Raftr – Get Current Reviews

Was kind of worried about downloading this after my friend told me about it, but I’m really glad I did! I thought it was just going to be another social media account I would have to stress about, but the events calendar is actually super helpful and has helped me be less stressed. I really like that you can comment and connect with classmates without there being competition to post a perfect picture or get a bunch of likes.

this app offers a lot of different ways to stay connected on campus, and the more time I’ve spent using Raftr , the more cool features I’ve found! Seems like there were some early stability issues but with recent updates, the experience has really improved. Excited to keep using this app and hopefully they’ll bring more students on to make the experience even more useful and fun.

Been trying this out for a few months now and am really liking it. There's no other app out there where I can check current events, stay up on politics and still look at cute animals. My favorite part is being able to talk to other sports fans about my favorite teams and reading latest updates and stories. Totally check Raftr out! 👍

I've been using Raftr for a few months. It's easy to navigate and post on. Some fun and thoughtful communities are starting to form. The authentication features should keep the trolls and haters away which is a huge welcome. Fav rafts so far: GOT, Pawndering Purrfection & GS Warriors. Give it a chance!

Love Raftr - it's been a great way to find communities around some of my favorite things like pets and traveling, as well as being my new favorite way to get current about the sports teams I follow and current events in general.

One advantage of Raftr is that’s it’s so versatile. I can connect with other students on my campus, find free food spots, and stay updated on campus events and happenings. Great app to feel more connected to your institution and meet new people!

I am SO tired of all the different apps I have to use to keep track of things. Calendars, GroupMe, Facebook Groups, etc. I can't wait for more people on my campus to start using this app so everything will be in one place.

I’m loving Raftr and concept. It’s super easy to navigate. I find it to be a good way for people to follow conversations/news about topics they’re interested in, without clutter or ads!

There’s still a lot to improve, but they respond quickly. Like when I had trouble managing my notifications, they take the time to help me.

Super fast account creation, easy navigation, and I swear every event on my campus is here. Like every single one. Love this app!

I still like my Facebook and Twitter, but this really is a great way to have a conversation about one topic with a bunch of other people who are focused on one topic, and not have it veer into other stuff. And if I want to switch away from shaking my head at the President's latest tweet and start talking about Real Housewives, I can do that with a couple of phone screen touches and interact with a different crowd on that silly subject. Now I just need more time in day. :-)

Tried to create an account. Just keeps saying “oops there was an error”. My error was believing that Raftr was anything more than more startup trash.

The notification system is horrible. I’m really not a fan but our university forces RA’s to use Raftr.

I love Raftr! It allows me to follow the stories that matter to me. There's an engaged and growing community here, and the discussions are really fun and thoughtful. Plus, this app is a terrific place for me to talk about politics or my favorite TV show, and I don't have to worry about getting unfriended for my views!

Especially when creating an account, some buttons are not read with voiceover and some text is not read either. You can do it, it's just a little bit of a hit and miss button press. It would also be nice for the two finger scrub gesture to work to go back. Rather than having to flip up to the top of the screen and press a button labeled back 1 or something similar along with adding new content, please remember your blind users by labeling the buttons and adding VoiceOver support

Storywraps is the only place I'm going to go from now on to find the latest content on my favorite stories and celebrities! So nice to have everything in one place and I can't wait to get more of my friends to participate and react

I understand that social networking apps are only as useful as the people were using them, but I don't think there's enough in Raftr for many people to want to use it. It will be interesting to see how this goes over the next year, but after using it for five minutes I don't see myself using it again for a long time.
