Once you start a game you can not cancel it. If it is recording on activity you can not get it to stop. My “game” went for hours which messed up my activity report. Only way to stop was deleting from my watch. Absolutely no directions in PickleballScoreKeeper . In set up if you give permission for access to activity you can not change. No way to change settings. Swipe rarely works so totally useless. All the positive ratings are likely paid. I had it on my watch for 24 hours and have taken it off.

I’ve used this for a couple of months and it’s great! Not only does it keep track of the score but it also tracks if your on the odd or even side (left or right) as well as your opponents However, one star off due to two shortcomings. 1st is the ability to undo an accidental touch to end the game. A couple of times I have inadvertently scored the final point and PickleballScoreKeeper ends the game. I need to be able to undo that. 2nd is the lack of being able to adjust the spoken score volume with the dial on the side of the watch. Other than that, this has settled many mistaken scores, or confirmed correct scores. Especially when a ball is hit over a fence, or someone stops to chat with other players arrive or are leaving. You often come to “who’s serve is it?” or “what’s the score?” or “am I a 1 or 2?” PickleballScoreKeeper is helpful with all of those.

A long time ago these guys fix the capability of undoing the accidental end of game. Super helpful, still use it every time I play and there’s always some point in the games that PickleballScoreKeeper comes in handy.

Initially was going to give this one star because it stopped the current activity then found out it automatically starts and records activity as racket ball. No need to remember to start and stop activity. Also it seemed to get stuck recording my score Once I started swiping from the middle of the screen worked perfectly. Easy to keep score during a match and all kinds of data gets stored including opponents, unforced errors , steps, calories, play time. Essential app for Pickleball

Have dropped one star as still doesn’t support rally scoring. Rally scoring is increasing popular and would be great if PickleballScoreKeeper supported it. No other rally scoring app exists.

I downloaded PickleballScoreKeeper after using Virtual Score Keeper. This is much more useful and could keep track of scores, server, server side, and announces the running score. Once sync with my iPhone, I can see win and loss score.

One function I couldn’t get working was swapping left to right to track unforced errors. I will delete from my Apple Watch and reload hopefully getting a newer version of PickleballScoreKeeper . It is a bit difficult to load because you have to download and install from the watch itself. App download on the iPhone will not transfer app to the watch.

I like to track my errors per game and this does it with an easy swipe. It is also interesting to see game duration, and points scored on my serve, etc. I have the sound off and majority of players that see me using it are interested. Two players have complained it throws them off that I swipe my watch each point so I do not use it with them.

PB fans: get this now. I just love an app that works perfectly. I was scoring games 60 secs after downloading it. A single swipe on your watch face between points is all you need to track score AND player positions. We play faster without all the score discussions - now if it could only handle line calls too...

Great for singles and doubles in keeping track of where to serve and scoring. Play with an opponent who has the patience to let you get used to the strokes and allow you to correct if you swipe wrong. It is well worth it for both of you to keep accurate scoring. I’m looking forward to understanding the game more so that I can use error tracking.

Great idea and good app. I love it and would want to keep using it. Two things — I wish I could undo when I accidentally make an error and I wish I could undo when I accidentally end a game by giving myself or the other team a point mistakenly. Other than that, it is amazing. Thank you for making it!

I have been using PickleballScoreKeeper for several months and it is great that now I always know the score. It has proven to me what I had previously thought (that nobody keeps score accurately, including me, without this type of aid).

PickleballScoreKeeper is very well designed and I highly recommend it. It is the only app I use on my Apple Watch.

The fact that PickleballScoreKeeper now asks you to confirm the game is over makes PickleballScoreKeeper about perfect. Many times I accidentally swiped the wrong way after a rally and ended the game. This new button keeps me from having to edit the game result on my phone and keeping track of the score in my head (which I don’t want to do hence PickleballScoreKeeper ).

