First - This game is basically impossible to really enjoy without spending some real money. You could spend hours watching videos to get “fish dollars” - thirty seconds for one - or spend your own money to get “fish dollars” - which go very quickly, breeding gets more and more expensive the higher the level you go.
Second - scroll through these reviews and find some of the developers responses. These people are rude and arrogant. I don’t want to give money to people like that. And I’m not saying that out of anger - I just discovered them now as I came to write my review.
Please - save yourself the frustration and just don’t bother with this game. Because once you start, you will find yourself quickly needing to spend money to continue. Because it is actually an enjoyable game. Just entirely too frustrating.

Well. I love FishFarm3. It’s the closest thing I will ever get to having a saltwater fish tank and it’s also a hell of a lot more ecofriendly... I just want a little more from this game to keep me obsessed with it. I want this game to actually teach me about keeping a saltwater fish tank by allowing me to be more Involved with the entire experience of owning a saltwater fish tank. I want to be able to design the tank itself and take care of every aspect of the tank as I learn how to keep fish and even corals alive! I want to be apart of the chemistry, saline ratios and water changes- I want to be able to buy a protein skimmer, UV lights, power flows, and filtration a systems! and I want to be able to grow corals in a more involved way- I also want to be able to see more views of the tank! This game is great but I want more!

I’ve had this game for a while now and enjoyed collecting all of the fish. I’m almost to level 70 and have never paid real money to get there. I’m pretty disappointed though to find out that once your fish are sick, you have to pay “cowry” bucks to revive them. I have a chronic illness and was sick, so I missed cleaning the tanks by only a few hours and now they’re all sick! I have over 80 fish and don’t have that many bucks to revive them (plus the sharks cost even more to heal) because I just spent them all to get another tank! It’s either give up and delete FishFarm3 or spend over an hour watching adds to earn bucks and if it’s anything like other in game adds, it will eventually tell me there are no more adds. There should really be another way to heal sick fish because this way is really unfair for people who have a large amount of them. 😢

This really is a 5 star game. It’s amazing. They get 1 star deducted automatically because of the way in app purchases affect the game. You know, when it starts to feel too much like real life trying to get ahead. Many games are like this. Many games aren’t 5 start games. It didn’t bother me too much actually. I even spent money (more than i usually do $6) and felt good because they made a high quality game. I stoped playing for a bit, my water hadn’t been changed soon enough and my fish are sick. Too be expected, but to cure them I need to spend cowries (this games version of high level currency. You know how in app purchase games use different currencies so that the systems get you to pay real money) it is extremely expensive. It really should be coins that you pay with. It makes me not want to play anymore because it’s stressful (like real life) you get that same feeling of being overcharged for medical expenses(like real life) and therefore I really don’t need that in a game. So they loose another star. I’m tempted to take another one away because I’m bitter that I felt good about giving them money only to find this out. But it actually is a really good game.
Its just a 10 dollar game. You gotta by the auto everything to prevent this. That’s kinda pricey for a mobile game...

Im surprised how good this game is for a casual game without a huge paywall, I like the little mini games included especially the “shallow run” which is a nice touch for a simple game, my only complaints is my current confusion with the jelly tank, Im unable to decorate so the fish health it negative but can’t buy anything but wallpaper and filters, the shallow run could use more work seems a bit bare and slow the other mini games are ok but no real payout to play unless you’re bored, my biggest complaint is every information bit takes you out of the game and to a HTML link, this is my biggest complaint Im tired of accidentally pressing the question mark and begin taken to a website please change this

I wish you could also catch whales, dolphins, sharks, seahorses, turtles, and rays because on the reef option you see an illustration of a huge whale along with the illustrations of the other fish you can catch but even after you unlock the ocean tanks and the whales, sharks, dolphins, and etc. you can NOT catch one in the game! The illustration is just misleading and if other players are like me it gets your hopes up just to be disappointed.😢
Another improvement that I would love would be the ability to transfer data from androids to iOS because I was happy to finally get an iPhone with better visuals just to realize that I couldn’t get back any of my progress I went from level 65 to level 0 when I have been playing fish farm since the very first game came out ( for YEARS)! It was just really discouraging, I almost didn’t want to play anymore but I guess because of the new 5x faster affect and the higher values on fish I’ve been leveling up pretty fast I’m currently on level 18 with 5 tanks ( I’d still prefer my previous game that I’ve worked so hard on . I can’t even have my ocean tanks and big fish like I used to😭)

