It worked really well when I started out with the free trial. I received text messages which was what I needed since I am not in the States currently.

I had to delete it for awhile and re downloaded it just a few days later. Forked over the subscription money and now it refuses to work. I don’t get messages at all, calls are extremely delayed and SecondPhoneNumber rarely if ever lets me access it with ease. It stays on the logo for a super long time, so much so that I have to restart SecondPhoneNumber every time to get it to work. And most of the time when it does let me in, it loads forever and doesn’t let me do anything.

Fed up with that, I deleted SecondPhoneNumber to see if re downloading it AGAIN would knock some sense into it. It won’t restore my purchases!!!! I select that option, it loads and nothing happens!!!! I need that phone number back, I still have that subscription active. Freakin RIPOFF!!!

I need to share this info about SecondPhoneNumber there is 3 things you have to pay attention to
1- SecondPhoneNumber always double charge or charge twice and every time I have to call to reverse one charge and it takes up to 14 days to get your money back !!!
2-tricky thing is that the number of minutes and message go lower with each time you use only one of them so if you are texting both texting and talking go lower !!!!!!!! I been through all the info notes privacy and term of used there is nothing mention regard this
3- All of the sudden even if you have a credit in the number you have it will be expired and you can’t use the number again or to transfer the credit to another number !!!!!’
Lastly the help service are the worst and never get back with any explaination for any of these ,,, so better to not be tricked with SecondPhoneNumber

The free “7” day trail is really only 2 or 3 day it will say it when you about to be charged so make sure if you don’t want it you cancel quick otherwise it’s a good app

This is a complete scam.
I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to let everyone know.
They are by far the most expensive option you can go with.
You only get 30 “free” messages for the entire year and then you end up buying credits at a ridiculously expensive rate.
In addition to the monthly subscription fee it’s costing me well over $75 more per month.
$90 a month, And I barely use the service.
Additionally, I commonly find out that there are text messages that I did not get from other people or messages that I sent that they did not receive.
Finally, to make matters worse there’s a glitch in their system where they text me every hour, 24 hours a day, telling me how many more hours of credit I have left, which subsequently uses up more credit.
I registered this number with my work, and as a contractor I can’t change my number for another year, otherwise I would have to be a complete idiot to use this product. It is ridiculously expensive, filled with flaws and a total scam.

First you need to pay a weekly or monthly subscription, then you need to pay additionally for any call and any message. But the SMS which I sent didn’t even arrive on the target number. A call wasn’t possible, always told me only home calls are possible. If you run out of subscription, you can’t access SecondPhoneNumber anymore, doesn’t matter how much credits you still have to call. Numbers expire without any information, they are just not available anymore and you can’t reactivate. Credit on this number is lost. The best: I wrote 5 mails to the support, one with a question about functionality, four with a problem. NOT EVEN ONE ANSWER! App already reported to Apple!

I was using this to call my family in the US because I live abroad, but a poor old lady just called me and told me this number has been calling her in the middle of the night and waking her up. She was so upset and begged me to get out of her life! I have no record of the calls, so it must be an issue with SecondPhoneNumber . I have deleted it and I really hope it doesn’t wake her up anymore ☹️ SecondPhoneNumber worked pretty well to call my family, but didn’t work reliably for sending texts. Anyway, I’m done with it.

I cannot really tell if it’s a good phone Apple or not you give a three day trial. But if I don’t have a business card a business mean ship at that time then it defeats the purpose if you really want someone to get to know you and I really believe that you should give them more free time to understand and see it if you’re not then who wants to waste your money on something that they not sure really will see what they mean or a comedy what they’re looking for thank you

They won’t cancel your subscription in app under the help section. Have to cancel with apple. I think their terms may have changed. I tried to get information back from the on canceling for months just unaware. They respond to refund requests saying they don’t give them and to call apple. Not what I expected. Can’t wait to get my refund.
Additionally, call made pop on my actual call log. Did not anticipate that but it might explain this as well.
I wouldn’t use this one again and would be very careful when downloading another.

