I am surprised the museum does not have an app that provides a map and location of famous works. I am visiting the museum today and bought tickets on line at the museums site. I read reviews of other museum apps and this one scores well so in downloaded it and I am about to delete it. What a waste of time. When you open LouvreVisitGuide and search around there is no map. There is an icon that looks like a map and when you click on it there are a bunch of add on charges. $2 euro for this $3 euro for that. NOT A FREE APP AT ALL DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. Just publish your cost on LouvreVisitGuide Store page you just create a horrible user experience. If it’s this bad free how bad am I going to get ripped off paying for each line item. You start with distrust from the consumer from the start. It’s like buying a car and they don’t tell you the price till you sign on the line and then hit you with an insane dollar amount. Same experience with LouvreVisitGuide . Shame on Apple for not making them publish the cost of LouvreVisitGuide on LouvreVisitGuide Store page.

I downloaded LouvreVisitGuide to my iPhone XR and was already decided to get the in-app purchases... but unfortunately, everything I click to try to pay just automatically closes it. I already reinstalled/restarted my phone, but no luck.

This tour guide is awful. Tried downloading the audio multiple times but it directs me to download it again. There isn’t a way for me to listen to the audio. Should have just purchased the audio guide directly from the Louvre.

Apps could use some help not easy to navigate. Directions or tour path was not clear but somewhat manageable. App does not play audio when not logged in very very annoying.

I’ve checked every setting I can find. The audio quits when the phone screen locks. Useless app. Don’t buy.

I was so excited when I downloaded LouvreVisitGuide! It sounds exactly like I wanted for an upcoming trip to Paris. However every time I attempt to purchase one of the guides LouvreVisitGuide shuts down. I deleted and re-installed LouvreVisitGuide , shut down my phone, and nothing.

All of the sculptures they talk about in the Richelieu French sculptures tour are wrong. Not sure when the tour is from but the museum has changed the collection. Information is useless

This looked like it would be such a great app. What a waste of money. The narrator must have been narrating in his bedroom beside a sleeping child because you can barely hear him.

Don’t plan to use this in the Lourve. The Lourve is a large museum with thousands of people, and stone walls. The people are all talking at the same time. Therefore you get a lot of echo. I had LouvreVisitGuide at the highest volume setting and could not hear a thing.

Several of the paintings were not exhibited as far as we could tell. The biggest issue, however, was that the audio download did not work. It did not allow us to purchase the audio. I pressed on both the words and the red button and neither worked. I’d appreciate the tour money back as without the narration, the tour was not useful. The automated voice was awful. We’ve used LouvreVisitGuide for other museums and enjoyed it. Thanks.

Glitches on IPhone 10. Had to back out after every video. The first voice over was pleasant, after that it was a robotic voice. Not up to date with latest locations of some of the art.

While the navigation with photos is helpful, the exhibit descriptions all sound like they were AI generated or copy/pasted from Wikipedia.

LouvreVisitGuide helped us navigate perfectly to our first exhibit but, the audio guide for it sounded like ChatGPT generated it and it described features the statue definitely did not have.
Almost every exhibit description tells you that it is located in the Louvre in Paris, as if you have no idea where you currently are. 😂

Disappointed.

LouvreVisitGuide seems fine enough if a little buggy but after purchasing a tour and the voices and downloading them to my phone I can only hear one exibxit before having to force quit LouvreVisitGuide to be able to hear the next item read. Inter I reach the next audio portion every time I’m asked too to purchase the voices I already purchased to listen. Please fix your in app purchase receipt validation.

the tour we bought was great, it said it was 2 hours but took us about 1.5. However LouvreVisitGuide was very glitchy and not user friendly. the audio guide for the last piece of art wouldn’t ever work which sucked cause we even paid extra for the tour guide version

Great way to experience the louvre for the first time. Gave clear instructions regarding where to go using pictures. I shared an airpod with my wife. Well worth the cheap price

Well made great directions, made our trip worthwhile and cheaper than the audio tour offered at the Louvre.

Saved us a ton of time and frustration throughout the museum. You can’t really navigate on paper so LouvreVisitGuide was a huge help.

Great guide inside the museum. Simple and intuitive. The thing is that is not only an audio guide ora simple guide, LouvreVisitGuide gives you a walking tour inside the museum which is quite innovative. They don’t have any map but they guide you using pictures with some short text which is really easy and you don’t get lost. I totally recommend.

Though i found one small problem. Back button when scrolled up and wont come back down. Harder to click. On tour page

The Louvre is so massive it can easily be overwhelming, especially on your first visit. The 2 hour guide made it very easy to see the main exhibits while providing audio and written history. Thank you!!
