THC bud. But seems to be relatively accurate. Major downside is you can’t use your pics from a usb microscope or your library. The program only recognizes pictures taken with the included scope. Still worth it. $90 to get tested locally. Already paid for itself.

Impressed with the ease of use and the information available. Potency is spot on within a couple points. Great info on any strain you can imagine. Would be great if in the future strain could be identified. Would recommend to anyone who grows at home and needs to gauge potency especially for those who make edibles. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price.

The scope is a little cheap feels cheap and not a big fan of seeing the front of the scope rather than just the whole camera but I don't know with the zooming capability if they can make it bigger but HiGrade alone is really awesome and seems to be very accurate so far. Love this so glad this is available and happy I got it definitely recommend

I just received the scope. I tested a few of my strains and I believe that it’s pretty accurate. The test can off by 3 percent either way. Make sure you test preferably in Sunlight or under a bright white light. As far as the growing and harvest advice I’ve got four plants all very close to harvest time so I’m interested to try out this part of the service. But so far I’d say it gets 4 stars

Works exactly as advertised. And I’d say it’s quite accurate from what the thc ratings compared to what the cannabis clubs list as. Have only once had it significantly off. And the weed honestly didn’t look as high rated as they had it listed. But coulda have been from the bottom buds. So many variables. But this this is very accurate!

The scope seems to work well and is relatively accurate when checking various strains that are store labeled with percentages. It would be nice if they could build in a way to edit the border of the picture where you see the scope outside the circle of the lens. Either way it’s pretty cool but I have not used any of the advanced features yet and this is my initial impression.

I have been testing flower for about a week with this unit. I will be sending the same samples to the lab soon. I will report back when results return and adjust the rating as needed.
After using and testing at a lab I have found this app to be worth using. It is fairly accurate but sometimes way off the lab.

App works perfectly. We are getting accurate readings every time. It’s very user friendly. We highly recommend using HiGrade it’s been a better service then other test kits we’ve used.

HiGrade is awesome for us home growers that are struggling with different aspects of growing. They somehow identified correctly... bug feces from a regular picture. The only reason that I am not 5 stars is room to grow, strain identification, an algorithm that helps identify what mystery seeds your friend gave you... wouldn’t that be nice to know you have gold or lousy pot. Actually, their grading of cannabis is also quite accurate. I will be an annual subscriber, don’t go jacking the price People’s!

If you’re one of those people who like to know what kind of weed your getting, HiGrade is it. You can even have an expert help you with growing your plant and will let you know any issues that your plant may be going through. Highly recommend to anyone

I’ve been using HiGrade for months now. It is dead on every time. In PA we get prepacks and it says how much THC is in the product. HiGrade is within +\- 1 on thc percentage and is always right about the condition of the bud. It’s no surprise, this is an Israeli made apps, everything the Israelis produce is done so with excellence.

I want this to work, but I don't think it does. I took a picture of some really high grade black diamond. Gave it 3 stars. Then I took a pic of some CBD bud, 0% thc I got from a vape shop in nyc. Cbd bud came back 4 stars. I want this to work but.... come on. Do better! Wont make the investment for the pro until I see a little more accuracy. In the apps defense the cbd bud did look like it was grown in better conditions. So I think if your bud “looks good” it tests higher.

Seems to be okay app just joined so waiting on my kit yet but look forward to getting it to test thc % & the 24/7 grow support is what got my attention also.

This is a great service for use as a “second opinion” in regards to harvest timing. HiGrade is easy to use and the response time to submissions actually exceeds my expectations. Well done!

Very nice app. Great to finally have access to reliable information. It would be really helpful if it was also possible to test for CBD levels.

Free version is very entertaining if you have a couple different strains or just want to see rankings and read about your headsmoke. Also a good way to prove your friends they smoke mids. 👍

I just got it and had some fire from the dispensary it was Girl Scout cookie and the dispensary said 20% and it said 18% but it says it’s within 3% so that’s right on the money I’m stoked with it

Nailed it right away. It was flame and HiGrade knew it right away tried again with a lesser quality and it showed that too
