Reach: Fast SMS Text and Email Reviews

I am a student pastor in a church of around 120, 20-25 of those being students between 6th grade and graduation. I was using our church management software to send mass texts, but it was very cumbersome, would not send the message if it was over 160 characters, could not attach images to the message, and most importantly the text came from a five digit number that wasn’t mine, and I couldn’t see responses if the responded directly to the message.

Then I found this app, it comes from my number, (which I was already using Google voice) and it will interact with students who don’t have cellphone numbers through WhatsApp and iMessage! Brilliant! Worth $5 a month! $60/year out of my student ministry budget to have meaningful personal messages to my students that will actually engage with is a small price to pay for the flexibility and results!

My one suggestion, give us a feature update to Reach , that if we are using iMessage to contact someone, we have the ability in Reach to choose which email or number it comes from without having to go to the iOS settings! But even this is just a very small inconvenience!

I installed Reach in a desperate moment to get a group text out asap. I just downloaded it and jumped in. After downloaded, I tested it on family to see how it works. I wanted to be sure their return messages didn’t go to a group but just to me. Yes!! They only come to me!! But, I was super disappointed that you have to press OK for every contact in your group. Then I watched the video and it showed me how Reach puts their name into every message so it is personal!! Exactly what I wanted, but wasn’t aware it could be done so easy. After making my very large group, I sent a message. Inside info, after 8 contacts I had to purchase premium which was worth it. I have 96 contacts! It’s been 6 hours of download and use. And so far, SO GOOD!!!

I contacted Customer Support with a problem in the way my messages appeared for sending after I installed iOS 13.2. They immediately responded and after some info exchange and troubleshooting, determined it was a 13.2 problem but they gave me some nice workarounds and suggestions. Absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!

Reach is perfect for me also. I like to send an encouraging Word text to a goodly number of my friends and family every day and if they respond with a need or comment, have it come back to me only. Before this app I was sending over 50 individual texts a day so imagine my delight at discovering this app! It saves me over an hour a day of being glued to my phone and lots of other hassles. So thank you this app and customer support team!!!

I recently asked this app customer support about an issue I was having with my iMessages, which turned out to be an Apple related issue. this app responded to me within the hour on a weekend!

The this app staff was very helpful with providing information on how to resolve and also prevent iMessage errors. Although my problem resulted in an Apple issue, nothing to do with the this app app, I was very impressed with this app and how they cared and provided information.

Additionally, they went that extra step and followed up with me to make sure my messages were fixed and working properly.

I use Reach for my business and it is great! I’m really happy with this app and how it has allowed me to organize my customers and potential customers. I am grateful for the staff for also providing me support and tips to keep Reach working smoothly even when my phone was not working properly.

I highly recommend Reach if you need to communicate with a group at once. You can personalize it and when they respond it just goes to you, not the group. And it is easy to use and fast. Thank you for all the support this app! I love Reach and kudos for great customer service.

After using this application just one time, my iMessage stopped working and my FaceTime doesn’t connect to my phone number anymore. It’s been a week that I’m trying to fix it and apple customer service did everything and finally I was told that this application has made this issue . Even I uninstalled the application and factory reset my iPhone but still the problem is not fixed.

Update: the customer service from this app sent me an email and explained where the issue comes from. Apparently I need to fix it through Apple customer service and it doesn’t have anything with Reach.

10/10 recommend if you want to this app a large audience at a very low cost. You can contact hundreds of people in less than an hour.... It actually adds their name and another sentence (Relationship) of your choosing to each message -all on its own- , as an example.. you can put separate addresses in the Relationship section. to It gives the option to upload a CSV file with phone numbers and emails of the people you would like to market to. I use ListSource to get my list of leads then have that skip traced, and then finally put those numbers into the CSV file and upload it to Reach.

After a frustrating experience this morning when an unexpected bug kept Reach from working when I needed it desperately and I didn’t get an immediate response from support, I left a less-than-glowing review. Then Sergio from support worked diligently with me all day until the problem was resolved and then compensated me for my time and frustration with a subscription discount so I am revising my review. As the president of a nonprofit organization, I use the heck out of Reach to keep our members informed, enthusiastic and engaged. Being able to send group texts personalized for each recipient and then get individual responses without a text explosion for every recipient is priceless!

I deleted all my social media because of the privacy concerns and I asked people to go on my website this link below to add their phone number email address and name but I couldn’t figure out how to mass text/mass email everybody until I searched on the Apple App Store for your app I paid the $4.99 subscription for your service I’m using it to promote my music and promote my merchandise to my contacts I get more engagement via text message And email versus social media where it gets lost it’s like having my own super phone thank you so much for creating Reach for an affordable price

And that is why I decided on an app that sends texts. This does cut the time way down as you don’t have to copy and paste every the message to every person/customer. You just have to hit send repeatedly. At first this seems annoying, but so far I haven’t found a way of sending a mass text any faster. I usually send a message to around 150 people it takes about 2 mins to send them all. If you have a lot more people to send texts to, then this might not be the way to go unless you have a dedicated texting line and some patience.

This is a great product. Buy it. It did exactly what it was supposed to and nearly without a hitch. We recently had a group of 28 students and teachers visiting our community from France. They were staying with host families and traveling into the city nearly daily. It was necessary to keep the host families updated regularly with reminders and schedule changes. This program proved invaluable to accomplish that. While the exchange program was run well, Reach made all the difference. All of the host families are talking about how wonderful it was to be kept informed and we could not have done it without Reach.

