Update deleted all past info

I paid for the pro version of Clockinclockout, and I’ve been using it to track my hours for almost 3 years now. I even recommended it to my colleagues. Today Clockinclockout updated itself to the latest version overnight, and all my past data and information is gone. This is ridiculous, and defeats the purpose of even having Clockinclockout. I now can no longer see any of my March clock-ins pretty upset with this issue. I emailed support, I wonder how long it will take for someone to actually get back to me.

Doesn’t pro rate when you cancel the Pro membership

Loved the Pro membership but the regular product had a lot of problems and would loose data from time to time. I upgraded to the Pro membership and have retired so canceled my Pro membership but they don’t give you any money back on your remaining membership months. Beware if you get the Pro subscription and decide you don’t need it anymore.

Problem with my hours...

Firstly, Clockinclockout is amazing. Everything seems pretty good and would work perfectly for me if not for just one detail.

I work an afternoon shift that can carry well into the next morning at times. The problem here is that it carries any hours I worked on Tuesday normally. Once midnight strikes however, it bode the remaining hours into Wednesday. For workers with shifts as my own, there must be some way to show all the hours worked on that day.

Fix this and Clockinclockout will be perfect. As of now, I cannot believe that I love it so much yet cannot get an accurate reading of hours worked per shift rather than per day.

Add this I’ll even buy the pro version. You can hold me to that!

Until then, my apologies but my honest review is of three stars. It had great features and functionality. It does not work for me though.

Thank you and I hope for a fix soon. I’ll keep Clockinclockout installed and hope for a future update.

Okay but not that useful

First of all, to export your time sheet they make you pay a subscription. I've had it with app subscriptions. I'd rather pay five bucks to export my eight time sheets which I created for legal documentation. I don't even know if Clockinclockout has any invoice creation or practical functions other than exporting to PDF.

Normally I dislike over- notification apps but these guys took it a little bit far. Sometimes I'll forget to clock out and I have a 300 shift. Can't revise or amend, so it's just sort of useless.

I just need a time tracking app that isn't so rigid that you must conform to its options rather than being a Le to track time worked, money owed by contractors, money lost for documentation in legal matters and project based time tracking.

I'm probably going to delete after my next 300 hour shift. Ugh. Another unhelpful time sheet app.

Great, but now an issue

I’ve really liked Clockinclockout since getting it. Especially for the location-based clock in and out. However, for the past week or so that’s just totally stopped working and I don’t know why. Location is on and the permission is granted to Clockinclockout , to use always, precise location enabled. I’m not having any issues with any other geofencing app (like the stock Reminders app). Clockinclockout has every permission possible and it’s simply not registering me arriving or leaving work. Even when I have Clockinclockout open and on my screen as I drive up to / away from work, it doesn’t do anything. It’s really frustrating because I unknowingly had an entire week of no hours logged and I’m stuck trying to remember them.

It’s a great app. I don’t mean to discourage you. You should definitely try it. But this is a bummer and I’m hoping maybe the dev can advise on a solution?

It takes a lot for me to write a review

Easy to use and well worth it to me. I work for a farmer and keep track of my own hours. I do both farm work and a lot with technology so I can keep it separate according to what I’m doing that day. At the end of the week it’s extremely simple to send him my hours in a text and he can print it. It breaks everything down into categories. We both love it. I never write reviews, but I’ve been using this for quite some time and I believe the developer has done a very good job, that’s the reason for the review.
I am using the pro version which is worth the money. I hope Clockinclockout stays up-to-date and I hope the developer keeps it the way. It is very good app.

Long time user. This works great for me. Miss the “circle” GUI on the prior version.

I looked for a time keeper app that would just track my punch-in and punch-out only. I did NOT want any dollar/pay calculations. Clockinclockout was a good fit for my situation, have been using it for 3-weeks and all is good.

The best App of its kind

Tried many apps before this, and quickly deleted them because they were either complicated or lacking in features.
I strongly recommend the paid version of it. Well worth it.

From hourly to salary!

I went from working an hourly job my entire life (RN for 29 yrs), to a salaried position within the organization. I downloaded Clockinclockout to help keep myself accountable to make sure I was getting in a minimum of 40hrs/wk. Between working remote when I want and working in the office, it’s really been a great tool!

Great App

I use it for every shift, tells me everything i need to. Well worth the five bucks to continue using. Only reason I’m not continuing use is because I’ve started a new job that uses an app that does what I need it to. This has been a perfect app for my serving job though!!

Convenient, User Friendly

Super easy to use! The clock in/clock out feature makes it very convenient, and you can go back and edit your timesheets if you forgot to log something. There’s not a lot of extra features and but I wasn’t looking for any. For a straightforward 1-job simple time sheet, this works fantastic!

Works well

This is the first time clock app that I have used. I wasn’t necessarily looking for anything in particular just something to track time. So far Clockinclockout has completely filled that need. It hasn’t given me any trouble it’s kept track of time, And so I’m really happy with it!

Needs another feature

I’m scheduled 40 hours a week but I’m technically at work 9 hours a day. I have a 1hr break unpaid, but Clockinclockout doesn’t give me an option to select unpaid break, it looks like it calculates my break which would technically put me in 5+ hrs overtime each week. Help!!

Update: Thanks for the help

Handy

I am salaried but work a lot of over time and also have to take a lot of time off to help take care of my parents. I use Clockinclockout to keep up with my time so I can show my managers that even tho I’m out and sometimes don’t work full days, I’m still working 40+ hours per week.

Perfect App!!!

This is the absolute best app for tracking your time daily...especially if you’re a consultant like myself!! And the pro version, which is very inexpensive in my eyes, allows you to export your time in Excel in case you need to do your own analysis with it. Long story short, I highly recommend Clockinclockout for anyone who needs to track their time. Kudos to the developers!!! MrLeep Out!

Great app

Great app to track your hours , been using the free version for about 4 months. So far it has been the best app to track work hours and it haven’t given me any bugs or issues. Interface looks good and easy to use. I just decided to upgrade it so I don’t have to be deleting my log about every 2 weeks.

Flexishift lives up to its name

I have been using Flexishift to track my hours ICW my consulting business. Quick and easy to use. Also permits editing of time events. The break time option is especially helpful when a distraction occurs during a billed time activity. The export function allows me to capitulate notes and time used in my invoice recap. Works great to help me track and bill hours.

Calculation 🧮

I’m good at math but can ever seem to be able to count hours and minutes and deduct my breaks. Clockinclockout does it all for you. Tells you your weekly total, deducts your breaks for you after you input clock in and out time, you can input time for previous weeks. It’s interface is smooth and simple. It has a pro mode which I don’t even need which is great, definitely will be looking into the pro features though.

Meets my needs. Dependable.

I work as an RN part-time. I can write my own hours. Sometimes I go in during the day and sometimes on the evening or weekends. I needed an accurate way to document what hours I worked. This does a great job!
The organization of Clockinclockout is great! I like that I can see at a glance how much money I’ve made, I can set the paycheck length, and I can look back at previous paychecks and schedules to double check hours. Clockinclockout has been very handy for me.

I would appreciate if it reminded me when I go past a certain number of hours. I have forgotten to clock out on multiple occasions, and it just keeps ticking away.

Good app. Could be better

I like Clockinclockout . It’s easy to use. I wish that they would change how my shift is recorded. I work graveyard shift a lot and it only records for the actual day. My shifts are split up on two different days.

Update. Read through some reviews and the problem was fixed.
