Best $5 for a College Student to Spend

I’ve tried a number of free photo-to-pdf apps before for classes that really didn’t function well. I loved this one so much after the free trial that I bought the lifetime access. The “scanner” is so useful. I just take a photo of a paper and it shows up like a real scan would. Much easier than taking photos, putting them in a word document and then saving as a pdf. If you’re dealing with online work/school right now, this is worth every cent! Wish I found it sooner.

This is not free

PhotosPDF is not free to use indefinitely but purported to be free. I had made 2/3 pdfs for practice and to know how it works. Then I decided to use PhotosPDF on my exam where I have to submit my answers script in pdf format within a short period of time. The worst thing happened then; I finished my exam and then I was left with only 5 minutes to take pictures and make pdf and finally submit it to my teacher; PhotosPDF suddenly showed that I couldn’t send pdf unless I pay $4.99 ; I was shocked and at the same time couldn’t install another app within that rush period. Had I known in advance that PhotosPDF is not free, I would not have relied on PhotosPDF and could have arranged alternative options. PhotosPDF should have mentioned this payment issue earlier.

Perfect PDFs in Seconds

I have never written an app review before today. After spending hours last week trying to find a use-your-phone-as-scanner app when trying to submit a paper job application by e-mail, I was delighted to discover that PhotosPDF does EXACTLY what I need —and it’s as simple as snapping a photo and hitting “send.” Today I had to send a PDF of my electricity bill to a distributor in order to get bids from potential providers. I’ll be saving almost 45% a month on power now, and hopefully he’ll be referring future customers to PhotosPDF.

Great Product - $4.99 a bargain

So PhotosPDF is only 4.99 for a lifetime subscription. I went to the competitor and most are charging $40 a year. I was blown away. This seriously beats the competition by a mile. For the people complaining they got scammed because they the it was free need to realize that it is free to download. If you scroll down on PhotosPDF page it tells you it’s $4.99. So many dumb people posting bad reviews because they don’t know what they are talking about. Thank you for being honest and charging a fair price.

I Love this App

I am not a person who typically writes reviews but I just had to For PhotosPDF. I would recommend PhotosPDF to anybody because it really helped me. I am looking for a job desperately and have no money and in order to be able to upload a resume easily to many places it had to be in pdf format and all the other apps wanted to charge for it and I was losing hope until I run across PhotosPDF that let me convert my resume to pdf for FREE. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much it meant to me to find PhotosPDF ❤️

Finally!!!

Every once in a while I have a need to convert multiple photos of documents into Book format. For years I’ve been struggling with all forms of PDF “converters” that are written in convoluted squirrel hunt formats with ongoing $50 yearly fees. Every time I had to use them was another hour of memory recall adventure in “OK, what step do I need to take now?”
I downloaded Photos to PDF after photoing multiple pages of a patent I wanted to file.
Bada bing bada boom. It was done. Five bucks and it’s mine... forever.

Love This App

Seriously the best app of its kind that I’ve found so far, creating PDFs is simple and fast. No glitches, doesn’t kick you out at a certain like several of the others I’ve tried. For a free PDF converter it doesn’t get any better. The quality and functionality is superb and and have recommended this to my co-workers. Any tool/app that helps you succeed in your line of work is worth giving a pat on the back. Keep on keepin on!

Better than Google Photos

We use iPads to photograph job sites and provide marked up equipment installation instructions for our installers. Then upload the photos to the main office. We switched from Google photos to JPG to PDF because it is much easier to verify that the home office received the uploaded marked up photos. We were able to eliminate several time consuming steps in our verification process by using the JPG to PDF app. It works seamlessly with PDF Expert.

After many converter apps this is the ONE

In my work I need to present facts with supporting documentation and pictures. After trying the free version I was very impressed with the ease in converting pictures in to .pdfs and the quality of the converted pictures. I have tried other apps that were suitable but not nearly as well as PhotosPDF. I bought the very reasonable $4.99 lifetime license and highly recommended PhotosPDF.

Amazing App!

I work in Insurance, and handle many policyholder claims. Many of my ph’s are not good with technology, and often take photos of their claim paperwork to send to me. Most are terrible photos. PhotosPDF has helped me take those photos, turn them into b&w, allow me to adjust the contrast and brightness, arrange the pages in whichever order I want, name the file and email off as a pdf doc for claim handling. No annoying ads or offers! Does what says and does it good!

Simple, easy to use, good UI

Thank you for a nicely designed app. The UI is pleasant, easy to use, concise. I tried a couple other apps before purchasing and the others were nagging to buy on almost every screen for $20+, and complicated. I tried a couple documents and yours worked smoothly. You’re not greedy, just a simple 1X $4.99 purchase to do what I need, combine photos of documents into a single PDF file. Thanks again.

I’ve been looking for this app!

I have been looking for a way to take a few photos of documents and combine them into a PDF. This could not have been easier! I love the simple interface. I will probably use this every day and I am more than happy to pay $4.99 one time for unlimited use of PhotosPDF . That’s a bargain compared to other apps that wanted much more or even a monthly fee. A big “thank you” to the developers!

By

Absolutely perfect!

