Bud Farm: Grass Roots Reviews

My wife and I have bonded over this game so much, we will find ourselves lost in it often.
I wanna just suggest a good update idea I think a lot of people would enjoy, including myself. I have been wishing it would be in a new update every time I go to play.
It would be really cool to expand the farm into all those extra trees and rocks sitting in the back, either through potbucks or coins, most other games like this have plots further out that you can keep expanding on, and I always want more room on my farm. With the expansion though, decorations and people aren’t enough to fill it if people get super big so maybe offering a new store in the dispensary for purchasing, again with potbucks or coins, a new contraption! So we could have multiples of each contraption, more places to put workers, more XP to gain.
This would make the game way bigger in general, give players a couple more options to build on, new goals, like having to clear the trees and rocks out of a new plot.
Just a thought. Any other ideas or likes!?

why are we only allowed 13 workers but keep receiving them every time we hit the ganga chest? My rewards are filled with them and i can’t do anything with them.
You Should be able to spend pot bucks or coins. so if something costs 3 pot bucks there should be an option on how much coins like 30,000 coins and be able to spend either the coins or the pot bucks. Also, game is constantly crashing or says “its out of synch” and it needs to restart. Can’t tell you how many times a day my game crashes and restarts. ** It is now May 27th, 2018 and my last review was in November of 2017. The game still crashes constantly. Though they added a trash can option it’s still a pain to scroll to the bottom of my rewards and use those items first since they expire first. In the rewards you still often receive workers with no capacity for them. Why are my items on a time limit? The items such as workers I earn and materials from karma competitions, ganja chests etc. I should be able to keep for as long as I would like.

First I’d like to say that I love your game and am usually very happy with it. However, recently not so much. I’ve watch 7 ads to advance in two different quests and did not receive pot bucks for any of them. I’ve read some reviews that mention this issue, so I know that this is a problem for not just me. If you know you have this problem, it is not ethical to put “watch 2 ad videos” or “watch 5 ad videos” as tasks for your players. I really love this game and have put a lot of time and money into it. You guys are usually really good with the free availability of guano/pot bucks/ mystery seeds, which is one reason I continue to play this game and feel good about spending real money. I like to support companies and organizations that aren’t greedy or only out for profit, which you guys seemed to be before this problem arose. Please fix it.

Also, I tried to email your support team with the email provided on BudFarm in BudFarm Store, and it was no good. Where can I contact someone about this?

I would have given a 4-5 star rating, however, I got back on on my game and my cat-lady in the yellow costume that is a baker that I received from a karma contest has disappeared. I never booted her from my farm and she was one of my highest slackers turned workers. I'm very upset about this turn of events. I will write a 5-star review when I get this worker back. I love this game and it is very easy to get supplies and to level up. Dollars, guano, mystery seeds, and supplies are very easy to come by, unlike most games (which I love about this particular game) but if things you have worked hard to come by just randomly disappear it is a HUGE problem. Please work with me to fix this. I am very upset and I am no longer able to complete tasks that I should be able to do because of a glitch in the game. She was the last worker that I would have gotten rid of. Please fix this problem.

I like this game a lot, it's my new go-to time waster. Only problem is sometimes when I try to watch the video ads, BudFarm crashes (it just completely closes itself). Sometimes it's before the video even loads, sometimes it's halfway through, and sometimes it's at the very end before I can even 'x' out of it...
Only other feedback I can think of at this point would be to be able to navigate "home" or to "my store" when visiting FRIENDS' dispensaries (ya know, like you can in a dispensary through floydslist).
It also doesn't make sense to have to pay to pull your product out of your dispensary...I mean, maybe $1 would make sense, I guess...
But I also wish there were a way to see how many of what plant you have "growing" when you click on it to plant it, like it shows you how many buds you have. It'd also be cool to be able to see how many buds you have of a certain plant when you click on it after selecting "harvest".

I love BudFarm. It has real and original name strands if you smoke weed which I like because it gives me a real sense of selling weed. Also, you can sell edibles which is nice because flower isn’t the only thing you sell. Some things i would love to see on BudFarm because I love playing this so much. I wish I can trade with other people online like if I have northern lights can you trade it with something else And they can click yes or no. And also if there is an easier or faster way to get cash because I feel like I have to purchase cash in order to play more frequently . Like I can’t do this because something takes 7 hours to makes this. I want to play more but things take forever to make or I can’t decorate my farm because I don’t have cash.

