I’ve been a LONG-TIME customer and sold on the idea from Security Finance that they will help your credit. I paid ALL payments on time and would pay down my balance for years rather than pay it off. I was told by staff that this will help my credit by showing I’m continuing on time payments.
First, when you “renew” your loan it closes out your old payments on your credit and starts fresh. Second, they paid off my loan without my knowledge after I told them I’m applying for a mortgage. Third, they are always way behind on reporting to the bureau and some months don’t report at all. Now, I have 3 hard inquiries from Security Finance and no open accounts. Paying on time and being a long-time customer negatively affected my credit score.
App will load but says unable to log in have deleted it and reinstalled several times even changed my password still can’t log in
After months of using SecurityFinance now I can’t login for the last couple months. I’ve successfully changed my password and it still doesn’t let me login!
Not only can you not link accounts if more than one person in the household has an account. For example my wife and I can’t not just log out on her app and log in into mine to make the payment. Also if you can’t log in for whatever system error is on their end you won’t be told why. Even tried registering under a different email of mine but won’t proceed because the number is the same. So to say I’m unimpressed with the over all app and whoever designed it is an understatement. Maybe they will figure it out, maybe they won’t.

Can’t even get into SecurityFinance I typed in email and changed my password 3 times and still can’t get in to pay my bill now I’m charged 2 late fees cause I’ve been trying to get into my account to pay my bill and can’t and security finance will not remove the late fees I give two middle fingers up if I could
SecurityFinance is useless if you can’t log into it. It will not accept my password. It will not let me change my password either. It keeps telling me it sent and email, but I have yet to receive one. 😡
Can't login. Was able to reset password. Still couldn't login. Deleted and downloaded again. Still couldn't login. Can't login to the website either. They never accepted American Express payments online anyway.
I have tried several times to reset my password and SecurityFinance says that an email has been sent to do this and I’ve never received an email. And yes, I’ve checked my junk file. Without being able to reset my password SecurityFinance is totally useless.
When I put in my right password. It basically told me that I was unable to login . I tried to reset my password or anything I didn’t even get the link or none of that. I guess they going to have to wait until I have the money cause this is very ridiculous fr. 💯💯💯‼️‼️‼️

Why can’t you put 2 loans in one for security and one for continental credit
I am trying to get on my app and I know my password but it won’t accept it. I’ve tried resetting it and it says that it sends me an email but I doesn’t. I’ve checked the spam folder as well.
I can make payments still on the old version from SecurityFinance but the new one I can’t? I can’t even login.
Pointless when you can not make payments in SecurityFinance ; you have to call. I’d rather be able to make payments on SecurityFinance then call. But it’s good that I can see what I owe and what balance is.

Does what it says. They even called once I made my payments online to confirm I did it. Anyone that says it’s not option either can’t read, or isn’t tech-savy.

I feel like SecurityFinance allows you to check to see when your loan is due, review your loan balance, make a payment ...I don't have to call the office to make a payment over the phone. This is a private and quick way to pay your loan.
I like how I can keep up with everything on here & the people always work with me and my payments .
App is pointless. I am trying to register and it keeps telling me my email address, that I have been using for over 15 years is invalid. I tried with 3 different addresses; same error 🤬🤬🤬
I attempted multiple times to login and even requested assistance nothing but error!!! SecurityFinance is less than helpful and does not properly function.
I’ve had SecurityFinance for awhile, and it worked great at first. However, now I cannot login to my account. I even reset the password a few times and no luck.

SecurityFinance allows you to make a payment and review multiple loans(used to not be able to) you can make you payment within SecurityFinance . No redirects to a browser. The company is very rude, they offer a 10 day window for late fees but will call every single day with demands to get it paid immediately. SecurityFinance is 4 stars, the company is 1 star. I’m reviewing SecurityFinance , so, 3 stars is fair.