I am so glad I am a skeptical person, I downloaded SecondPhoneNumber and while I was waiting for it to complete I figured I would read some reviews. Honestly I don’t see how they are rated a 4.0 and I was just about to trust them with my business. In most of the reviews I noticed red flags like con artists, scam, overcharge, hidden fees, over priced, lack of customer service, sneaky, false advertising and so on. I also noticed you must pay for a subscription then pay for minutes on top of that. This is almost 2020 no one uses minutes anymore. GET THEM OFF SecondPhoneNumber STORE!

I initially signed up with a number but found another one that would fit my business better. However, I can’t get these guys to a erase the previous number that I added and it still shows up. I sure hope I’m not getting charged double for that number. I’ve asked them to delete it/remove it multiple times, even attempted myself. But, they can’t seem to get their act together and actually remove it. What gives?

Okay ty just got a call back from my friend that said she is just trying out for the 2nd phone number and she’s said that it is just fine

There is not a clear way to cancel the service. I have been through SecondPhoneNumber 10x’s trying to figure out how to cancel. If you have to hide how to cancel your service it speaks volumes about the product and company behind the product. Shady and sneaky.

Love the ease with which I acquired a new number and it actually worked. But I can’t find a reason to pay you guys a subscription if I still need to pay for credits; which, by the way, are extremely expensive considering that Each text cost around 5 credits. And the calls even more.

You guys lack transparency. If you’re asking for a subscription, that subscription should be enough to make calls. Not to just reserve a number.

Second phone has given me the ability to do my job, without revealing my number. Also I can stay connected to friends, but only ones that can be trusted to know my second number.

The title clearly says it all this is the most easy to use SecondPhoneNumber of all the secondary number apps of use and I use mine every day. Most cost efficient also.

Haven’t even used it and I already hate it. Forked over $60 for a 12 month subscription and once I start using it, I come to find I only get 10 minutes and 30 messages. That’s supposed to last me a whole year? I don’t think so. But not to worry....if I want more, I can fork over additional money for that priviledge. Why wasn’t this stated up front? Scam. State the price to use SecondPhoneNumber up front or get off SecondPhoneNumber Store. I may go to Apple on this one.

The description for SecondPhoneNumber states you can use it as your phone number for Uber, but that is a lie. Uber’s app doesn’t allow numbers from apps like this and blocks them from their system so you can’t sign up unless you are using an actual legit cell phone number. Many other apps and companies are aware of apps like this and aren’t allowing phone numbers from their system either.

SecondPhoneNumber cancelled my account/number so I was unable to use it because I typed “boobs” multiple times and they said that didn’t comply with their policy...LOL who knew that word was so offensive when being repeated multiple times. Now today I get charged for the subscription renewal and I can’t even use the number or SecondPhoneNumber .....ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????????? Love ethical companies that have a moral compass 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 BRAVO scammers

With SecondPhoneNumber you can actually get a good reception on texts and phone calls top apps the phone calls lag very much

Tried making a phone call a few times. The line never dialed the number;it immediately exited dial pad page ;and started from the home screen .
Also I tried texting the # they gave me on multiple phone numbers and they never went through.
And to wrap it up , all those attempted phone calls and texts used up the minutes i paid for ($3.99).

So, I didn’t even know I was being charged until I was try to buy another app and saw that I was subscribed. I’d deleted SecondPhoneNumber and wasn’t aware that there was a subscription. I used SecondPhoneNumber for 4 minutes and then changed my mind.

I need to check my account to see if they’ve been charging me $7.99 a week, because that’s what the cost is for a one week subscription.

Really cool second phone number app! I recommend this application to everyone! I really like it, thanks to the developers!

SecondPhoneNumber is a very tricky app, they stylishly take money for everything you have to do, even after buying credits you can’t do anything until you subscribe to SecondPhoneNumber ..ripping off people’s money from them
So why is SecondPhoneNumber actually useful if you have to pay for everything, it’s better you just buy a second real phone and forget about this useless app
