Get Pricing Info for QEEQ Car RentalI booked a rental car from QEEQ for Sunday, September 4, 2022 until Friday, September 9. I paid in full using my Mastercard at the time of booking - the amount charged to my card was $591.33. When I arrived in Calgary, a shuttle took me to Routes Car Rental to pick up my rented vehicle. I was told a deposit of $500 was required. I produced the MasterCard used to reserve the vehicle and discovered that the chip/strip was not functional. I always use 'tap' and was completely unaware of the issue with the chip (the card expires in 2027 so there shouldn't have been any issues at all). I was extremely surprised to discover that Routes did not have the ability to accept 'Tap' - this is widely used by the general population. I was also surprised to discover that Routes was unable to manually enter the credit card number - this is completely unacceptable. I did not have another credit card with me - so Routes refused to let me leave with the vehicle I had already paid for. I then called QEEQ from the Routes and explained the situation. In very poor English, they said they couldn’t let me have the car and would ‘try’ to refund me! Needless to say, I hit the roof. I had to take a cab to my destination. Since this happened I’ve emailed QEEQ demanding a FULL REFUND of $591.33 in a timely manner. For the inconvenience I suffered, it would be nice to be reimbursed for the cab fare. They emailed me back asking for proof that I was at Routes! I emailed them my boarding pass to the airport, a business card I got from Routes, and a receipt for my cab fare from Routes. I also told them I spoke to one of their reps while I was at Routes- haven’t heard back from them. It’s been over 1 week now and these crooks still have returned my money, I plan on disputing the charge with my credit card company and contacting the Better Business Bureau. I will also post reviews about these scammers on their social media platforms

I travel over 250 days of the year with rental cars and hotel rooms and I thought I’d give this company a shot do yourself a favor stay away. Customer service is nonexistent or might as well be if you asked to speak with a manager that’s not an option my first experience was me I had a rental counter for over 2 1/2 hours not leaving with a rental car and being charged for the car after the rental car company canceled my rental car. I think this is the first one star really bad review I’ve ever left on a company and I hate to do it but there is no willingness to help from this company or anything it was ridiculous the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had actually. Apologize for the poor writing in this review as I’m leaving this review voice text because I’m so irritated and upset. All right I’m done. I hope it’s going to get better for this company as far as how they operate . maybe I just had a bad day with all the wrong people that are employed at Qeeq.

These scammers received our reservation from an ALTERNATE online source and our company was ALERTED BY our Companies Credit Card FRAUD DEPT who was alerted by the NUMEROUS, OUTRAGEOUS and RANDOM CHARGES. These FRAUD ALERTS cost our company time and aggregation and spent hours managing the REIMBURSEMENT for these FRAUDULENT CHARGES. This companies REVIEWS alone would have DETERRED any of our employees from ever choosing them as a rental car resource! IF they do pick up your call, they DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, or ask to call back. Our company dealt with MONTHS of ADDITIONAL CHARGES and RE-ATTEMPTS TO RECHARGE on a reservation which WAS NOT theirs to begin with!!! Our business CC company decided the best way to end this and STOP THESE FRAUD CHARGES for good was to CANCEL OUR Credit Card used for an online reservation and REISSUED a replacement - Our companies FRAUD DEPT REPORTED THEM via a FEDERAL LEVEL due to their continuous SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY and FRAUDULENT CHARGES. ***Our employees are now BLOCKED with NOTIFICATIONS to our management team, ALERTING us IF THIS COMPANY, we have renamed “EZ Scammers” makes ANY FUTURE attempts to revisit this VISCOUS ACTIVITY! - Save yourselves the time, trouble and stress- never use them! Run!!!

The car leased to us had the engine light and temperature gauge illuminated, and dash had electrical problems from the moment we got it. The car broke down 2 times. Sri Lanka Europcar left us stranded on the side of the road for 6 hours! The car was unsafe and expensive. They did not have a comparable replacement car, so they eventually brought a bigger car and said that was compensation enough for not having a car for three days!! This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with a rental car company.
Additionally, the information from the app said the deposit for car was $240 USD, and we were charged 500 EURO. Info said to bring license and international driving permit. When we got got, Europcar did not accept it and charged us $50 USD for additional driving permit.
This was the worst rental experience we have ever had. Our safety was compromised by the car we were leased, not to mention the unsafe conditions standing on a highway for 6 hours with a family.
