I downloaded GagaOOLala after watching a preview for a movie that apparently is exclusive to GagaOOLala . Unfortunately I won’t be watching the movie after all. The trailer has no audio and I don’t know if the movie will because I won’t pay to watch something that I might not be able to hear. I checked other trailers and shows on GagaOOLala - some have audio and some do not so I know it is not an issue with my device. Another unfortunate thing about GagaOOLala is that most content is locked behind a paywall, which would be fine if the cost wasn’t so high for what you get. The subscription cost is several dollars more per month than other, similar apps. Also, their claim that this is the only app to watch LGBTQ films and shows out of Asia is a blatant lie...Viki Rakuten, Line TV, even iQiyi...all have LGBTQ content from Asia. And those are just the ones that I have subscriptions to. I’ll be skipping the movie that I wanted this for and uninstalling GagaOOLala .

I was using this and and it going well and I loved it But then when I would pay it wouldn’t let me watch anything vip so I contacted and got my money I did what they said to do delete my second account so once my subscription went through it still wouldn’t let me watch anything so I’m waiting for my money back and I’m deleting GagaOOLala for good it has to many issues

Good selection of things to watch no Apple TV app. I hate having to AirPlay from my phone to the Apple TV. Makes me use GagaOOLala less then I want too.

I did the upgrade but it still won’t let me watch some videos I even tired to watch a other video but still won’t let me........

I’ve been using GagaOOLala for a few weeks, and I even subscribed. It’s been going well so far, but I have some “issues”, if you will. Is there going to be an option in the future to cast to Devices like Chromecast? I know AirPlay is an option, but it’s only wanting to link to my speakers in my living room. Also, I don’t like how it doesn’t save where you are at. For instance, I could stop for some reason in the middle of an episode, but if I try to go back, it doesn’t pick up where I left off, it would start the episode over or it wouldn’t register that the episode has been completed or started or anything like that. I think those would really enhance the user experience. Otherwise, the quality is good and subtitle are great and not for a terrible price either!

I’ve been going back and forth about upgrading then after I did I realized the captions don’t play over AirPlay. Defeats the purpose entirely. I hope this can be fixed. Maybe I’m missing something.

GagaOOLala is great but sometimes the play button does not disappear. Another issue is I keep getting booted off GagaOOLala . I tried turning my phone off and on but it’s still doing that. I don’t think GagaOOLala is fully prepared for people to be paying $8 per month

I just purchased the VIP subscription and it said I was all set… two seconds later it’s says an error occurred when I’ve already been deducted

I cancel the subscription and then subscribe again and the same thing happened and I’ve been deducted again !!!

Please look into it !!!!!

Tried it for a month because there was a show i really wanted to watch. Casting from phone is cumbersome and shaky. Great start but if they want to compete they need to get an ATV app like Viki.

I love GagaOOLala because I can see so many BL dramas but… when you cast certain shows to the tv the subtitles are about 15 - 30 seconds behind what is being said onscreen. Example: it is happening now as I am watching LA Cuisine. So I am going to have to watch on my iPad instead. Can someone fix that please?

GagaOOLala is wonderful for content! It is would be great if there was a way to merge any accounts using the same email. As I unintentionally created three logins which technically is still using the same email. User interface is good on GagaOOLala sometimes it would be great to have an app the is compatible with Smart TVs and streaming devices versus having to constantly cast to another device.

I started using GagaOOLala in mid 2021 however I ended up canceling my subscription shortly after in September 2021. However, as I canceled my subscription MONTHS AGO… I am being charged as of (December of 2021). Why am I still being charged when I’ve already canceled my subscription MONTHS PRIOR. I hope I wasn’t billed even after I been canceled my subscription. This is not okay and someone needs to either fix this and make sure my cancellation is final or give me a refund…..

GagaOOLala is good and I’ve been watching a lot of the free content and I really enjoy it but there’s one problem, the little triangle play button won’t go away while I’m watching the show. I don’t know if it’s just me experiencing this issue but it’s kind of distracting and I can deal with it being there but I’d much rather not have a big triangle in the middle of the screen while I’m trying to watch a show. Is there a way to fix this? Other than this is great, and considering how much I love LGBTQ+ shows, this is a great streaming app for me!

First of all, I love this app. But… I can only watch it from my phone. If I try to stream it, to my TV, it always stops playing and alerts me to an “unexpected error”. Not to mention, there are NO SUBTITLES when I stream. NONE. Not even if I watch it through my browser and try to stream it. It’s beyond frustrating. I really want to give this a 5 star rating. But, with those major issues, and being a Premium subscriber, I can’t. I cannot even begin to describe how sad I am about it. If those issues are fixed, I will change my rating and review.

GagaOOLala is great with a lot of good shows, but I wish I could stream it on chromcast from GagaOOLala .

Update: Air cast and chromecast are two different streaming platforms. Air cast is with Apple TV. I don’t have that I have a chromecast which is a different system. I am saying I wish stream was available for all types of casting devices.

Great app love that you’re giving a platform to a whole bunch of film makers and sharing shows for international fans to watch. However the subs can be edited a bit better. Also a fast forward and backwards button would be nice to add. Thanks for all the hard work on GagaOOLala .

Hey guys, I really enjoy your app but you guys need to add "download" button so we can still enjoy this amazing app offline. i travell a lot, it would be helpful if I'm on a plane or if i'm in the place where the service isn't available.

The selection is incredible, no complaints there. My biggest problem is that it’s difficult to rewind if I missed something while watching. In other apps, you can usually rewind like 10 or 15 seconds which is actually helpful because sometimes I might miss the subtitles. If that was added then GagaOOLala would be perfect, honestly.

I skimmed over the reviews, but decided to still give GagaOOLala a chance despite the comments. To be honest, I’m pleasantly surprised. I love the suggestions and how they’re clearly labeled if it’s an app exclusive or not. No complaints ♥️

Big fan of BL and this gives me all that and more. I do admit there are some titles unfortunately that aren’t on GagaOOLala here in the USA which is a bummer but all in all it’s well worth the monthly fee 😉

I paid for a monthly subscription to GagaOOLala. I went today to watch a movie and was informed that I needed to upgrade to VIP. I was a VIP member. So they took my money and then decided to cancel my subscription. I have cancelled my subscription and will be deleting GagaOOLala.

It’s $7.99 a month to access their library. There is a tiny portion of free content, and none of this is what is advertised. Absolutely not worth it.

As both an Apple TV & Firestick user I’m greatly annoyed there is NOT an app for either.

AirPlay keeps me from using my phone and you can’t ‘cast’ to FireStick from an Apple device nor can you Screen Mirror GagaOOLala to an Android type TV.
