ZIN Studio™ Livestream Reviews

I’ve used this twice, and the first time worked well, but the stream cut out because someone called me in the middle. I had to restart the livestream, and people were able to refresh their screen and get back on. Is there a way to make the software trump phone calls?

When I used it the second time, I tried to avoid this by turning off my cellular data and just stream through WiFi. Students logging on couldn’t see anything but a black screen, even though it looks like I was broadcasting. I turned the data back on, still nothing. So I have a lot of disappointed people, and I have no idea why or what happened.

ZINStudio has a lot of great potential, but there’s definitely some kinks to work out.

ZIN Studio is so great, way easy to use on the phone and provides a great, free resource for streaming. I love the emoji interactions. Heads up, there is a delay so when you ask your class for reactions it can take up to 30 seconds. This is meant to ensure quality but can be a little difficult if you need immediate feed back.

However, I really think is app needs ro be available on the Mac Laptop. It’s nice to use my phone and iPad but those screens are so small it’s sometimes hard to get a good angle and see how I’m doing throughout class.

Or at least, a way to sign into your class on your laptop so you can see and chat with students real time.

I loved this when it first came out, then had some technical difficulties, now back to feeling great about it. I did run into a glitch with the camera switch during class. I used the back camera for a moment to show my live students and when I switched back to the front camera I guess my image was upside down. Didn’t know until after class because we can’t see live comments. Would love to be able to see comments live! 🙏

Thank you for this ingenious solution to continue teaching my Zumba classes! For the pre-recorded class it is excellent!! For the class payment option it would be great to see an email confirmation sent to each participants as in Zoom Webinar to not have to micro manage every registration manually. For the livestream, it’s a big NO for me. I’ve had to refund all my participants due to glitches and technical difficulty. Patiently Waiting for version 4.0 😊

Links to classes are too inconsistent for students! Can’t find a rhyme or reason as to why a link works logging in on same browser with same log in one day, then won’t the next time. Please help as this was an issue before live version came out too😩

Omg ZHO yall have outdone yourselves! Picture quality is amazing and it syncs perfectly with the music. Would love to see the number of students online or comments live, but only if it doesn’t sacrifice the amazing quality! Zumba ❤️

Tried to teach a class on my iPad Air 4 and everything was great except that what I saw on my screen was me turned 90 degrees to the right in portrait mode. My class, however, viewed me dancing in landscape just fine and video and sound quality were great. Could you please fix this for the iPad??? It makes it hard to teach not seeing exactly what my students are seeing.

Tried it yesterday for the first time and it worked great! It did cut off for some people for like a second but it could just be the internet. Thank you Zumba for making ZINStudio for us!

What a great solution to livestream needs. Thank you Zumba for doing so much to support the instructors all over the world

I don’t know what happened but since the last update o was unable to watch an entire class nor even once because it freezes all the time. Image and sound are terrible and my internet connection is one of the best. TERRIBLE.

It’s a great source! However, I would like to see comments on spot rather than after class.

everything was working fine and now since the update i can’t get the live button to start my class until about 3 min after my start time. it makes me feel unprofessional to not be able to start 3 min before my listed time to welcome everyone.

My students are reporting the same issue “event has not started yet” YET I am live.

Please fix this error

I have been using ZIN Studio for the past two months and have beenI have been thoroughly enjoying ZINStudio. It is so easy to use and my students love it. Thank you Zumba for all your hard work to make this up and success.absolutely loving it! I loved the updates where you are now able to see who’s attending your class. I love the emoji’s and that there’s more choices for class members. I love that they increased the size of the emoji’s. I love that there’s no second-guessing whether you’ve actually started your class or not. However, with this last update,Something went wrong because I’m using my iPad and I tried to start the class and it comes up and says“Calling too stop/start too fast/dropping calls…“ mind you, this is an iPad. There are no phone calls on an iPad. This happened yesterday and then again today. Yesterday I turned off my iPad I turned it back on I switched the Wi-Fi I was using I did everything I could think of and 10 minutes later it finally worked. Today I just switched out my iPad for my android phone when it didn’t work. It worked fine on the phone. However, on the phone the red bar at the top that says it’s recording, is so big that you can’t see anything on the top of the screen. Please please fix the iPad issue. I don’t like doing my live class using the teeny tiny screen on my phone. At least it feels teeny tiny compared to my iPad. I also want to go back to loving ZINStudio again.

I love this platform. Crisp video (no lagging) and great sound. I used iPad locked in portrait mode and no orientation problems. For Android you need to go to your settings to fix mirror mode. Only thing to make it better would be to enable user to see the names of registers from within ZINStudio . Then I could great participants by name to make them feel special.

Video quality and sound are great.