I have to send out several messages each day to around 30 people. I always dreaded that task. I’ve searched for websites that would allow me to send everything at once, but didn’t find a good one with out them charging more than it was worth. Finally I thought to give Reach Store a shot. I downloaded a few different ones and the others got deleted for different reasons on day one. It takes me less than 30 seconds to send a message to everyone! The subscription cost is perfect! Well worth it! Great job with Reach!!

If you’ve made it this far, then you already understand that Reach allows you to send mass text messages without sending them as a part of a group message. You can also personalize these messages, by adding a recipient’s name or a nickname.
My opinion is that Reach is a must own. I use it at least once a week in order to schedule our weekly game night, sending about 40 messages relatively quickly.
The developer is also EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE- not only tackling glitches as soon as they appear, but also working to make Reach easier to use.

I was using a similar app that would randomly unlink people in my groups. After an exhausting time of repeated questions not being answered I began searching for a new program. this app has been very easy to use and is very reliable! With my small business it is so good to have a way to have all of my customers on one group, VIP customers on another, new customers on a third, and of course my team on their own group. I can add and take off people from the groups when needed.

I love Reach. I own a small business and managing relationship are key. I searched everywhere for a cost effective and efficient solution. this app made it easy. I first cleaned up my contacts in my phone making sure I had the spelling of names correct. It allowed me to use groups already created. And the BEST feature when I send out 500 text messages the receiver feels special because they don’t receive it as a mass text. And the price point is great. Thank you.

I am so excited to finally have this type of app! I was with a friend/colleague of mine the other day and she was talking about it and I was so so excited! I downloaded it immediately and I’ve started using it and I am loving everything about it! At first I was wondering why you had to send them separately but it makes so much sense! I just sent 28 text in less than 30 seconds-just awesome! I HIGHLY recommend this! Don’t even think about it, just download it right now!

I was extremely excited a about Reach (that I had to pay for to send to more than 8 people). Unfortunately it is a let down due to the fact that you still had to press send for each message 😩. I created a mass text message to 300+ ppl then had to press send 300+ times. Wasn't expecting that. What a nightmare to have to do that. I wouldn't have paid for it had I realized that. I also would like for there to be a select all option for all contacts in my phone vs having to manually press each contact that I want to add. If there is a work around for those issues then I would be happy to rate Reach 5 stars.

With people already feeling overwhelmed a simple text to your staff can put their mind at ease with some of the many questions that they have. this app allows me to do this within a minute to every single one of my staff it’s been a lifesaver. And the best part is that when people respond it’s not on the same thread so only you get the responses, people don’t have to worry about their phones blowing up.

I’ll tell you what an awesome app this has turned out to be! I had my doubts but it’s works great it’s only had a couple of hiccups. So if you’re looking for a app to send one text to a lot of people like I do this is Reach for you. I send a text out to about 110 people each day and since I’ve had this app it’s been probably a month or so, I think I’ve only had to like re-send maybe 15 or 20 of those messages, out of 3300 messages sent not bad, praise The Lord!

Reach is good. Great feature, great solution to a problem. It is a script that runs well, and is handy. It is NOT a SAS (software as service), and the entirety of its features can run locally on your phone. No server required. So why the premium charge?

I understand the developer being compensated for their work. But subscription implies cost of service, not cost of support. Considering I can subscribe to Adobe Photoshop for $9 a month, I can’t explain $5 a month for this applet. It seems that, as it’s the best option on the market, that the price is being driven by supply and demand (or simply greed).

I am so glad to have Reach. I can’t believe how easy it is to now send multiple private text’s without having to copy paste each one. I would have given a 5 star but I am not happy the way it displays my contacts when creating groups. They are quite jumbled up so I had to do a search on each contact to add them to a group. Maybe there is a work around but I tend to believe all parts of an app should work properly out of the box. Not s deal breaker though, I love all else about Reach!

While I really do love this app and it works reasonably well I’ve recently been having a problem with attachments. Any time I try to attach a photo and text only the photo will send. Other than that Reach is great for messaging large groups and works effectively, maybe a but slow at times.

I use Reach to this app out to customers about the same things so it’s awesome to have a template ready to go. Also, not having it just send right away and being able to add some personalized sentences to each message is very handy.

I reached out to them about something and got a response back within half a day with clear and concise instructions on how to do it.

Trust me it blows away the competition! Works well and is very reliable for personalized mass texting! To top it off, the developer is an extremely nice guy that loves feedback and goes the extra mile to take suggestions and comments into account. He is really trying to make Reach even better on a daily basis and that is very reassuring when you are paying for a product! Great work!

I send out many group texts every day. Reach I used for several years would not work with my new phone and I switched to another which was terrible and then to this app. It is easy, personalizes each text and sends individually-this makes responses private and do not ding everyone In The mailing list. When my phone crashed recently, Reach recovered my lists!i am a big fan of this app.

I was using Reach groups which is similar but had a lot of bugs and crashed every time I’d use it. this app has been great to use for categorizing clients into groups so I can message them a mass message individually. I love that you can back up your groups to a cloud and also it supports family app sharing so my wife and I don’t need to pay for two subscriptions.
