Pretty design and usability
I like the design of this verify app, it’s straightforward. Only think I’d change is move the add account button to the bottom as iPhone X users have trouble hitting it.

I used IBMSecurityVerify to connect my Github and Slack accounts with 2FA. It was fast and painless. Look forward to adding more accounts to this.

Lol IBMSecurityVerify is a joke. Can’t log into my account no where to scan a code. Just absolutely trash

Doesn’t recognize code
No matter how many times I try, it always shows an error when scanning the code.

Learn from Duo
It just plain doesn’t work. If I need to get a code, it takes at least 15 seconds (best case) for it to show up. When I’m supposed to receive a push notification, no notification comes up. I have to find IBMSecurityVerify , open IBMSecurityVerify , click around, close IBMSecurityVerify , re-open IBMSecurityVerify , close, re-open, and then click around some more before the authorization code actually comes up. 2FA was never annoying until I encountered this thing. Duo circa 10 years ago is better than this now. Heck, a physical token is even less annoying because at least that’s reliable.

Not much in terms of instructions
I loaded IBMSecurityVerify and tried to follow the instructions. The first step is to “connect an account”. Which accounts do I connect? I have no QR code on my computer or phone. If no QR code, enter manually: company and account name, account code, then check whether it is “time based or not”.
I don’t know which accounts, the name of the company, name of account, account code or whether or not it is “time based”.
I downloaded IBMSecurityVerify because I thought it might help with my applying for unemployed insurance; and there is a mistake in my basic info, my driver’s licence is wrong in the Stated database which means I can go mo further in registering.
The online and phone systems are overwhelmed. It is not possible to get through to a person to fix the issue, but after 10 days of trying I’m ready to give up!
Is IBMSecurityVerify even useful in this situation? I don’t need to waste more time! Thanks for any help!

Buggy QR scan to setup
Only reason for low rating is that i almost couldn’t get past the setup step of scanning the QR code on my computer display. IBMSecurityVerify repeatedly grabbed the camera image with the code too small or incomplete. Needs a preview (like Chase check depositing) or at least a retry button
