HOOT: Scary Text Chat Stories Reviews

HOOT is amazing and I would really recommend it if you are into horror or true crime. And I thought it would be 5 star worthy... But then I realized that about every 15 minutes you have to stop reading for 45 minutes and leaves you on a cliffhanger. But hey, at least it gives you something to look forward to.

I don't usually like this type of games, but this one has really caught my attention because of its graphics and music, but mainly because of the story of the game.

I don't get the review where the title is "Seriously?" They said that HOOT is "Bull Crap" and they said they were giving it 1 star but then they gave it 5 stars. I just like don't get that.

although the images are a bit cringe the stories are actually engaging

I got HOOT , started it up, said no to the $4.99 a month, clicked on a story, read 4 texts through, then BAM it tells me to wait 50 minutes to read again, HOOT is a scam, please do not purchase.

Its good but needs more content soon!

Very cool. I wasn't sure I would like the game, but now there's no day I can be without playing.

It was going good so far until I wanted to read the rest but it said it cost money and I’m not gonna pay money for a game it’s supposed to be free

I think HOOT is excellent. The stories within HOOT are very entertaining to me personally. Each of the stories will leave you at the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens. I've been on HOOT for a few hours now. I intend to keep it and see what else they add. If you feel like you're the type of person who would like chat-formatted stories, then give HOOT a try. It's a very unique method of storytelling. I highly recommend everyone to at least see what HOOT has to offer. You won't regret it, I promise you!

HOOT is a collection of user generated short frictions in chat style. The idea is pretty good and it creates a new genre in writing stories. Just most authors on HOOT are not properly trained writer. They do not proceed good content design skill in this type of story. But I would say the overall idea is great.
The downsides involve both technical issue and graphic design issue. There were a number of time app crashed and the phone went back to the main menu. The user interface is not stylish and the a little bit design should be made. The point is, it makes readers not feeling good in reading the stories.
Overall, HOOT is great. But it can be better by tackling the problems mentioned.

You won't even make it half way through your first story before they start asking you for ridiculous amounts of money to continue or you have to wait an hour or so just to finish the story. This brings me to my next point, the story, from what I read before I stopped, seemed to have been written by a teenager who dropped out of high school. I would never recommend HOOT to anybody and the first review on HOOT was written by either someone who made HOOT or a friend because no one in their right mind would ever wast any money on this terrible app 💩💩💩💩💩

At first I thought HOOT was weird but after I started reading the chats I got hooked on it and didn't want to put it down. I wanted to keep reading the stories that were discussed in chat formats. It's actually a real appealing app that came from a unique idea.

Honestly when I got HOOT it was cool and stuff but when I found out you had to pay for the recharges and stuff I thought why get a free app and then have to pay the hint is a "FREE app" should be totally free not extra money for a dumb recharge and the stories ain't really that good they kind of leave you hanging and their not scary at all like their supposed to be! I'm really disappointed :/!! I mean my 5 yr old brother could right scarier stories than HOOT!!

Its a fun app. I have been using HOOT for few days and I am loving it. The best part is that it is regularly updated and new stories are added regularly. Also it comes with a very sleek user inteface. Overall its a nice app and worth a try.

I know there are so many people love reading chat stories such as me and my friends, so HOOT is what I need. I can read a lot of stories from strangers, which is absolutely wonderful to me.

I love it! The stories on here are crazy, they're so funny and even some are a bit freaky. HOOT works perfectly fine though. Hasn't lagged or bugged out

Just like the title say, I am still intrigued with the way the content is presented in HOOT . I am able to read interesting stuff in a style of chat messages. Very appealing.

I love reading chat stories and HOOT is great. The stories are updated on a regular basis and i love reading every single one of them during my free time. Great app, nice interface too!

Its really helpful to learn to chat. Now i can very carefully and i know how to chat. HOOT help me to chatting style and its very useful. Very interesting to use and i use HOOT when i have free time.

What’s the point in buying a game for free yet its pay to enjoy? And why would I even buy it? I start a story, wait 45 minutes. Then the story ends up being bull crap. I’m deleting it and giving it one star.

HOOT has some great stories. I wish you didn't have to pay for battery or I would read them all.

I guess this is the first time I have followed other chat stories. The theme makes the conversations more interesting and cause a little bit scary to me. I am obsessed

I really like reading the stories in HOOT. It is very entertaining and a great way to pass the time. I also have learned a lot from the content. Great app!
