Word Wow Around the World Reviews

Of all the donkey soft games this is my least favorite to play but it’s the one most frequently updated with new levels, unfortunately. Too many ads. Full screen ads that take up the whole screen that last 30 seconds. Tap the X to close one after 30 seconds and it starts a new one. I understand the need for ads but these are too much. I end up closing the whole app and starting over

This game could’ve been great. Now it’s good. I have a problem when I earn a reward (stars) and then I lose it because of a crazy additional requirement. I’m an adult, so I can get over myself. Until I got to the end of the first leg of my journey. Then I got a message: I had to get ALL the stars before I could unlock any more of my journey.

So, we have this added step to get a star — make the worm float by to release it — (after I’ve already made some great words to release it) . But now I can’t play more until I meet impossible requirements. This is bothersome! I love making words, and some tactical manoeuvres are fun. They shouldn’t be impossible!

And— there should be a better way to earn Potions and Bombs. Sometimes that’s the only way to get past the gridlock of bushes, letters, and what not.

I hope the developers read these reviews. I’m unsure what others feel about this. Maybe I’m the only one who is bothered by this, I don’t know. But it would be so much more fun than seething when the stars go up and are gone.

I was happily cruising through Thailand after playing this game for quite a while. Suddenly last night nothing happened when I opened it. Today it opened- but I’m back at the beginning in the US. Where are all my carefully saved bombs and changes ? Now I have to start over? I’d give it over 5 stars if this hadn’t happened. I guess I’ll be able to play longer if I started all over, so maybe it won’t be too bad. I’ll have to see .

Despite being very careful, about 1/3 of the bombs do not work. Given how much I play and how many I’ve purchased, I estimate WordWowAroundtheWorld owes me about 50 bombs. Also for the last two days, the free bomb and free shuffle has been glitching and will not load. Therefore forcing you to purchase bombs and shuffles. Not cool!

Love the game - it's entertaining and not totally mindless :) but I wish the developers would make a paid tier of the game that would allow the user to totally escape the harvesting of user data for ads /analytics.

I would gladly pay more if I could just have lay a game without Facebook and Google vacuuming up data about me /

I paid WordWowAroundtheWorld fee to escape ads, and I have location services turned off and use a VPN for privacy - yet it all seems to be in vain This game was still able to pinpoint my location with no input from me

Apple has made this very public pro-privacy stance as a marketing device - so Apple, how about rewarding developers who offer a no-tracking paid version by taking less of an App Store cut??

Still love the Word Worm though! And the developer was great about replying to my analytics / tracking Qs

Just wish I could play it without FB and google surveillance, and that there was a paid tier that guaranteed no info was transmitted to the big data vacuum companies!

I love the Word Wow series of games. It’s seriously annoying that ads cannot be muted. The noise is so intrusive. I understand the need for ads but I will never, ever support the product or service being advertised as a result. Offer a mute option!!!

I have played this game, beginning to end, twice! About to reset my scores, and start again. Around the world is better than any of the other Word Wow games. Please make more games of this caliber.

I wish I didn't have to remove the timer in order to keep playing it. If I couldn't remove timer I would have deleted the game. Would like an easier timer setting. (Edit after developer response: it seems to me, that the EASY setting removes the timer. So there is no timer. I would find it more fun if there was something in between. A longer timer setting, so there is some challenge yet still achievable. I found the regular setting to be ridiculously unachievable.)

Word Wow was already my favorite game, but now I’m addicted to the new day trips! I can’t wait to get home from work every night just to do them! Then if that hasn’t satisfied, I can do some more Around the World. Thanks for making the best game even better!

I love this game, but I really like the Day Trip. I find that having to complete within a certain number of words and having to find specific words, makes it more challenging. How about a game with these requirements.

I just recently started playing more word games than casinos...out of all the games thus far this is my favorite. It’s cool always figuring ways to get all the items for pints while creating words! Love it. Please update it so that it will get better and better ! Thanks!

I love this game I am a fan of word games and this one is one of my favorites. The only problem I have is that I play it but then the music stops and he doesn’t say anything anymore. My volume is up so I can get phone calls and I don’t have any problems in my other games

I find this game fun in a relaxing way - and I typically do not use the timer. I just play in “zen mode.” 😀

I like how I can pause mid game. It’s great for taking mini-breaks during my busy day. Or, sometimes I decide to play just a “little more” and keep on going. 😂👍🏻

I like this game. I play it everyday and enjoy playing it. A cool thing they added is you can remove the timer for each level. I tend to play at my own pace. This is a great game and you should get it.

I’ve been playing your game for well over a year now and I really love it. I just updated my phone to the iPhone 11 pro max and I’m having trouble grabbing bombs and shuffles without pausing the game. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. THANKS!!!

I love this game! I like to play in English and in Spanish. I love that its not just dragging my finger across a screen,like candycrush. But instead it challenges me to find the longest best situated words as fast as I can while enjoying the aesthetically creative levels and scenes.

This word game is excellent to stay sharp. One must use strategy to collect all three stars for each level. You can also challenge yourself to find longer words or use difficult letters for which you are also rewarded with points. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this game.

i LOVE this game. fun and good for the brain. i don’t use the timer because i want to relax without the pressure. im 54 and i want to keep my brain active. this game does the trick.

I like all the Word Wow games I've played so far and this is great, too. More thinking and planning. I also like that I'm not constantly buying tools to help with the game.

This game is helping me to build up faster word recognition out of the available letters! Now retired, so look forward to breaks and playing this! Interested in how many people play from all countries! Once. One gets started, it is so difficult to pull away! FUN GAME , FOR SURE😁😍🤓