But where’s the crustaceans? Where my crab boys at? And Narwhals? It’s 2020 narwhals are a given to be a fav! But outside of my aquatic animal complaints love the game little grindy but I dig it a way to make it less grindy could easily be fixed by upping the mini game xp/money multiplier. Ik ik in app purchases allow for it but I shouldn’t be forced to buy it in order for me to play the game I’ve put many hours into the game so far and it’s truly fun don’t let my over critic self tell you not to play it’s a great game this is just what I think it needs to be a great game! The rewardable breeds should change that way I have a better way of keeping track of the breeds I like I’d like to be able to breed a specific tetra or discus or arowana rather than the set ones in “my” so called collections which I do like the collection system! I feel it should be called something else like bounty’s or quests tho but back to the point if you have a species book that’d be perfect then everyone you make you can make again and add to your tank at a later date

This one of my favorite games to play, i often just sit down and watch the fish for a while. while the game is good, i would like some features to be added. Something that i want is glofish. Yes, the controversial GMO fish that glow bright in different colors, i would like to see them be added to the game, like maybe you could buy them in the market at level 5 or something or add a UI that could allow you to make certain species glow? Idk, but I would really like to see them come into the game. Another feature would be being able to catch ocean tank creatures. It would be nice to be able to catch ocean creatures for a tank so you don’t have to spend ridiculous amounts of money to buy them. I would also like more saltwater plants, so that i can have more lush looking saltwater aquariums. If these features were added, i would totally make this a five star review, but for now, i would give this a four star.

I used to own aquariums but it got to be too much work....now I can enjoy my fish all over again and I can even take them along with me! The ability to breed your own stock and create hybrids has been so much fun. Great game! I am so glad I found it!

UPDATE: I am 4 days into the game. I have NEVER spent money on any game, but this developer totally deserves to know that I will pay for quality.....and Fish Farm 3 is all of that and more!
I was able to acquire 3 tanks without spending a dime, but I am having so much fun and getting so obsessed with breeding certain lines of fish and I want to buy more tanks at a quicker rate, so it is with pleasure that I finally spend money and let the developers know how much I appreciate their efforts!

This is a really cool game if you like collecting all kinds of aquatic critters and designing your own tank :) Minus actually having to clean up irl after them. Reaching higher levels can take quite some time, but there’s also a massive array of neat looking fish, turtles, seahorses, & what have you to unlock. My one and only pet peeve with the game is that getting a doc to heal an aquarium full of ocean animals (sharks, dolphins, etc) is obscenely expensive. You’re better off just replacing them than healing what you’ve got in some cases. Being more generous with in game cash, or lowering the prices of doctor visits would really help. Still very worth playing though! Love taking care of the sharks!

Hey! I love animals,like fish,frogs,lizards,and all those. So I was excited to download FishFarm3. I think the game is absolutely perfect. And it’s relaxing to play. I DO wish that the shallow run mini game wasn’t so short. You should add a feature where you get to swim around in a coral reef with other fish. And rocks and other things wouldn’t end the game when you touch them. I absolutely LOVE swimming as the fish. So plz add this to the game.
BREEDING! I love the way breeding works!! The fish you can breed are amazing. They can be so pretty.
Okay, I’ve been wanting REAL fish for a long time now. And this game has been my ‘real fish’ this is a beautiful game. Thank you for making this wonderful app!

I’m in love 😍 with the game!!! Graphics are 100% amazing 😉 when you zoom they really hold up no glitches. Breeding is super fast, and the new ray update is so cool! One thing I would change is how you sell fish. I wish it was a multi player game. Like selling fish to a friend and you could see their aquariums and chat. Compete in shallow run with friends even trading fish, and selling each other fish. Also you should have to be at level five before you can send a link to a friend. And just people you know. So you have to have their phone number through messenger or something.
That is my only request multi player. Oh and let me say treating this game like you have real aquariums works better because your fish done go hungry. Feed them before bed and in the morning and after noon. (Normal fish keeping) I also noticed that if you do a daily water change your fish don't get sick like they would in real life because of the hormones in the water I think that’s nice so please don’t change that. I believe it’s a nice way of teaching people how to take care of fish. Five stars

I absolutely love this game and recommend it for anyone with a lot of free time because it is very time consuming but also very fun but there is one problem: how long it takes to level up. It gets quite annoying when you just start the game and you want to go catch fish but then you figure out that you unlock fishing at level 4 so you keep on playing the game. And I don’t think this game would be very fun for people that are impatient because you can buy levels but not earn skill points but it is quite expensive to skip levels so this game is fun for people like me that have a good amount of free time but again not for people that are impatient but other than that I do recommend it.

I’ve been playing fish farm 3 for about 5 days and I’m already enjoying it, but being a puffer lover I think they should add more puffers, (freshwater, brackish and saltwater). Here are some suggestions: pea puffers, figure 8 puffers, red eye puffers, Congo puffers, spotted Congo puffers, Fahaka puffers, arothron puffers, target puffers and porcupine puffers, etc. It would also be cool if you could have a brackish tank setup, because some of the fish that fish farm 3 has are brackish. I also know that fish farm had the flower horn cichlid in fish farm 2 and it is not in fish farm 3 (that would be nice to add). Other fish that they should add are tiger shovelnose, red tail, and red tail-tiger shovelnose catfish hybrid. Also I haven’t seen the Asian arowanna and silver arowanna. I haven’t seen iridescent sharks or platinum freshwater angelfish either. All in all, great fish app (probably greatest of all time) it just needs to add more fish.

