I downloaded NeighborhoodWatch cause I stopped getting my normal alerts through my email and I seen the ratings were low but I still wanted to give NeighborhoodWatch a try cause the area I live in it pays highly to know what’s going on... well the second I opened it NeighborhoodWatch was lagging... Show more and freezing up but I figured i would give it some time , well here I am a few weeks later and I am really unhappy with the service and the freezing and lagging... I use to get alerts very often in email but looks like NeighborhoodWatch only updates one or three alerts a day .... and the original alert zone I had set up was a bigger range then NeighborhoodWatch allows. I’m very disappointed and am gonna be searching for a new source to monitor my crap neighborhood , if new updates and bugs are fixed and a better rating comes along I may reconsider. TAKE YOUR TIME to cover all the fine lines when making an app.

NeighborhoodWatch is an absolutely waste of time and space on your phone. DONT download it. The notification don’t work. 95% of the time that there is stuff going on it doesn’t get reported on NeighborhoodWatch I always have to find it on the news or a completely different app. All that shows up ... Show more is “burglar alarms” and “suspicious person”. For a few days it tried saying there was a suspicious person standing right outside my apartment. When I had left for the store, which was the same time as getting this “alert” I went out side and found no one there but instead all my neighbors were gone. NeighborhoodWatch is a waste.

NeighborhoodWatch is clunky and difficult to navigate just to see information I used to be able to see at a glance in text message banner notifications on my phone. I do not want to be forced to open NeighborhoodWatch and dig around every time there is an alert trying to find where and what the a... Show more lert was. Plus with text alerts you could easily go to google maps, not with NeighborhoodWatch. A big no from me.

If you join this, be prepared to receive never ending text messages!!! I’ve deleted my account and still receive endless text messages. Highly annoying. You are unable to text the word stop because it’s a different number every time.. and they do not have anything on their website to opt out of tex... Show more t notifications.

I used to get alerts thru text and I loved it. With NeighborhoodWatch I wasn’t even getting alerts at all. So pointless for me without the alerts because I’m not opening app over and over again through out the day to then hint thru NeighborhoodWatch to see if any alerts had happened.

Used to like NeighborhoodWatch, now it will not open.

I guess they patched it up. It has been working flawlessly for me for 5 moths. I just got an alert at work on evening shift about a suspicious person outside and it was at my home address!! I called and they had just gotten off the phone with the police a minute earlier. So it works and it works ... Show more fast. I’m officially impressed.
