The only way to know the arrival and departure times of the buses is to actively follow the bus icons and look at TraversaRide360 . Working parents have to work, not follow TraversaRide360 . If I look at TraversaRide360 when I am available, the information is not accurate. It shows the scheduled time, not actual. It shows my child was dropped off at school on time rather than having him left at the bus stop since the bus arrived after his connection bus left. Also, TraversaRide360 allows the school district to not have accountability for our children and their bus drivers. The department of transportation just states, “check TraversaRide360 often.” Not good enough. The bus drivers should stick to the schedule and not assume parents are chasing the buses. I don’t think apps like this should exist for children maybe public buses only. It puts fault on the kids and parents when we shouldn’t be following little bus icons around a digital map.

The concept of TraversaRide360 is great, but the functionality of TraversaRide360 is detestable. The ‘yellow bus’ seemingly only appears in the mornings, but not every morning. The notifications vanish before you have a chance to read them and the pick up/drop off times randomly change without notification so you never know if you’ve missed the bus or if it’s just running late. I think there is too much time being spent focusing on ‘where the yellow bus is’ rather than focusing on where the children themselves are. TraversaRide360 is useless if it doesn’t work as intended and based on the reviews I’ve read, it doesn’t.

I use TraversaRide360 all the time. The bus icon shows the last location the system has reliable telematic data so depending on the over all system the bus may or may not appear to move. If you click on the bus icon on the map it will tell you the last time the bus location was updated. Even when the bus shows no movement or not running, the student page normally shows when the student scanned when boarding/disembarking the bus. At least you know when your student left/got to school.

I am constantly having issues with TraversaRide360. I like the concept of being able to see where my kids bus is, but half of the time the bus doesn’t even show up on the map. The scans when he gets on and off the bus are rarely accurate as well. The transportation dept cannot even communicate with me through TraversaRide360 when I send a message. It will not let them respond so they have to email me separately. Update: new year and nothing has changed. We almost missed the bus because the gps showed the bus miles away. This can’t be the only service available. Terrible.

TraversaRide360 is pretty much pointless. Unreliable, unintuitive and way too much room for user error. I get push notifications that disappear and actually contain pertinent information. Sadly I can only read a 1 line snippet. TraversaRide360 is always crashing and is so glitchy it’s almost a joke. Except it isn’t….because this is actually messing with our schedule and family life!! I’m very sad that our school district is spending thousands of dollars on unreliable and extremely unhelpful “technology “. TraversaRide360 needs to go.

I love the idea and concept of TraversaRide360 and was excited to be able to use it through my sons school, but it won’t let me log on.
I registered an account and was able to get in that one time, but it couldn’t find my son. I tried again later and it would say my username/password was incorrect. Go to forgot my password and it would tell me the user didn’t exist. Go to register again and it would tell me I already have an account.
Really need to work out the kinks

I love TraversaRide360. My only concern is that it doesn't give me a clear way to contact the driver. For instance if I am a second late getting them out I can't contact the driver and ask for them to circle back to get my kids. Obviously I don't want to rely on that but it would be nice to have the option if needed since we don't have a vehicle atm. Otherwise it's a good app.

Since the day we I started using TraversaRide360, it has not worked. The map shows the student and bus at the drop off/pick up locations all of the time and the bus never moves. Thank goodness I can track where my kids are before and after school, but it would be nice to see where the bus is when running late before the kids get picked up in the morning and are waiting at the bus stop. Based on the number of terrible reviews, I can’t even believe our school district went with this solution.

You paid for an expensive watch, works half of the time, but doesn't work the other half of the time. This is what I feel about TraversaRide360. The school district paid for the whole solution using our tax money, but TraversaRide360 is not stable and always shows error when you want to check the school bus status. So you and your kid still end up waiting in the wind for undetermined time. The recent version update made it appear a little fancier (I prefer the previous version), but seems even worse in stability. Not worth the tax money.

I don’t recommend this. TraversaRide360 never tracks the bus location and the drop off times are never consistent. My boys are scheduled to arrive at 330pm, but they can arrive anywhere from 35 mins earlier than that to a few minutes after. If the bus location feature worked, it wouldn’t be as big a deal, but instead I have to physically stay at my window and watch for the bus. I might as well pick my kids up from school.

I continue to get logged out of TraversaRide360 and when I go to log back on it says invalid. I try to reset password either I never receive a email or when I finally get it it says expired the minute I open it up. Now it won’t allow me to do anything. You need to weed out the bugs and kinks. I’ll just delete TraversaRide360 and hopefully I can find a better alternative. Also can’t read the messages because it deletes when you open TraversaRide360 from getting a notification.

