Stopped working after update - no support!

I am paying for the ‘pro’ version and made the mistake of updating. Snd I sm a software engineer, not a neebie.
1st, the “support” link is useless. Takes you to their site, and all you have there are FAQs, but no way to ask questions or report issues!
2nd, now it records your ride, but there is no actual map on the route, AND YOU CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE RIDE DATA.
Can NOT export it or upload to strava or anything else - tap on that little ‘cloud’ till you die, and nothing.
Reboot, same thing. Exit and restart, same thing.
And lastly, even as a paying member, still seeing ADS.
It used to be a good App, then they screwed it up.

Keep me Safe does not work at all — DON’T TRUST IT!

BikeComputer interface is beautiful, and if it worked, I’d love it. There are definitely some quirks (like going to 0mph several times in the middle of a ride, or converting your weight from 150 lbs (entered) to “08.7”, but the key feature for me was “keep me safe”. If you crash, it’s supposed to text someone you list. However, it not only doesn’t work in the simulation mode (no text sent), it doesn’t detect a fall. I tried riding by a couch on the curb and throwing my phone into the back pillow (hard stop) as well as throwing on the grass while riding but nothing set off the alert. This is especially disturbing if you’re forgoing some other safety measure and relying on BikeComputer . Also, no response from the developer.
I made the mistake of buying a lifetime membership— don’t get suckered!

Reinstalled and does not allow me login

I had lifetime pro. Had some issue with my memory. So deleted and reinstalled. Now does not allow me to login back. Tried multiple times. Waste App. They took money and now not working. Not a robust app. There is not even a customer care contact. Looks like kind of a Spam

Too many issues not working properly

Paid for lifetime membership. To many issues every time I open app I have to restore purchase every time I open it to use other features. Temperature never updates. Also to many ads on activity feed even for lifetime membership. Also when I try to end ride it won’t end and will not allow me to save ride. Because of all these issues it is very difficult to use app as it does not work like all the other apps that are similar and free. I emailed them several times over the past month and no response, so time to delete and lose my money unless I can get a refund.

Use Strava instead

Not accurate at all! Also when I post my results it posts it in metric instead of miles and it doesn’t allow me to change that. I can’t update or review my profile without being prompted to login using either Facebook or Strava first and when I do login (using Strava) it continues to prompt me to login and I am not able to edit or view my profile at all! I’ll be deleting BikeComputer which is too bad because I like the GUI!

Useless in the U.S.

I downloaded BikeComputer (ver. 1.6.1), and promptly deleted it from my iPhone. The user interface is great, and I love that it can interface with my ANT+/Bluetooth sensor. The reason it is useless for me is the ineffectual units settings. Living in the U.S., every aspect of my life is in imperial units. There are settings in BikeComputer to change weight, temp., and distances to imperial units, but everything still displays in metric. Talk about a let-down!

No customer support.

I’ve written three times to these folks and there is absolutely no customer support or feedback. I paid for the professional version and it reverts every time I open it and I have to restore purchases. Now it won’t even record distance. I tried reloading it and that doesn’t work. I don’t want the advertisement for the ski app either. Fix this thing!

New update full of bugs

Funny because it states bug fixes but it’s actually causing more than it fixed SMH . What’s even more upsetting there’s ABSOLUTELY NO support link to report not on BikeComputer and not in BikeComputer Store . Beware if downloading this 1.6 and 1.6.1 still makes your overall stats permanently stay on kilometers weight won’t change to lbs etc etc . I wanted my stats in kilometer and weight in kilogram I would move to Europe SMH

It used to be better

Main complaints are related to the fact that sine of the interface is using metric units, although it lets the user switch to imperial. And wise, it dies not even warn. I was biking and it was rooting 29, although I was going pretty show. Then I figured it showed km/h. It didn't do that before. And it dues this in many other places. No testing? No quality control?
Now Strava is another story. In the past it would have issues sometimes. Now it appears the feature is gone completely. Need break: Facebook is having a really negative reputation lately. Don't tie your app to theirs. If people want to link their FB account, fine, it's up to them, but don't require it.
Thank you for the 12 dollars lifetime! I would absolutely pay it once you fix the measurements and Strava issues.

No Strava upload as advertise

Title says it all. I would gladly purchase BikeComputer if the strava upload worked. Which it doesn’t. If you are going to advertise an option on your app, then it should work. Just my opinion. Other than that, the interface, the UI, everything about BikeComputer is great. Devs fix the strava issue and you have a 4.5-5 star app for sure.

Doesn’t let you put in your city

BikeComputer lets you type in your city, but there is no submit button. Then it just says a town near you(the town was 20mi away). Second i put in my height and weight, but it shows more than half of my weight. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Why do I need a subscription??

BikeComputer is great however I would rather pay a high price on it than a subscription, I can’t no longer keep track of all the apps that want a subscription. Please offer another way of supporting besides the subscription!!

Fine app

Only using free part thus far
Would like that to be able to move unused heart rate number and replace central real estate with other value
Great tool and employed mainly this riding year

Phone call deletes ride data

While riding I took a phone call. Completed the phone call then returned to BikeComputer to find my ride data had been stopped while using the phone.

Solid app, sold performanc.

Solid app, sold performance. Only removed a star because of the bed to convert between kmh and mph instead of being given the option. Love the keep me safe tool as well as the color for night riding.

Pretty decent

BikeComputer is not bad at all. It lets you ‘configure’ your screen, which is nice. Reasonably accurate on speed and distance. Not sure about elevation. Have a few wishes though... please add some widgets:
- Current time
- Heading / Compass
- And perhaps media player controls

Strava sync authorisation issues

When you try to login using strava, it goes to strava authorisation webpage but when i click on authorise, it does not register with BikeComputer . Other than that. App works great but pls work on strava sync.
Has really great interface and no banner ads

Simple and easy

I’m definitely a recreational rider twice a week before work, 30-40 miles a week. It does everything I need, speed, distance, average speed, elevation(I’m Colorado based so nice to know). Works great. Just launch app and go. However if you stop for a bit you need to make sure it’s going again. Highly recommend.

Can’t open

Been using bike pro app for a few years, and now I can’t open it! Can’t change my password or do any thing .

Great APP for biking.

I love BikeComputer, I’m a type 2 deibetic and lately for excersize I been riding my bike. Well I wanted to keep track of my miles, so I was gonna buy a speedometer, after pricing them I couldn’t believe how exspensive they were. Then I got to thinking that I got iPhone X so just out of curiosity I looked to see if there was an App for bike riding! So I looked and there were a whole bunch of them, that do a lot more than keep track of your speed. So needless to say I’m quite happy with all the different things BikeComputer keeps track of , so that’s why I give it 5 out of 5 STARS.

Solid bike comp

I’ve been using these for a few years and it has been working great. Hopefully the developer will update this as I have tried a few other apps but this one still my favorite. Ignore the bad reviews, they are probably from people riding their electric bikes while checking tik tok. This is a really good app made for actual cyclist

No response

I have used bike computer for the past two years and love it. The one star is because I paid for the special upgrade to pro. I received an email stating I was billed for it, but app didn’t update and after sending messages, no response.
