First off a 4 minute commercial time break is not acceptable-I have screen shots of it should proof of be requested after posting this issue on their site and here.
I really enjoy Destination America’s programming even though viewing it costs me an additional $50 a month on my cable bill since it’s only available as a premium channel.
Since work necessitates my catching up on episodes via the app, 90% of my viewing is done in this fashion.
I game and run 15+ channel specific apps, and only have streaming issues when utilizing this app. The problems range from the show freezing every 30 seconds to a show segment of 8-10 minutes repeating several times before the show continues normally. It’s occurred with different series so the glitch isn’t just affecting 1-2 streaming events. On top of that, 2 advertisers have commercials that will repeat up to 8X’s before other advertising takes over. I’m now avoiding those products since I’m sooo sick of their ads.
I’ve contacted the developers, removed, reinstalled, and utilized multiple devices trying to correct the issues without any resolution. When I asked friends who have the same app and different cable providers they shared similar problem lists.
I hope the app developers can correct the problems but it’s been 6m w/o any discernible improvement so who knows when and if it’ll get better.......

We are trying to watch shows through an app NOT on live television, why the hell do they have to put 2.5-3.5 minute long commercial breaks in their shows? Are you kidding me, this is becoming intolerable and making it difficult to watch any of the shows. I end up falling asleep waiting for the commercials to end. I’m going to stick to Netflix and my other on-the-go apps which don’t have ridiculously long unnecessary and frequent commercial breaks in their shows.

This worked ONCE on my iPad while connected to my home network, which gets its IP service from Charter/Spectrum.
Next attempt, nothing would play even though logged in, ALL things were showing red which was explained away as not being available on my network. Funny thing that...the show is ON MY TV at the moment, but not on my IPAD and yet as soon as I try on my mobile phone..it works? Inconsistent. I’m not throttled, and there’s plenty of data. Not coming back to this for a while.