TraversaRide360 would be great if it actually served it’s purpose. Drop off and pick up times are just what’s scheduled, not real time and bus location is pretty much non existent. I cannot see where the bus is when trying check. If the kids have possibly missed the bus in the morning or it’s running late after school, you can’t see bus location to determine your status. It would be really cool if that was fixed.

I was excited to get TraversaRide360 the school uses so I could be sure I could step outside to watch the kids get off the bus. We live on a busy road and I do worry about it. I am still working (I work from home) when they get off so it would be nice to just be able to head out when the bus is getting close. However, TraversaRide360 has only worked ONCE in the 3 weeks I have had it. It never actually shows the bus location. It is a disappointment.

This could be great but it’s not working for us. Perhaps the school and transportation dept need to be educated on how this works. I doubt they did everything on their end necessary to allow TraversaRide360 to do anything helpful for parents. I can’t see the bus, I can’t see any “scans”. Not what I was hoping for. It does however tell me the scheduled pickup time which is great since it changed twice in the first week with no communication from the school. At least I looked at TraversaRide360 !

When it’s worked in previous years, it’s very useful, especially for working parents. But unfortunately, it’s now rarely accurate, pretty much never tracks bus location or ETA, and messages it send about updated arrival times due to traffic issues, etc. are more likely to cause you to have to end up driving your kiddos to school. Please get TraversaRide360 back on track.

The overall user interface and information on TraversaRide360 is very helpful. However there is a glaring issue for students trying to figure out which bus to get on and that is, what is the bus number that they are assigned?? This information is not available anywhere in TraversaRide360 . It’s possible that this is the fault of the district transportation office but if not, TraversaRide360 developers need to add this field immediately.

It’s hard to tell what the bus number is - it shows a number at the top and then at the bottom is a picture of a bus with a different number beside it. I wasn’t sure which number was the bus number when my child texted me the first day of school for the bus number. It also shows that her bus comes at 3:51 in the afternoon when it actually comes at 4:15. How are we supposed to know this???? I had to pick her up from school the first day.

I like TraversaRide360 , it wish there were notifications. My kids bus has changed a few times this year & there is never any notification to let me know the time has changed. It would be very helpful to have a notification when there is a change made.

Extremely poor app. Not sure how school districts use them. Poor kids suffer in the name of an improvement. TraversaRide360 shows bus everywhere but at the stop. Worst app in 2 years so many glitches. Now I have stopped using it and everyone that I know also has. Barrington bus district has too much money to throw behind useless app. After all tax payers money why would the school superintendent care. All they care is for their salary and pension and everything else is a sham in the name of helping children’s lives

Very unreliable app. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. If the bus is late, most of the time we don’t know it because the bus locator often isn’t working. So our child stands outside in below freezing temps waiting for the bus. It would be helpful if the locator actually worked and we could let him wait inside the house until we knew the bus was getting close.

I appreciate the idea of getting notifications on the bus being late but the fact that the notifications disappear or no email is sent is a huge inconvenience. My son thought he missed the bus this morning. I had to take off work to take him to school. Please fix this issue! Better communication is needed.

This is so bad it’s literally a zero star app, if I could it would be zero stars easy decision. TraversaRide360 doesn’t even tell u accurately where the bus is, and the school still makes you use it; why, probably because school is school and that’s what they like to do, and then we get to school at 9:09 when the teacher says 8:49 and school starts at 8:52. TraversaRide360 is always broken, it says it’s at one place and gets to the stop when TraversaRide360 still says it’s 15 minutes away, TraversaRide360 is worthless.

I downloaded TraversaRide360 , opened TraversaRide360 and it asked me to enter my country so I put in USA and there’s no next button so I can’t go anywhere. So if I could give it zero stars I would.

So instead of the country it accepted the school name. App was created by Coders and not with the user in mind all that much.

TraversaRide360 is amazing! I can now locate where my child’s bus is. With two special needs students I worry about them getting on and off the bus.

Was excited for update and actually being able to see the bus on the map; however, the bus location is not in real time and there is at least a 5 minute delay. That’s just enough time for a child to miss the bus.

I too found that as soon as I registered that was as far as I was able to get. The company offers no assistance and says to contact the school. I am unable to log on. I will delete and just call the transportation department at the school to find out the info I need for my child. Nice concept but definitely poorly designed.

TraversaRide360 is almost never working (at least for the families in this area) and the company always blames this on “GPS issues”. For being a software platform, that has been implemented on such a scale, you would think more effort would have gone into ensuring TraversaRide360 “actually functions”.

Sometimes TraversaRide360 takes a long time to load or to show correct information, but it is good otherwise and provides helpful info. I use it everyday when going to my bus stop.

When bus loses contact TraversaRide360 keeps it at its last known position and tells students the bus will be late. Usually the bus keeps moving and arrives on time, often ten minutes before TraversaRide360 says. Unknown arrival time would be better than telling kids to show up long after bus is gone, right?
