I put like a million counters, paid for Counter and everything just to open it back up the next day and have everything wiped.
For the score, you should add a decimal system
First off, I like the overall design of Counter , the ability to categorize new and existing counters and the functionality to export to CSV, make edits to the dates and add a comment as well in the history tab. I would really appreciate it if you could include these future enhancements into Counter
1. Would it be possible to incorporate a percentage in the design to show what percentage the this app is at? For instance 10/100 is 10% of the amount.
2. Could additional colors be introduced with the option to enter HEX values?
3. Could some sort of a summary be introduced to show the net amount and net step for a category? For instance, if a category has 3 counters the summary is at the category level, total amount/total step * 100.
4. There seems to be a bug in the history section of the this app. Steps to replicate,
a. Add four values to an existing this app via the + feature/by manually entering different amounts. In the history tab, update the date of the newly entered values to Dec 19th. Close the history tab and open it again.
Expected Result: The four newly entered values should now be listed with a December 19th date.
Actual Result: The four newly entered values are consolidated into a single row or multiple rows without the ability to edit them individually.
I love the simple functionality of Counter. I am using it track progress through some extended reading that requires focus, and watching the bar fill the screen as I add pages read is immensely satisfying, more visually motivating than checking off a list. Counter fulfills this simple task for me and does it perfectly.
Wonderful app, super simple to use and great visually. Love that you can add the progress trackers as widgets. Downloading this on a new phone and realized how few reviews it had, which is unfortunate, itβs beautifully built!
Thanks for the great update! I just wonder why it asks for network permission now? I didnβt find any feature requiring a network connection.
