Voice Recorder Recording Reviews

Im not sure what happened but I thought i was recording 1hr worth of material. When I was finished i noticed it stopped recording after 3mins. Very disappointed and annoyed

Emailed twice as I couldn’t figure out how I could download recordings for email archive. I stressed I had a legal case pending and no response. I waited a total of 3 weeks, not a response. I did finally figure out that using a web address allowed me to download however I followed the instructions and clicked download. Guess what? Nothing. No FAQ,s. I even created a family account for my phone and I pad and guess what? NOTHING!!!!!! Court is tomorrow. I’m embarrassed. I had to record it with a separate device and replay the whole thing! X 2

My first couple times using it, it was great and amazing. However I use VoiceRecorderRecording to record the teacher when there going over answers so that I can correct my work at home but after the first few times recording.... I went home to listen to the recordings and they were all cut up and impossible to hear.... very disappointed and would not recommend downloading.

VoiceRecorderRecording crashes whenever I try to play my recording. The five star reviews are a result of them telling customers they have to do 5 star reviews to unlock features. The whole app is buggy, it doesn't have all the features it says it has, and the file transfer between computer and mobile device doesn't work. Please don't waste your time, these app developers are scumbags

I was trying to figure out why VoiceRecorderRecording wasn’t working. It would glitch every time I tried to open it, I had been using VoiceRecorderRecording for 2 years now and it worked well before and stopped working for me currently. What I found from others was they had to give a 5 star review in order for VoiceRecorderRecording to work again? Well it better work after this review...

Still didn’t work. It really needs to be fixed and giving a good review doesn’t help so...

Developer requires the user to leave a "five star" review in order to gain access to the advanced features. Turns out you can leave a review of any number of stars, or just not leave one at all. I'm leaving one star because it's bad practice to try to trick people like that.

As far as the actual app goes? Pretty plain, basically zero options. I'm going to delete it right after this and try something else.

I don't write reviews very often, but I'm not crazy about VoiceRecorderRecording. The first time I used it, the recording was lost, and I'm still at a loss for what happened. I politely emailed their contact (twice) and never heard back. VoiceRecorderRecording is honestly really awkward to me. You have to end the recording and then save it to keep it, unlike most recording apps that just end with one action. I feel like it's really easy to miss a step and lose what you were getting. The voice to text feature was really finicky and couldn't get through the whole recording, so it's hardly an upside. The most obnoxious feature however are all the ads. Every other time I went to the playback menu, I had to watch an ad video first, and it was really tedious (and eventually kind of infuriating). I've been testing a lot of recorder apps lately, and this is by far my least favorite. The design is awkward, clunky and confusing, the recordings are unreliable, and the ads are excessive. I definitely don't recommend it. If you're looking for a good recording app, my favorite by far has been the one by Jiabin Ye (has the white squiggle on a blue background). This one though--definitely not worth your time.

VoiceRecorderRecording does an okay job of recording, but none of its other advertised features can be found anywhere. No speech to text feature anywhere. It gives you a way of renaming audio files, but next time you look at the audio file, it has reverted to the random alphanumeric name given by VoiceRecorderRecording . Disappointing at best.

A warning to anyone who decides to use VoiceRecorderRecording: if you rename your files to names containing any kind of emoji (at least the green checkmark emoji, and I assume this would happen with every other emoji), your files will become corrupted. You won't be able to do anything with them but delete them.
Just letting everyone know. Other than that one error, it is a really good app, and it's simple enough and not too complicated. I'm able to find out where all the options and functions are at first glance, and I appreciate that in a voice recording app.

I couldn’t rename a file I created. I’d type in file name and save. It showed up until I did something else and then my name would be deleted and the file would show up as a generic file. I think I’ll find another app. This one doesn’t seem worth the trouble. If I can’t name my files it’s just not acceptable.

Well first, it’s a “ok” app, but when I tried to hear my recorder voice sometimes it glitches out and just exit VoiceRecorderRecording immediately. I get really mad when that happens. So, when you update VoiceRecorderRecording remember to fix the glitches. And the reason why I choose 3 stars is, first, it’s glitchy, second, it’s not a great app but it’s an “ok” app and finally, third, it needs a major update and fixes to VoiceRecorderRecording. I’m not saying its a bad app, I’m just saying it needs to be updated and some fixes needs to fixed. But overall everything else is fine. Oh and always trying to hear my voice muffled a little, but now it’s ok, but I think that will need a little fixing on it, too. So, yeah, it’s a good app overall, like I said just needs a few fixes and updates but everything else is good.

There is a text limit to these reviews and the developer holds users hostage from their content to trick others into using this vaporware. You're what's wrong with the future of technology Jianxing Lin. You are a horrible coder who should go back to serving fries and beating your cat at night.

So. I couldn't figure out how to get that feature until I came back and read it in a review. Maybe I missed it in the description , and I don't know where the instructions are .....otherwise it is great, beautiful sound quality and easy to use.... I got it so I could say a bunch that I didn't want to test out by hand....it hurts my should to type so much!
I'll let you know if giving this review unlocks the text icon (makes it show up on my screen when I swipe on the recording in its list )

I'm excited about trying the conversion to texting. I'm hearing impaired and this should be perfect for me especially when I'm having difficulty understanding the caller on the other end. Will I be able to turn recorder on as I'm talking to someone on the phone?

Didn't know I had to write a review with 5 stars in order to get the features - so I don't know anything about VoiceRecorderRecording until I hit the submit button on this review besides the fact that it has a record button

So, it looks like I have to write a review and give it 5 stars so I can get the voice to text functionality.
If this works, I'll write another review, and if it doesn't work you'll hear about that too.

I need the advertised features, and I understand I may only access them by writing a review. VoiceRecorderRecording works quickly but has a lot of ads (including video?!) and crashes when navigating.

Looking forward to using VoiceRecorderRecording more & excited about the voice to text feature

VoiceRecorderRecording is great and has amazing sound quality and even lets you have a password to protect each voice memo BUT... In order to get all of the features you have to write a review, but the main part of VoiceRecorderRecording works no matter what.
