I have a few partially exercised grants, and it would be useful if my grants were listed by:
-Grant amount
-Vested amount
-Exercised amount
-Amount available to exercise

Instead I have to manually take my vested amount and subtract the exercised quantity for every single grant. So I’m navigating back and forth with a calculator in hand trying to figure out how many options I could actually exercise. It would be much more helpful if all my vested options across all my grants were listed at a higher level with a cash outlay to help me decide if I should buy them.

Options grants are listed as “xx out of xx available to exercise” — except that’s clearly not true as it includes unvested shares which by definition are not available to exercise.

Carta does not do a good job at helping me figure out how many shares I’m able to buy at any given time, and even if it did, I have to go to this app’s website to actually exercise anything.

this app worked fine for the first private equity deal that I invested in. It hasn’t hasn’t worked for me on other private equity investments. I just get an error while logging into this app that something went wrong on their end. I have no clue if I have been issued shares I have purchased, still have documents to sign, etc...on investments made last year. I’m told that their tech support is reviewing / working on it.

This is going to be harsh, but the new version is not efficient and requires a lot of clicks/scrolls to get to your information. And the spacing is very wide so the page looks very long and require a lot of scrolling. This might look great if you are optimizing for a first time user, but for users who log in frequently (multiple times a month) this is a huge waste of my time. It unfortunately will make me login less.

Carta doesn’t show me my ISOs, which support told me is because they are part of an LLC portfolio and therefore not supported at this time. Would be nice if the interface let me know rather than leaving me guessing as to where my options are. I’m sure Carta is clean like the web experience but it’s useless to me until it supports my portfolio type.

Step 1: activate account. Ok. Step 2: login, sorry that email not registered. Step 3: Forgot Password (I did not but whatever), Sorry that email not registered. Step 4: try to activate account again. Sorry that email is associated with active account. And no ability to send message to help desk. A good way to pss-off investors.

What this app does is pretty simple thus the experience should be. Now we spend time fending off employee complaints about illogical advertising (embedded in UIs) and badgering about equity and inclusion. this app should focus more on doing their job and less on preaching. In fact, due to the constant complaints, we are searching for a replacement even now.

I purchased stock yesterday on the this app app and did not receive email confirmation of the purchase - the rest of Carta is very good

Security risk. I logged into app six hours earlier and it was still logged in when I reloaded Carta . Considering this is financial information I would expect better. Otherwise very easy to use and helpful

I attempted to simulate my beating through Carta , and it gave me an error to put in an option amount. There was no field to put in an option amount.

Beautiful app, runs smoothly and has constant updates and new features. Keep it up this app.

Super easy to see my options and info associated with them.

This is probably one of the best apps on iPhone. I have been using this app since an year and the updates that they have had in the last one year beat all others.

I absolutely love that they have so much information. Especially the equity 101’s. Before Carta I didn’t know much about vesting and IPO’s. Thank you.

I love how the this app app makes it easy for me to see the vesting progress of my options and the schedule!

This is very easy to use app and always on my iPhone. Nice feature is the face recognition.

May hats off to whoever designed the user interface. It’s really clean and straight forward to use.

I am trying to use Carta to see an I process exercise and it says something expected happen error

Never thought managing several multiple securities with several companies could be so easy. Also I love simple and clean design

Love the fact that Carta keeps getting even better with new feature launches and improvements (i.e. can now exercise options on Carta ). UI/UX is very clean too 👌

Really easy to use! And helps to navigate. I do wish there was an option to exercise the shares on Carta but I do love the new version!
