- lots of errors in RadiologyCore when it comes to questions and answers
- answers are super irritating in that they most of the time don’t give you the answer to the question, rather a figure it out yourself explanation
- app feels like it’s made by someone who made their first app ever. It’s extremely glitchy, answers don’t always show, it jumps between questions and once you click next it doesn’t allow you to go back and see the answer to the prior question. All you see is the question.
- choices included in questions are not explained

With that said, yes some questions are good. But would I pay for this knowing using RadiologyCore just by its interface is extremely frustrating? Sorry, no. Save your money and buy yourself a meal on nightfloat instead.

Stick with the mainstream questions banks. Answer explanations are short and not really helpful. There are a handful of need to know type questions but you will see these in the other q banks. Lots of physics trivia questions that the ABR states per their study guide that will not asked or are not applicable to the practice of radiology or image quality. Images are also very small. Also, there are a handful of right and wrong answers contradictory to what the main review material teaches.

Very very bad app design for the iPad. Shame because the content is good. If you are going to buy this, use on your phone. I hope you have a big phone.

As stated by other reviews, a non insignificant number of questions/answers/explanations are just wrong, and if you aren’t privy to that, RadiologyCore is teaching you false information. Moreover, to the learner of physics with a developing understanding of the material, the frequency of incorrect questions/answer just sows doubt and confusion. Save your money and look elsewhere for a core physics review.

Overall a decent app but the amount of mistakes make a confusing topic even harder at times.

Latest iPhone update 16.4.1 broke RadiologyCore , answer submit button disappearing amongst other issues.

Questions are quick and to the point making it a nice review on the go. That being said, I’ve never wanted to throw my phone at a wall so many times for how often RadiologyCore freezes. Also, it doesn’t let you revisit previous question explanations very easily. All that being said, one guy put RadiologyCore together and that is impression by itself. Hats off to him. Thank you good sir. Solid resource for residents.

Good app for learning, but there are a good amount of errors where the question tells you that you got it wrong, but the explanation indicates that you are correct. This could definitely benefit from some editing.

Need correction to few answers. Two correct options has been given in some of the questions & the explanations for some the answers have mistakes.

Essential resource. Would be great to sort questions by modality (CT, MR, etc). Please add option to flag questions.

While I agree with other reviews that it would be helpful to be able to select questions by modality (MR, CT, US, etc), ability to answer prior questions that were wrongly answered, etc, for $10 Radiology Core Physics app is A STEAL!!! Just Under $10 you are almost guaranteed to pass the physics portion of the core exam and really the entire exam (since that section is usually the one that fails people)!

The questions are written elegantly - the person who wrote it really knows what he/she is talking about, not just thinklesly copying concepts from books and making question out of them! Great job and THANK YOU!

P.S.

I think it’s useful to do these questions before even one starts hard core physics studying, so that one could tune in the brain what to concentrate on. Then do it later again to solidify the material!

This was a fantastic resource! The material is excellent with very few mistakes and was highly relevant for material tested in the CORE exam. I highly recommend RadiologyCore for anyone prepping for CORE. RadiologyCore generally worked well on mobile and MacOS.

Excellent review a few days before the core. It is best to already have a foundation before doing this in my opinion. Very useful too for the plane ride over to Chicago/Tucson.