I love the game but somehow, one day I tried to go on my app and everything started over, I lost EVERYTHING...fast forward and now I’ve restarted the game from scratch and am now only a level 33 after some time playing again. I was at emerald on a 14 hr contest last night to win an alien that gives 9 seeds every couple hours, I wanted him so bad and had been on top of the contest the whole way through, I watched as the seconds counted down and I was at emerald, I had over 111,000 points and the person at number 2 had at least 10,000 points to catch up to me so I just KNEW that alien as mine...the seconds ticked down and I clicked the goat to claim my prize...u should have seen my happy face turn to one of a homicidal maniac when it said I got gold and came in 2nd...there was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY POSSIBLE that a person 10,000 behind- could have caught up to me in 32 seconds, NONE...The new update has screwed me once again, I honestly don’t even feel like playing anymore

1. More variety of decorations.
2. You should be able to sell decorations on Floydslist and / or trade them in between friends.
3. Larger variety of workers to pick up at bus stop and earn through karma contests.
4. Ability to purchase more land and expand your farm.
5.the option to customize workers you do earn.
6. The first person you get on your farm should be you, right ? I want to be able to have my character on my farm and customize it and have it give you the option of like a mystery ability (for example: guano, mystery seeds, coins).
7. Whoever markets this game or like is the one behind it should spend more time investing in THIS game instead of newer ones like the festival one, I played it and found it boring.
8. You should be able to customize/ paint your grow house walls / floors/ pots at a certain level.
9. You should be able to trade out the raccoon in the grow house for a better one if you come upon it.
10. There should be gizmos that give you pot bucks.
And yeah those are just my inputs on how I feel you could make this game better ❤️🙏✌️ My boyfriend and I play it often and I actually got him hooked on it and now he’s a higher level than me !

Overall I like the game ! A few things I feel would make for a better experience for the user. If it didn’t take so long to produce things from contraptions. If you’ll keep it that way, it makes sense that when you get more employees to spend things up ! The ability to make items should come as you level up ! You should also be able to buy and sell seeds in your dispensary. Not that anyone would want to but it 🤣 but it should be an option! I also noticed that when doing the karma challenge I’ve been place in a more challenging group, than some of my friends who are playing, that are at higher levels than I am. A lot of crashes, particularly when I’m watching the video ads, Cheating me of my bucks. A few changes could make this a great app that I love ❤️! Keep improving 👌🏾 you have our attention. Can you keep it ? One more thing upgrading equipment should make buds grow faster, just a thought.

I played the game a long time ago but suffered the loss of my mobile device so I was forced to start over completely as there is no way to log back into that account. Regardless, there have been many great updates since I played it the first time. However I have noticed that the game crashes almost every single time I view a specific ad, the Family Guy candy crush spinoff ad in particular. I haven't noticed it for any other ads, but every time I watch that one the game completely crashes before being able to stop viewing it. When I try to press the restart game option it gives me, nothing happens and I have to force quit the application and restart. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done but I thought that your development team would like to know about any current bugs. Otherwise love the game!

Game is fun at first, but mostly for it’s novelty. It gets repetitive pretty quickly. You have lots of gizmos and shops to craft, but you rarely get orders on the job board for crafted items. Because of this they don’t sell well in the shop either. So they sit in your inventory and you end up throwing most of it away to make room. You can have a full stash (400+ items) and the job board will consistently ask for buds you don’t have, including the rarest/hardest to harvest buds. You skip the job, wait 10 mins for a new one, and the same exact jobs will come up.

So you craft to complete a quest but there’s nothing to actually DO with those items. Gets boring super quick. And you quickly realize it’s all a money grab because the only buds you NEED in the game are the ones you have to spend real cash on. I don’t mind spending real cash for a game that is fun and makes sense (I’ve spent plenty on other farming games for boosts and time advancement) but your cash in this game doesn’t take you anywhere.

So now all the asset in the game is downloaded on the phone, so it doesn't need to be loaded every time going on the game. It made the game a lot faster and crashes less. I love it!! Thank you!

I rarely get addicted to a game, and I surprised that I cannot put this game down! Not sure if it's the fact that I am growing weed, or the complex of the game, the graphic is great, and the characters and content have some humor in it.

However, the game takes a while to load as I got more into the game. I have my background app refresh on, and I still have to reload the game all over again 99.5% when I go back on it.
For example, While I play the game, and I text someone really quick; the game freeze, and I need to reload the game. If I accidentally press the home button; the game freeze, and I need to reload the game. After writing this review and going back to the game, the game freeze, and I need to reload the game.
And the game sometime takes forever to load. I now hate the phrase "smelling the buds..."

I understand the game is online and cannot be play off line, so the higher the level, the more stuff need to be loaded. However it is very frustrating! But it's not a deal breaker.

