The riders/delivery man accepts the order without knowing the location of customers. It always creates a problem because when we are hungry and already placed the order, waiting for food after 10-20mins the delivery man who accepted my order calls and tells me that he cant bring my food for certain reasons like:
> its too far from my zone area
> i cant come this far to deliver food for only 30-40tk
> the restaurant is taking too long to make the food i have to cancel your order
And every time i order food from this app i have to order atleast 3times because 2 or more delivery man has cancelled my order already for different reasons. This is straight out harassment for the customers. Also the delivery mans are sometimes rude and whenever i call customer service nothing changes. I had to waste hours on this useless irritating app on an empty belly.
Please try to upgrade your services and the app. Why does a customer has to place an order for 3-4times ? Cant this issues be solved?
Their should a system where riders can see the address before confirming the order.
And if a delivery man cancels an order after accepting it the order placed by the customer should be automatically transferred to another deliver man. Why does the customer has to go through the same process of ordering again and again the same food? And Why do i have to get harassed like this everytime i order ? i get canceled by 2delivery man atleast.

I have been using Pathao now and then since past few years now. The experience has been okayish so far.
It’s time to say Goodbye for me considering the business model that this company is adopting to which is financially hurting if nothing else.
The office hour rates and rates after 5PM from Point A to Point B (I’ve set two locations so there is no chance of even an error of 10 meters) fluctuates crazy…
I get rates between two same points around 8:30 AM fluctuating from 122 to 147 rupees. Sure this company carried a trend of such business in Kathmandu but some other platforms offer a much more to me as a consumer.
Haven’t seen Pathao improve lately… It’s not about user experience for them anymore, it’s only about printing more money !

I ordered food via the Pathao app, the restaurant mentioned the ordered food has never been a not part of their menu (then why was it on the app?). I asked them to give other dishes except the unavailable one, and they agreed. Half an hour later, when I called to check, the rider said Pathao office will cancel the order and I could reorder again - but they didn’t cancel it for the next 2 hours so basically I couldn’t order any food from that restaurant that night. What’s worse, nobody was available to speak at Pathao helpline or live chat or anywhere at 9PM! Nobody has even reached out to me yet with an apology for that mishap. Completely rubbish service and utterly disappointed.