I am a huge fan of this game. The decorations are very realistic and so are the fish. My only complaint is that I wish the schooling fish species would actually school together to make it even more realistic. I would also be impressed if certain species would act as they would in an actual aquarium. For example, if bottom feeders, like corydoras and other catfish, would stick close to the bottom of the tanks and surface feeders, like hatchetfish, would be close to the surface. Also, some of the fin movements of the fish species don’t look as realistic as they could. The corydoras and other catfish are moving their fins independently from each other, which they wouldn’t be doing in real life. Overall, amazing game. If you want the ratings to go through the roof, these suggestions are great places to start.

I absolutely love and highly recommend this game! It’s so realistic, there’s so many fish, different rocks, corals, snails, lights, filters, oh my gosh there’s too much! There are so many fun games you can play and it’s just so much fun catching fish for free and customizing your tanks!! The fish for the certain tank types just keep going on and on and it seems like there is just an unlimited amount of fish and decorations! If your looking for a game to spend time on and if you are just looking for something fun to play, then this is the game! It’s so realistic, the fish, snails, seahorses, everything actually interact with your decorations like rocks and seaweed!!! It’s so awesome!!!! You HAVE to get it! I wouldn’t change anything on this game, it’s so great! I love waking up and feeding all my fish and playing the catch a fish game. Highly recommend!! 💕👍😱😃

I absolutely LOVED this game the jellyfish are really cool and the big fish to. It's really addicting and fun to play. Maby in the next update u should add fresh water turtles to the fresh water tanks and maybe make a new aquarium for deep sea fish. My only complaint is that it's hard to get money and skill points ( I think it's called that) but besides that it's an AMAZING game.

That would be amazing and also can you please add more salt water turtles. Because 2 isn’t enough. Sorry I’m just addicted to turtles. And also a really good fish (well it’s technically not a fish) to add would be an axolotl! That would make the game 10 times better. Not that it’s bad just that axolotls make everything better because they have infinite cuteness! Also can you please make it easier to get bucks? because I’m tired of watching ads all the time just to cross breed fish or to recolor one. Thank you so much for this amazing game. And keep making it even better!

P.S. please add the blue whale because it makes no sense to make your logo a blue whale and not add it to the game.

Love it. Just watching the fish is great. One major issue: You are expected to feed your fish every 12 hours (or less). I don't actually know how long it takes them to get "sick" after they've gone hungry from not being fed for 12 hours, but the game doesn't tell you. It's just way too demanding. Instead of simply not growing, once they are sick you have to use the "cowry" currency to heal them (or sell them all for zero coins and hope you have enough coins to restart). You have options to get that currency without paying, but they are time consuming or inefficient. There are other ways to use that currency that feel more fair and exciting, like buying special fish. But if you buy those special fish and didn't have time to feed them, then you're back to healing your sick fish. Not forgiving to people who put the game down for 2-3 days, or longer.

I was a big fan of Fish Farm 2 and I'm loving the new version! The fish are beautiful and move realistically enough to create a nice illusion of a fish tank. The decorations are especially an improvement over the previous version, though they still don't have as nearly as much realism as the fish themselves. I really like the new lights, as they add more customisation to your tanks. My only small complaint is I miss being able to change the pitch of the bubble sound. I liked having the bubbles in Fish Farm 2 set to a very low pitch as that was much more relaxing. It would be great to have that feature back in in a future update. And also it would be nice if the arrow in the corner when you're doing a fullscreen view of your tank could fade out after a few seconds and reappear when you tap the screen again. Having it always visible disrupts the tank illusion a bit. Other than that, it's an excellent app, though I know it is very frustrating if you want it to remain free. But for me it was worth investing a little money in the add-ons to get more enjoyment out of it, especially since I already loved the previous one.

I love how spending real money is an option to advance quicker but it’s not made necessary and you can advance fine without spending money irl. I absolutely hate games that pose as free but force you to do micro transactions if you want to get anywhere so this is an extremely pleasant change from that because that’s all that seems to be in FishFarm3 store. The graphics are gorgeous and I love that the fish can be recolored into neon colors. There isn’t anything I don’t like about this game :) I do wish skill points could be built up just a bit quicker but it’s not much of an inconvenience and it doesn’t severely limit you if you don’t save them up for skill perks that require more than 1-2 points. So all in all, continue doing what you’re doing. This game is great and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes fish and fish breeding games.
