I have created an account on Thunkable with my Mac on Google. I created 1 app and when I try to live test it does not allow and a notification pops up saying “Page unresponsive”. So I decided to download the Thunkable live app on my iPad live test on it but the second I opened it showed the sign in options and live test option and almost immediately showed a blank page with a loading icon on it.
At first, ThunkableLive worked fine. I was able to test my apps well enough, although sometimes background images wouldn’t load, and I would have to close and reopen ThunkableLive every time I wanted to refresh ThunkableLive . But now I accidentally navigated to a “create a delay” tutorial screen and I simply cannot back out. I’ve restarted ThunkableLive , deleted, and reinstalled it and still immediately navigates to this screen and it’s impossible to back out to my projects. Major shame. I’m on iPhone XR update 13.3.1 and I’ve heard this version doesn’t work well and I can believe it. ThunkableLive needs a serious fix.
So recently I have been using a data base to make an app on thunkable. I was using the lists variable and my goal was to list the specifc objects in the data base on the list. The problem is, the lists aren't showing the information and I have tried everything. Their docs don't help to much either.
I think that if they put a little more time in polishing their different variables when they released them, they would have a better user experience
When I first started using thunkable for school, all was well. Until about 5 days into my experience I started being unable to preview any if my UI, which made my UI and UX and complete mess. It was fine after I restarted my browser and computer multiple times, hit it won’t stop happening and I’m qite frustrated. For what it is, it works. It’s a great concept and I’d suggest using it when a child graduates from scratch, but it’s just *so buggy*! It frequently crashes…
I use Thunkable a lot but there are so many bugs in ThunkableLive like when I enter the screen it just turns white like nothing is there and on computers the navigation is the worst it doesn’t even allow to scroll with your mouse and a suggestion is to make it allow to copy a set of blocks
Hi! I have used thunkable for a little bit now. I am using an Iphone 12 mini, so every time I preview an app on my phone, it looks squished. Maybe you guys could optimise ThunkableLive for the iPhone 12 mini/13 mini. Other than that, ThunkableLive is great and the new UI looks great. Hopefully y'all see this 🤞
I am not a computer scientist or developer by training. I am an engineering professor and I use Thunkable often. It is very easy to use and the concept of block coding resonates with students from 2nd grade to PhD (non CS) students. I deeply value the open source concept and I always promote Thunkable to others when appropriate
Everything is amazing it works and functions like it says it will hit the only thing are the top and bottom bars. It makes my app look very squished and small. But other than that it’s an amazing app!
on the bottom of the screen there is a congrats your project is live pop up and a check out tutorials if you need help pop up also on the bottom, otherwise a fine app
There is not more of the fullscreen ui that existed before some updates. I still wish you can test app in the fullscreen ui it the shake to exit functions. Overall, it’s a great app for Thunkable and the many components that have! 😊

my phone screen size is a lot smaller than the newer phones, I appreciate thunkable still support my phone model! If you get remove the top and bottom bar, my app will look less squished.
Thunkable is the most user friendly free cost app builder ever! And the way it keeps adding new features all the time and makes it easy for us is the best! I love this so much and I recommend everyone uses it!
