I enjoyed the grass roots version of this game to an extent. I had trouble with a glitch in the grass roots game where I had spent money on potbucks and somehow as soon as the potbucks were delivered the game switched them over to coins which I never needed. The customer support personnel I spoke to about it were rude and unhelpful and refused to award me the potbucks I had paid for but other than a crappy customer service team the game itself was entertaining enough to hold my attention for some time. I hoped the same for this version but I’ve had lots of trouble with the same types of issues as most of the reviews here have stated so far, watching ads for free stuff that is never awarded, zero availability of materials for upgrading literally anything, I am also having an impossible time placing workers. The workers supposedly have preferred work zones but for some reason the game will not let me place those workers in their preferred work zone. The munchie zone was unlocked and it says I have a worker in that zone and that the contraption is producing but neither of those things are true. I have several workers in my “Buddies” storage but the game wont let me place them anywhere and there’s literally no way for me to upgrade anything to make more jobs for my workers. This game is insanely glitchy and so slow that it’s honestly not worth the frustration.

I downloaded BudFarm after having played the original bud farm for over a year, and at first this one seemed to bring back the excitement I had for the Bud Farm games again. At first I couldn’t wait to progress through this game and I still find all the main gameplay assets interesting and fun, but ffs it’s barely even playable. My “connection to the server” is dropped about every 2 minutes, and it takes about a minute for the loading bar to crawl back to life again. Thought it was my WiFi connection at first but I’ve tried on several different networks and cellular data. The karma contest is just one big glitch, I get reminders that I need to sign in but every way to do that is just an un rendered icon on the screen. My “Shortlist” is a complete bug minefield, it’s about a 50/50 shot whether my purchases from other people’s farms, or “fests” in this case, will go through, and when they do the game usually requires at least one restart. Guys, it’s a fun game but I feel like I’m Beta testing honestly. Clearly the creative input was there and it has the potential to be a really fun and successful game but overall just sloppy execution.

Except for the Puzzles & Survival game ads. Please stop showing those.

I really like this game. I played Bud Farm years ago but stopped when I got a new phone. This game is much simpler and has a few advantages over bud farm. I like that smashing plant mites have different rewards like mystery seeds and guano, where Bud Farm was almost always “XP x8”. I like that other players’ dispensary items stay available for 5 minutes (and not just one minute like Bud Farm). It gives a person a chance to go make room in their stash or earn more coins, if needed.

I really like the whole concept of creating a festival and how colorful the Tunes icon is. Sometimes I miss the ability to go to other’s farms, but that always took so long to load that I’m generally grateful that is game is much simpler in that aspect.

I wouldn’t change anything about 420 Fest besides making required building materials more accessible, especially timers, hoses, and screws. 😆

Overall it's fun to play and I enjoy it but compared to the original game it's impossible to keep up. There's only gizmos for the first few levels and you're left to make everything else in the contraptions which takes 1-2 hours at a time for only a few items. I can never produce enough of anything to really be successful no matter how frequently I play it. I also frequently get glitches with the free items for watching an ad where I watch the video and then nothing happens. Lastly I have to spend all my coins refreshing the daily items just to get 1 or 2 specific materials that I barely get any of but have to use a lot of to upgrade things. Good game but I feel like I'm being pressured to spend my own money to get everything upgraded. If I play it everyday usually multiple times it shouldn't take as long as it does.

Big fan of Bud Farm, got a new phone and had to start it over, and this shows up as an annoying blockage in my game. So I DL it hoping it will go away in my BF game. No such luck. So I thought since I already used the data to DL it, I might as well try to play it. It has so many glitches. I’ve watched countless ads that promised rewards and never got the reward. The upgrade items never show up in the market. I couldn’t access the karma contest, it told me I needed to ‘sign in’ and there is no place to do that from the settings menu. Way too many glitches from the ppl who already had most of the bugs worked on in BF. Dislike the changes set up with the dispensary off to the side and the way to access the garage and the job board buried in it. Not sure if I will continue trying to play or just delete it and find something else.....

For everyone waiting, BudFarm has been restored!! The game is now loading and running smooth on the device i am on. Thank you to everyone who took the time to reply and time to fix the game’s issues. While a friend start playing around the time I did and was not having the same issue and was playing just fine, you could have passed the problem off easy as I’m sure not a large proportion was having the problem. But you tackled the issue and relaunched a new update. Thank you and love the dedication.

Rlly fun app suggest fixing not being able to sign in to special events, ik that the dynamic of the game is slow pace and it takes you a while to upgrade for that sake so add more challenges for chests and more rewards for side quests and such would give users more incentive, giving it’s a free game and you need to make it so some user feel the need to jump ahead faster by shopping it’s okay I’d be okay with watching ads to gain cool material or cash!! If you even read this that would be awesome!!! I do love BudFarm

I LOVE Grass Roots, I play it everyday. I was so excited to see the new game but honestly, it’s nowhere near as good. Kinda boring, actually. There’s not nearly as much to do in this game. There are no workers (like weedsmiths and repeaters), no good prizes (so I don’t even care about competing in karma contests), you can’t visit other “farms” (I know it’s a festival in this game) so it takes the social aspect out of it. You can’t help other people water plants, there are only 10 gizmos...I get it’s a different game, but if you’re going to make it different at least make it as good if not better. Idk what they can do to improve this game but I wish they would figure out something because I really want to love this game. But it often goes forgotten about and unplayed.

