Live Photos are imported as .mov files instead of maintaining their Live Photo format. Nor does it export the .mov back to the Live Photo format. This is a deal breaker, as I want to keep the LivePhotos as is, not import them as .mov (or still image!) .. There are other similar apps that support Live Photos so there’s no reason this one shouldn’t

When I add a certain amount of media MooCow no longer wants to open. It opens very slowly at first, does faceID then freezes & just doesn’t open. Why? Memory issue? My whole phone stays on empty 9/10 times bc I use a cloud service so I don’t get it.

Purchased premium (again) and not all features are unlocked. In fact I lost all images updating MooCow . Even sent a few tip payments. I have not heard back from developer after sending emails regarding all this to support. Not sure what’s happening. I have this developer’s other app which is great and he has been great with customer service for that one, not so with one. I was hoping to give 5 stars like almost everyone else, but I have had totally bad experience with MooCow. Maybe new glitches since those reviews? I should’ve realized my mistake, having had to purchase premium more than once and still not having full access, and losing images in the process. Be careful when considering MooCow.

I sort of figured this was too good to be true. Once i got around 10 gb worth of pictures and videos on here, MooCow won’t even open, it loads for a good 10 seconds and then force closes. insanely unfortunate. i paid for the premium thinking this was everything i wanted but now it’s unusable. is this something that could potentially get fixed in the future?

I'm a premium member and MooCow is good but it never allow you to get back what you upload there , i don't know what is the purpose of having an app which anything get in never get Out !!!! Hope if they're gonna fix it ,, which is very important

I’ve been using Nice (Scott’s other iOS app) for quite a while now. It’s great. This one seem quite close in quality. But I’m seeing a few things that could be improved and one that is an outright blocker.

1. There does appear to be a way to select multiple images/videos when trying to import from within MooCow

2. There does not appear to be a way to send images and videos TO MooCow when in Photos or Files. MooCow is not in the list of
supported app.

3. (Minor complaint) Like Nice, words are not auto-capitalized. This is rather annoying to me as it is a deviation from the design standards set by iOS. I guess my brain expects to not have to hit shift when naming a new folder.

4. (Feature request) It would be great for the folders to have thumbnails that are editable (new image or video can be selected.

5. (Bonus feature request) Allow key frames to be selected for video thumbnail! I’ve wanted this in these kinds of apps for literally years. No question that it must be hard to implement though.

Aside from these things, thanks for this great app!

Please add the ability to move photos around within an album!! That’s literally all MooCow needs now.

Pretty nice app, its very useful if you are trying to hide your embarassing photos or videos but-- i see it as unfair advertising that you have to pay just to repeat videos.

Great app to keep your private pics and videos private and safe. Never worry about your nude pics or videos of you having wild sex with your lover ever again.

Compared to all the other secret apps out there this one is the way to go. The UI is great and intuitive, and premium is the cheapest I’ve seen. I would improve some aspects though. The biggest one would be that if you swipe left on a file or a folder, an edit menu should appear to edit that file or folder. The second main thing is that Live Photo’s shouldn’t be saved as gifs. They should be saved either as the actual Live Photo itself or just a stationary image. Or maybe have in the settings how you’d look to save them as. Either way fantastic app, would recommend, and they would implement these suggestions, would def but premium

Easy to use no need to pay (need to pay if you want premium options) keeps everything safe and really cute.

It has taken me a bit of time to learn how to manipulate MooCow now having a good time

This dndnndndbdhhchdhdapp is simply amazing. The only problem is it takes a while to add something to MooCow , and I end up having to add it again.

Absolutely love MooCow !! It keeps any pics I’m hiding perfectly secured and saving myself from getting in trouble

I love the title so much because it gives a sense of relief to not appeal attention to others when they view my phone. Great for progress pics that can embarrassingly pop up on phone 😅

This is what a photo security vault should have been like in the first place, “discreet!” All other photo security vaults scream out, “hey, look over here, this is where private photos are hidden.” This is the best and most discreet one I’ve come across. Kudos to the developer!

The software idea is very good, the function is also good, but very card photo many will flash back, hoped that the improvement had better add a photo sorting function!thanks

It seems pretty cool the way you lock anything you want

MooCow is great and discreet. The only request I have is to add a slideshow feature for the photos. If the developer can add that I would upgrade to premium in a heartbeat.
