June 8th) was waiting on a couple in front of me, they wanted cash back, and I guess they did not do something right and she got very upset with them so the guy told her to get "F" and she in return told him to do the same!!! I do not feel that this employee should be talking to the customer for any reason like this, with all the crazy we have in this world this guy could have well pulled a gun and took us all out!! i tried to call your store to talk to a manager and this young lady answered twice and hung up on me saying that she was the only one working in the store, I would like to hear back from management as to if this is allow by your employees, as if it is then I'll not return to your store and make sure that many others hear my story. I love shopping at family dollar but the location I went to today always has the worst customer service ever the employees are always on their personal phones talking about their personal situations no one is ever working doing whatever they want. I went in and had some coupons which the worker said he applied to my purchases when I loaded up my car and looked at the receipt I noticed he did not so I went back in to talk to the guy and he had no clue what I was talking about there was another employee who was super nice trying to explain to him on how to do everything and he paid no mind and didn’t care and told the manager to come take a look the manager did not care he was standing to the side on his cell phone talking about personal business and just told the guy I had to go get everything from my car and return it because they couldn’t give me the discount from the coupons and walked away continuing his conversation on the phone I told them to return my items and I was no longer interested in giving them my business or money anymore. I work in retail as well and know we have to do anything it takes to resolve a issue and not be on personal calls during working hours especially as a manager. This is the worst experience I’ve had anywhere

AT FIRST, I had given this app 5 stars. However, now I am noticing issues for example I scanned every arm and hammer liquid detergent the store had to see if it would match my coupon and it said t wasn’t compatible. I tried every size and scent and IT WOULD NOT WORK. I double checked everything looked through all fine print and it wouldn’t work. The store is often misleading about what it has on coupon sale. It says this week we could get gain dryer sheets for a final price of 95 cents with app coupon so I go and look and there is no coupon for that but it’s advertised in the flyer for this week. I may just have to go back to Walmart if this keeps up. I loved the app but if I’m not saving money anymore there is no point. Sorry Family Dollar, DO BETTER PLEASE!!!!
OLD REVIEW This is a great app but prices in the store are so high it basically just makes the items the same prices as other stores. Sometimes they’re still more but it’s convenient if you don’t want to enter Walmart. I have never had any problems with the app as far as it working. There is even a scan button to make sure a certain coupon will work in the store. Super easy to use the app.

One day the store manager didn’t know how to work the app in a iPhone. Lost the clipping and told me she couldn’t do anything about it. She stated the customers are never right. She stated she didn’t care who I called she wasn’t going to honor the mistake she made. So with that being said. I have to drive additional 25 mins to go to the store I have always went to since I was 4. I’m very disappointed in the store in Opelika Alabama. The manager name is Fre. She also called her “General Manager” Stacy (I think) that was locates in church to verify that customers are not right and family dollar or any can’t correct the issue. I’ve been in customer service since I were 15 and never have I told an customer their wrong. I was saddened at the training this Manager showed. She told me disrespectful remarks. Please look into this. I rated it an 2 for the customer service not the app or store. Only for the management at the store.