I love this game and spend quite a bit of money playing it. But what really irritates me is that I was told months ago that there would be an update fixing the problem with getting pot bucks for watching ads. Still doesn’t work and now with these new updates recently, its worse. Not only do I not get paid, but now the same stupid ad plays over and over! I used to be able to at least make 6 to 9 pot bucks but now nothing! And I’m tired of sending emails to the devs. Y’all probably owe me at least 300 pot bucks that I’ll never see because there is no way for me to prove it. Screenshots don’t show anything! Fix the problem already! Also, why does the game always get interrupted with Roachy saying that it’s reconnecting, man! No other game I play does this. 🙄

I would give this game 5 stars but there’s just to many problems. It constantly wants to restart its self or clear the cache. I recently tried to purchase a promo for 99 cents to receive 200 pot bucks & I didn’t receive my pot bucks. Emailed the support team and never heard a word.
It’s really frustrating because I feel this game has a lot of potential but it just seems to be going down hill.
I’ve played this game on and off for a few years and never had these issues until now. Also, I read on their web page they were going to shut down BudFarm due to lack of resources to run it properly. The info also stated that they were going to shut down purchases Nov 13 & it is now Nov 22. The company should update the info or take that post down. I’d hate to see this game go away but it seems that no one can be efficient at their job. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Compared to other weed games, this really is among the best- mainly because of the daily karma contests. Any weed game will be repetitive, but this one has a decent amount of things to check on, especially if you have a second game to switch back and forth from. I am a spender on games, and I think they’ve found a pretty fantastic balance. It’s easy to either make the in-game currency stretch for awhile or improve quickly if you use your brain about it. This game was easy to get into. The daily promo packages have been the best move they’ve ever made, spending 5 or 10 here and here is more reasonable than games that you can blow through 20$ in two clicks. Not even joking, it’s so important to have a good balance of cost for what you get and versatility in spending IGC.

I love this game! My borfiend and I have put tons of money into it and time, but there are a few things that are off. For one, I’m not really sure if it’s just me, but there’s a money pig in the top left corner, and I’m not sure if it’s at random or comes when you do a certain action, but I try and tap it or long press and it doesn’t do anything :/ and then I have so many slackers in my rewards but not enough space for them! If I go to my welcome sign it says it isn’t filled up and I still have some space, but I have a few in my rewards I cannot place on my farm! Not to mention it can get expensive to continue to buy pot bucks with real money just to have more slackers on my farm. Just a few concerns from a fellow player:)

I honestly love the game it’s so much fun but it literally freezes up and gives me an error like at least once in every couple minutes I’m playing it, multiple times a day. Most of all, it’s so hard to get “pot bucks”. You can earn a couple here and there but to advance in the game you have to pay into it and I have put probably $300 total into this game and I run out of money within one day. If it wasn’t for that I would advise everyone to play but because of that it might not be worth your time unless you have a lot of extra money to put into a game app... lastly, the “storage”. Everytime you upgrade which either takes you 8 hours or you can pay $200 pot bucks to be instant, you get maybe 3 extra spaces to fill. I get SO much stuff and don’t want to throw it away, you can’t sell it, so it sits there and I’m forced yet again to BUY pot bucks. Frustrating!

This is a very good game, however it is very crashy when watching the ads. I can't get through four ads without the game crashing at least three times. Also, I've just finished grinding my way to level 35, and unlocked the new grow lights. However, since the game almost never spits out timers to buy, and folks on Floydlist rarely sell them, I can't upgrade my lights. As such, I'm really losing enthusiasm to continue playing. You guys need to adjust how often the various tools come up for sale. I do not care about buying new decorations for the farm. I only want new gear to upgrade my farm. One last thing-there should be more slots in the dispensary to sell things, and it shouldn't cost $$ to remove them from the display if you need to.
Other than that, the game is awesome.

I absolutely love the game, got addicted to it first day in.

However, I’m not sure if this is an issue with me or with the game, I often keep getting “error” when trying to open the game and would have to close BudFarm and reopen it.

I didn’t think it was a big deal, until the other day. I ket trying to open and reopen but nothing was working. I would get the error message, which gives you the option to restart or clear cache. Since restarting no longer worked, I tried clearing caches.

It said that it would redownload the last 40mb download that I made a couple days prior. I was okay with that, so I chose to continue. Nothing happened. I kept staring at the loading screen for about 10 minutes before I gave up.

I tried different wifi networks (including my house network, office network and 4G) but none of it worked. I’m afraid that uninstalling and then reinstalling the game will take me back to the start, but at this point, it seems like my only option.

I have downloaded, removed, and redownloaded this game for the third summer in a row and I keep having the same problem since the second summer. The exclamation point that tells me that my plants need to be watered, slapped, replaced, etc WILL NOT GO AWAY! I will have all my plants watered and planted, have the raccoon satisfied or sleeping and I will STILL have it. It’s incredibly annoying because I never know when I actually need to check it. Instead, I check it constantly and I’ll open it up to find out that no, nothing needs to be done or can be done here. Not so frustrating that it keeps me from planing the game, but every once in a while when I check it 4-5x in a row and there’s no reason for it, I get closer to deleting this game.
