Avira Phantom VPN & Wifi Proxy Reviews

I am currently paying for your I am paying 6.99$A month for your VPN on all platforms. What does all platforms mean? How many devices can I have on your phantom VPN? I want to be able to use Phantom VPN on multiple devices. I tried to send an email it says that my email address is not registered because I’m not a customer how do we remedy this situation? Do I need to unsubscribe from iTunes and pay directly to the website so I can have the VPN on my iPhone as well as use the phantom VPN on other devices? This seems quite egregious that I have to write a review to maybe get a bleeping response there should be live customer support and email so I could simply send an email but you guys don’t have a customer support listed email that I could find, it seems very apparent that your company is all about the money doesn’t care about the consumer because I can’t even get a hold of you! To put it kindly I am unhappy if I was not on a snowflake platform I would be cursing!

I started out using their products, found an ad worm in their anti-virus. The last update to their vault deleted all my user names and passwords and put an install button for pass word generator. And now I wonder what awaits in this update to their VPN. Not me! You’ve screwed me the last time!

Apple sent me an email stating Avira Holding replied to my review and asked if I wanted to update my review and/or contact the developer. I first tried to contact Avira and the link in the email to me to the same useless website. I did make a mistake and used the words ad worm. It’s not that, it’s ad Ware! And if you have ads, including a couple of porn site pop ups, one which hijacked safari to that site, your Anti Virus is not right!
And I’m sticking to my guns on what your vault update did.
As a security company your doing a poor job!

AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy is very handy to use when I need privacy. It is easy to set the location and now I can easily plan trips by having a better idea of what is available based on a more local location instead of being in another state.
The main thing that I wish that AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy would do is give the user a notification when AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy turns the VPN off. This has only happened to me once and it was when my phone switched from LTE to 3G.

AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy was great for the first year but I noticed since last month the connection is not stable and it is very slow sometimes, about 10% of my regular speed. The biggest issue is when I try to connect with my iPhone, the WiFi connection disconnects and switching to the LTE and AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy shows an error saying there is not network connection. I would love to change my rating with this issues fixed.

This service has always worked well for me. Speed is above average for most vpn services. Fairly priced too.

Simple interface allows you to select the country you want to connect to. Shows when connected and disconnected.

I have had a couple of issues and they have responded almost immediately and helped me fix them. I have never used a VPN and really wasn’t sure if I’d like it or need it. I recommend to anyone’s house wants privacy. (Facebook wants to know where I live since I’ve been using this VPN 😂). I took one star off because when I put my electronics (Apple IPhones and IPad Pro) down, next time I pick it up I have to turn the VPN back on.

Unfortunately I changed my mind about your service. On iPhone it doesn’t have the connect on demand option in the settings and keeps getting disconnected regularly. I’ve lost so many matches because of your service getting disconnected. On Mac it sometimes doesn’t connect at all for no reason and only after I restart my Mac it gets connected again. If you don’t fix these 2 issues I’ll definitely change my service and keep giving you one stars!

When the VPN works it’s the best VPN I’ve ever used... unfortunately on my iPhone and my windows 10 laptop it often does not connect. When I try to go to the website for support all I can access are forums from other users with no answers. When I enter my information for support it tells me I’m not subscribed to a premium service but I’ve double and triple checked the email I use and that my subscription is current.

Buying the subscription via iPhone Appstore seems to be cheaper than buying the same thing in the Mac App store. Price on Avira website seems even higher.

Not using Phantom VPN long enough to provide technical feedback other than the VPN On/Off functionality via the switch in the iOS settings does not work. VPN automatically turns on again after a few seconds when deactivating. (iOS 11.4)

I downloaded and paid for AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy months ago I’ve only been able to use it a few times because it won’t connect. I can try literally 50 times in a day and it never works. I want my money back, too bad I can get my time back from f’n with it trying to make it work. I’ve got an intruder in my phone & this is 1 of the only vpn’s that works to keep them out. Too bad it seldom works. If it fired up every time & worked I’d give it 5 stars, but as is I’d say it deserves a -5

I have tested tons of well know vpn for year now. But when I tested AVIRA PHANTOM VPN I was amazed at the speed it offer. Avira was able to connect on my 2G network with good speed with military grade encryption. Iam happy to have Avira as my vpn. I recommend it to vpn lover. Pls add kill switch to make it perfect Nice job guys.

Having trouble sometimes turning it on. Have had to remove app and download again to get it to work. Sometimes it doesn’t recognize my subscription.

AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy works great for private browsing. My company has a block on some ports, and I normally can’t play my game at lunch, but with AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy I can. The only problem I sometimes have with it, is that it won’t always shut off when I don’t need it and want to save some battery life.

Lots of servers located all over the world is impressive. I would definitely give 5Stars for sure if my “Nearest VPN Server” wouldn’t drop me all the time. I use other locations and the vpn connection is rock solid and constant without interruptions. The local server consistently drops connection. If there is an update on this let me know please.

Very good app from trusted company..waiting to be able to purchase on App Store..for all my mac products

Changing my review, not only is AviraPhantomVPNWifiProxy not available as an App Store purchase it is worthless @ this time..I need a vpn while traveling abroad & this is not it...the data transfer speeds are barely a trickle..pages won't even load even @ closest location selection..love their anti virus & was expecting a lot more from this company..until speed issues are fixed, this is not my app..

One of my corporate clients requires beefier security and Avira was recommended. The suite of products is quite good and has a low RAM requirement for MacOS and iOS. This VPN is great and even has an endpoint for ‘US-Streaming’ which allows me to use NetFlix while traveling abroad. Very cool!

500 mg free a month of VPN. Most important is the whole package including this is a must have. It has worked wonders for all of my devices. This VPN is the fastest on that I have found 65mbps upload 6 download

This product keeps frozen when I use it on my iPhone. I thought it was my phone so I tried it on my wife’s phone and it froze again. I tried it on my iPad and there too it froze. Please fix it. I have had their products for years and I’m a paid customer but this one is causing me t have second thoughts.

I love the quality of Avira VPN and have been a subscriber for quite a few years now. I did want to request that a widget be added for iOS 14, like a quick toggle.

I can switch locations instead of having to pay like other vpn companies

I actually bought Avira Prime like an idiot and their VPN was hacked by my neighbor so fast it made my head swim. I thought it was because most of my devices are Apple and iOS is new to them, but once the devices and Avira were compromised, I couldn’t get rid of this guy. Change passwords, change email, contact them (that was a waste of time). For all the hype, Norton has always done better. Frankly, I had two techs tell me VPN opens a whole new set of problems and now I see they’re right.

This is the best and easy to use app for your equipment. No problems, it follows you where ever you are. It’s worth paying for the premium.