Just as addicting as Grass Roots and I love the different theme. I like how it’s not an exact replica of Grass Roots and has different strains and features. Haven’t encountered any bugs since playing, the game runs smoothly!
I decided to play this just to kill some time waiting to hear back from bud farm about resetting my old grass roots account. I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it as much as grass roots but I’m pretty invested in my 420 friendly festival now.

Not sure what’s going on with the game right now but it keeps saying I’ve lost connection with the server and suggests that I either restart the game or clear the cache. I’ve tried both and it takes me to a blank white screen. I just downloaded the game today and thought maybe it was my phone but I visited some community pages and it seems a lot of other people are experiencing the same thing.

I was having fun with the game and since I knew most of the mechanics of the game from bud farm I went ahead and sold some bud in my dispensary start before the tutorial showed me how. Now every time I enter the game it tells me about the dispensary, gives me bud to sell, and tells me to tap the first box to place it to be sold. I tap the first box to collect my earnings from my first sell without the tutorial and then the game freezes and won't let me do anything. I've tried deleting and redowoading BudFarm but I reenter at the same place. Always stuck. I can't reset BudFarm in any way. I wanted to keep playing but now I'm debating just deleting the game :(

The game is cute. Kind of fun if you can keep going. I’ve found though - that unless you’re willing to spend real $$ - you’re going to be sitting around doing a lot of nothing but waiting. Kind of like you’d be doing with a real grow op I suppose. Unfortunate though.

The game is also glitchy. Currently there is an event youre supposed to be able to sign up for but the buttons in the game don’t work and signing up on their site also doesn’t work as I got emails with broken links.

I wanted to give the game 5 stars. I was even going to spend some cash for game currency next payday. Then this happened. Three times I brought my points up to gold for this most recent karma event, today. Three times it kicked me back to silver so I brought it up again at 54 minutes to event end (with careful planting). I triple checked that I was at gold level. It even told me how many points to emerald level and at the end of the event I got SILVER!!! The game flat cheated me and I wasted a whole afternoon for lesser rewards than according to your game information I earned. If the game is just going to cheat then what’s the point? Most disappointing.

I like his game a lot, it doesn't stress making money as much as the other weed tycoon games I've seen, which appeals to my taste in games. The only slight issue I have with it is that when a window is open in the game, the button to close the window is almost always right under the potbucks button, which leads to me accidentally pressing the wrong button and opening the store when I don't want to.

The original Bud Farm was one of my favourites until I eventually grew bored of it, so I was really excited to see a new version in the store.

Sadly it doesn’t even begin to stack up to the original, I got bored within days. It is impossible to get some of the materials to upgrade the farm, which leaves you toiling away endlessly with the same mediocre farm. The “store” is filled with a zillion boxes and bolts but no hoses or lights ever show up. No way to get guano except for the “quests”, Roachy the Raccoon is no where to be found. I’m stuck now because I can’t upgrade my farm and it’s too boring to keep playing.

First of all perfect game in the world.
Second for 2 days now I can not get into my game… and I’m feeling away I keep getting connection error turned off phn turned off WiFi all of that and I do not want to delete and add the game again might not get my progress back and that would make me really mad please please please help me.
And did I mention I love this game.

I love this game so much! It’s so much fun I play it all day and all night it’s honestly become pretty addictive but sadly BudFarm recently started to shut down on me. I don’t loose anything that I know off but it is pretty annoying when I’m trying to buy something that I need from the store and then it shuts down on me. Not cool. I loose what I’m going to buy and then I have to wait forever to get it.

I can’t join the karma contest. It tells me to log in and create a user name. I didn’t do that from the beginning and have no clue how to do so now. I have pushed everything. Also Shorty's dispensary never has anything to sell. My husband plays as well and he has something new for sale daily. We spend money to play and it’s annoying that it’s not working properly. I love the new game concept but please fix the bugs. Also watch many videos for the mystery seeds and such and never get the prize for watching them. 😡. Help button doesn’t work either. Ahhhhhhh. Please help.

You can't exit the upgrade pop ups without opening up the option to buy cash bucks. It's super annoying and needs to be zoomed out like on bud farm: grass roots. In addition to that, the materials are hard to come by and Zeke takes an hour and a half to show up and sometimes doesn't even give you your rewards.

I have been trying to sign into take part in the event and there is no where to do so. I’m on an iPhone 8+. I’ve gone through Facebook and likes the page, I’ve gone through IG and followed, still cannot login or take part in the event. Fix this and I’ll fix my rating. Oh and FYI, my wife is also playing on an iPhone XR and she is able to take part in the events. She followed the same steps I took to try and sign in. She is in, I am not. Fix this please, I’m totally missing out man...
