I don’t know if DogTranslator is any good because you can’t move forward past the opening screen unless you allow them to track you. I tried every level of the whistle and my Laptese puppy never even looked up! None of the whistles made any difference, so I guess I was fooled by the reviews! Another thing, the ads weren’t as bad as people were making it out to be!! For the most part all I had to do was hit the X, I only had a few actual ads that I had to wait 5 seconds before Xing out, not that big of a problem, I even turned off my WiFi, I still only got the ads that all I had to do was X out, what’s the problem? DogTranslator itself doesn’t work, or should I say, doesn’t work on all dogs. I gotta say I was disappointed, I really wanted DogTranslator to work!!😪👎🏻✋🏻👈🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻

Although the function itself is perfectly fine (it got my dog’s attention and helped to stop his barking/bad behaviors), the constant ads render DogTranslator useless. Right when you need it, an ad pops up and you can’t do anything until the ad allows you to close it. And if you need it over sever... Show more al seconds, the ads come up mid-use. This makes consistency in training impossible and is irritating in the extreme. There is no option to pay for no ads that I could find and it was not worth the space it took up on my phone. Deleted.

I tried 3 of the other top rated apps out there and DogTranslator seems to work best.

However the results are mixed sometime it seems to work but, at other times it doesn t seem to work at all.

I give this 4 stars only because it doesn't seem to be effective in the highest ranges, but in the low to middle ranges, it works great.

All you have to do is slowly adjust the slider as you have DogTranslator turned on, and you can hear the tone change. Find the tone that the dogs don't like, and they will leave! Remember - DogTranslator has volume control, so turn the volume to max.

The dogs don't even bark at us anymore, and never run to the fence after us. I've also tested it on two dogs within my family. Both dogs, upon finding the proper pitch, have been irritated and left the area. One actually RAN from the area! None responded to the highest range, so I don't know if it's my phone's speaker that can't broadcast the pitch, or if it's DogTranslator . Either way, I found the pitch I needed and it has changed our relationship with the neighbor's mutts.

I was skeptical when I downloaded this, but have been very pleasantly surprised to find out that it works.

DogTranslator works and it’s easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t have an app for my Apple Watch for added usefulness and convenience. Also, I can adjust the frequency on my iPad but not on my iPhone 12 because the frequency bar is off-screen (extremely annoying).

Great app. My dog is the best aside from the previously incessant barking. This fixed that. Took me a few tries to find the frequency that works best for my dog (3151Hz is the sweet spot!) The free version has terribly annoying ads frequently interrupting the operation of the frequency sound generator so you can ether pay to have the ads removed or disconnect your device from wifi/data and the ads cannot load. You may notice one ad slip through for it was previously downloaded but o... Show more nce that one is finished, you shouldn’t have to deal with any others. Take note that DogTranslator may be generating high frequencies but your device may not be able to produce them or your device audio output source (speaker) may not be capable of producing such high frequencies. Since human hearing typically goes as high as in the 20,000 Hz range, good speakers can go this high but typically not much higher since people would not be able to hear it. You may want to check the frequency response of your device and speaker to see if they are capable of generating the frequency sound you expect otherwise your dog may not be hearing what you think is being generated.

I have a bunch of meat head coworkers and DogTranslator has helped me too clear the break room in short order and since I have damaged hearing I can clear out the room in short order and not hear it they have no idea it’s me they think it’s the alarm on the fire suppression I love it

Neighbors dogs are barking constantly. Found DogTranslator. It works! They literally whimper and stop barking and have been much quieter. I feel terrible doing it to them but I feel like I can go into my backyard without worrying about the dogs going crazy. It is actually quite nice back there.

Barking frequency and length are down sharply and they rarely bark at me when I’m in outside gardening. At this point I am only having to remind them 3-4 times a week who’s boss. By setting DogTranslator just above what you can hear, that loud table next to you might feel a bit uncomfortable and decide to leave. They won’t know why, but they’ll just want to go elsewhere.

If you ask me, that’s the best part of DogWhistle... training animals other than dogs!

Our neighbor is a nice guy but has 4 dogs that bark and howl every morning when he leaves for work and every time someone walks by the house. We've asked him about them and he tells us how happy and friendly they are when they bark. I downloaded DogTranslator and it works just like the program say... Show more s it will. It works in the house from different floors & for neighbors dog which is about 20 feet away through window. They stop barking immediately. I hold it for 5 seconds so they get the message. Highly recommend it if you were trying to train a dog or teach a class. In my case it is teaching because I love animals. DogTranslator is save me a lot of time and money because I have gone through plenty of DogWhistle and I use DogTranslator 100 times more than I use an actual wrestle anymore. ... DogTranslator is great and it really works! Especially on my stubborn dog. I’m disabled and sometimes it’s hard to run after my little dog or yell commands. Searched Web for whistles, but when I saw DogTranslator, I was a little skeptical. This dog whistle got my dog to do anything I wanted her to!