I downloaded several that didn’t work, I didn’t understand or just wanted to make you spend money and made this complicated but this one is quick, easy, does exactly what it says and no demands for you to pay! But I’m so happy it worked I would be willing to pay because it was so simple! I have spent hours searching and this is the first one that does what it says! Thank you so much!!

Fast & Easy

Fast download from PhotosPDF Store, easy to use and send docs equally as fast. Things do not usually operate this easily....recommend downloading and using. Going to look into it more and will probably upgrade if there is an option to do so. If it is this easy my guess is that this has more functionality and is easy to use as well. Great App!

Good App.

I needed to quickly create a pdf for an important event using my screenshots. The other apps wanted me to pay ridiculous amounts of money for something that wasn’t even worth. Not sure if PhotosPDF requires for you to pay for some things but, I was able to make a pdf out of more than 50 screenshots from my camera roll. Overall great app. :)

Does exactly what you need it to.

I was working on a resume app, but didn’t like the color scheme. Unfortunately, when I used a photo edit app to edit said scheme, it put it into .jpg format, and obviously that doesn’t work as good as having your resume in .pdf format.

Enter PhotosPDF.

Nice and simple, I used PhotosPDF to put my edited resume back into .pdf format in just a few super easy steps. Glad I found this. 👍

Bait and Switch Tactics

PhotosPDF is quite misleading. Yes, it’s simple as 1, 2, 3, but once you’ve spent time converting your jpeg to pdf format and then you want to upload the new pdf they ask you to pay $4.99 first. Well..., why didn’t the Developer be honest and sell it for the $4.99 up front and not try to put the pinch on you later.

This is a very deceiving business practice. In business this process is called “Bait and Switch”. They say PhotosPDF is free and then charge your later. This is dishonesty to the full App Store community. Nothing is mentioned about the $4.99 in PhotosPDF description. And later they sock it to you!!!

I’m deleting their app.

Great App for $5

PhotosPDF lets you send a few PDFs for free, then asks you to pay. I think PhotosPDF is probably the best, smoothest PDF app out there. PhotosPDF is mostly meant for camera roll or scanning documents, but for what it does it’s worth it. It compiles all the pictures into one whole PDF which is what I needed for my assignment. PhotosPDF picks up where the notes app puts down.

Exactly what I was looking for

PhotosPDF is quick and easy to use. I needed an app that converted jpgs to PDFs and it took me seriously 2 days of searching to find PhotosPDF. There’s no subscription to sign up for or ads that get in the way. With two taps your app converts my pics into PDFs and has helped me confidently put my resume and cover letter out on the job market so thank you!!!!! I will be upgrading to PRO as soon as I can

One Of The Best PDF & Scanner Apps Out There!

If you need to scan or make PDF’s with ease, look no further because PhotosPDF has got to be the absolute best! I’ve been using it for a few years and it’s simple and easy. I never take the time to type a review let alone give it 5 stars, but PhotosPDF is the best! Thank you to the creators who created this! You Are Thee Best!

Jpeg to PDF awesomeness!!!

I don’t have a fax and I needed to send back some signed paperwork. This worked great. No cheesey gimmicks. I selected two photos from my phone library (or take a pic) selected the margin spacing and orientation of my pic and clicked PDF. It can’t get much easier. Totally would buy. I didn’t even have to wait. I had it done in seconds and sent it off in an email. Great job you guys!!!

Barely makes it a “high quality” pdf

Wanted to use my phone to convert photo to pdf instead of using my laptop. Found PhotosPDF and tried the free version first then upgraded to pro for 5bucks seeing if there would be more clarity in the pdf, but there’s barely a difference. Can this be fixed in the future updates? I do like that you only have to pay one time, not do a monthly/annual subscription 🙄
But the resolution is probably one thing that is a major letdown.

Stop Searching

Looking for a truly FREE pdf converter from your IOS device? Seriously don’t do what I did and cycle through 10+ apps that made me think I was going to be able to convert files into a PDF (including Adobe’s “free” 2GB *lies* cloud storage) for the past 30 minutes. Seriously save yourself the hassle and download it, it’s a no frills app just for converting.

Excellent .

Works great . Uploaded my pdf to my google drive no problem . Took 237 pictures of all pages of my favorite book , converted to pdf , sent to my drive and now I have my
Own kindle version of the book on my phone available at any time to download and read . Better then carrying the hard copy around . Love PhotosPDF .

Does not crop out margins

I tried a test with a magazine, took a photo and tried to convert it to pdf. It does convert photos to pdf, but makes no attempt to remove extra margins and emulate a document scanner. Granted I did not really expect it to, but I thought I would share for anyone else looking for this feature. Keep looking... it does convert photos to pdf though!

Finally one that works!

I’ve been trying to figure out how to convert multiple images into a pdf for days now! I’ve tried other apps but none of them worked the way I wanted them to. PhotosPDF provides such an easy-going and seamless experience with perfect execution.

Actually free and works perfectly

This is the fourth free app I downloaded. The other three made you pay as much as $30 before you could save your PDF. PhotosPDF converted 3 photos to a 3 page PDF and I was able to email it from PhotosPDF , in just a few seconds and with no sneaky charges. Thanks :)