I heard about PickleballScoreKeeper from a friend as I frequently lose track of the score during long rallies and find myself asking “What is the score?” Not anymore! It took a couple of games to pick up PickleballScoreKeeper interaction with my Apple Watch and now I’m always updated with the game score. Another bonus is that PickleballScoreKeeper also synchronizes with the Activity App so my exercise is tracked at the same time as well! Beautiful!

Great app to keep scoring and positions straight. I do have to preface most games that I am using the Apple Watch for scoring. Funniest question was, “What are you doing? Checking football scores?” I had one issue with mistakenly ending games, and saw it was an issue with others. The developer fixed this within a couple of weeks. It is the perfect app for keeping score!!

A few months ago I didn’t find any score apps that worked for the Apple Watch, but now there is this one, and it works great. I’d envisioned an interface where you tap on a quadrant to record points or turnovers, but the swiping method here is much better. Other than more stats just for fun sakes, I’m not sure what could be better. Perhaps a manual edit button to change the score and player position, in case you get off somehow and need more than an undo. Also, perhaps at least allow for a tap and hold to select edit player on the watch, and then select an opposing player and have the crown scroll through the alphabet. This way, instead of A and B for the opposite side, I could change it to Y and W, denoting the yellow shirt and white shirt opponents. Otherwise, I’m not sure I personally would recognize when they go out of position, not remembering who is A and who is B.

I’ve been using this for several months and find it valuable , it’s funny how keeping the score straight can be a challenge at times and PickleballScoreKeeper helps the match!

One enhancement request I see mentioned by others is the undo at end of game . In other words if I give the point to the wrong team and it results in a win, there’s no way to go back.

But all in all a great app.

Today I was just thinking that I would love to have an app to keep track of my progress over time, also keeping A log of all the people I’m playing and how I’m doing against different people. I could not be more impressed with PickleballScoreKeeper at first try! Even the animations on the Apple Watch are subtle, but make for such a professional touch! I love it when an app takes advantage of the swiping gestures in a very natural and intuitive way! Don’t wait. Just buy PickleballScoreKeeper, right now, if you play pickle ball and have an Apple Watch!

I actually bought an Apple Watch so I could use PickleballScoreKeeper. Frustrated over constant scoring arguments. I love it! Only one suggestion: the swipe up and swipe down seems easy enough. However, hands get sweaty sometimes, or I miss a swipe, and it takes a few swipes. I’d much prefer a tap to a swipe. Maybe a tap at the top of the screen for opponents rally win and bottom for me. It may sound like a small adjustment but because it takes a bit longer I’ve been getting comments from opponents as well as teammates for always looking at my watch and/or taking too much time.

I’ve been using this for four months now and I and my teammates love it. Thanks so much to the developer - you’re my hero!

Requests: I echo the request for a way to undo the point that ends the game, but I understand that it might be too much work. Also: I play with a group that uses rally scoring if others are rotating in, to get through the game faster. With this, a point is earned with each play regardless of who served. I would love to see this option in PickleballScoreKeeper ; as it is I can’t score these games and they aren’t reflected in my stats.

This is an excellent app: well thought out and easy to use. Plus I love you can look back over your year and see your wins and losses. My biggest complaint was if you swiped the wrong way on your last point, giving a team the winning point when they didn’t win, there was no way to go back. You would have to correct it on your phone after the game. That is now fixed in that it asks if you’re sure the game is over. It saved me today. I greatly appreciate the update.

I bought this yesterday and used it this morning. After a very small learning curve it is easy to use with a nice clear display. Only takes under a second to record a rally win or lost so is not at all disruptive to the game. I need reading glasses to read close up , but had no problems with the display on my watch without them. I probably won’t use all the features, but at $3 you have nothing to lose. I did find one small bug that will be easy to fix. On my iPhone (with the default font enlarged) the results list is too squashed to read well

With thirty-four months of use I’m very pleased with PickleballScoreKeeper. Keeping score is very easy. PickleballScoreKeeper is reliable for preventing confusion regarding the score, who is serving, and the position of players. I appreciate the player directory and the ability to review statistics on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis. PickleballScoreKeeper is a must for serious players.
