I tried to call the store and they asked me to call DoorDash. DoorDash on the other hand said that they will take full responsibility, however, since the order has been placed directly through bartaco, you have the authority to process the refund back to my card. The app leads you to believe that you can Sign In with Apple but when you try, it gives a little error at the bottom saying “incomplete user information from Sign In with Apple” and doesn’t let you do anything about it, no idea what “information” it’s missing nor an option to provide it.
Pushing along to the order process, trying to pay with Apple Pay yields a feedback-less error of “declined” no matter what card you choose in Apple Pay, until it decides to ban you. Then you can’t place an order anymore for an undetermined amount of time. Guess no food from Bartaco.

This app has no reason to exist. It purports to create a spot “in line” for you to make a reservation, but what it’s really doing is putting you in a virtual line, which runs completely parallel to the actual “line” of reservations at the restaurant, yet never actually arrives at said restaurant (case in point, I secured a “spot in line” about 30 minutes prior to arrival via the app, only to find out there was a 45 minute wait upon arriving at the restaurant). Therefore, it has no purpose to exist, since your “spot” is only valid for an imaginary version of the restaurant, not the one you’re physically standing in right now impotently reading this review.

I tried so hard try to place the order using the app. The mobile app is so poorly written and full of bugs. I just can’t pass the payment section. Go back to the drawing board and rewrite the whole app. Bartaco has lost so much potential business due to this poorly written mobile app. 0 star.
