I was extremely excited to use DuckTheLine when I went to Paris. I planned on using it for Versailles and when I arrived at the location, DuckTheLine showed me that there was an available line for Versailles and easily prompted me to join the line. HOWEVER, when DuckTheLine told me it was my turn in line, I went to the front of the line at the gate it told me to meet at. The employees told me that they are unable to scan QR codes and told me I was out of luck and couldn’t use it. Being an American who doesn’t speak French, I went in search for more information from somebody from the information desk who spoke better English. Every employee I asked told me they don’t accept QR codes and that I couldn’t use it. I wasted 30 minutes trying to “skip the line” when I could’ve just waited in the line instead of wasting my time and energy. I also used up some of my points for something that didn’t work and was unable to get my points for claiming my spot in line. I ended up having to wait over 2 hours in line because I didn’t buy the timed entry due to thinking I would get in easily with DuckTheLine. DuckTheLine is a scam and doesn’t work at all of the locations it promises. Very unreliable!!

So notre dame wants you to download this AP to get in line. There are no signs around, no one to tell you that you need to do this, and no way to cancel one you have a time. I assume this causes a lot of people not to get in. This might be the stupidest way to do crowd control, and the cathedral should rethink their partnership.

I requested Timeslots for lines in Versailles, but when I asked around nobody knew how to use DuckTheLine . Everyone said that I still have to wait in the long line. So DuckTheLine with useless in Versailles.

We were really excited to when we found DuckTheLine because we wanted to take an evening tour of Notre Dame in Paris. Unfortunately one can’t get in line unless in the city. The line opens early in the morning and it turns out it fills quickly. When we arrived in the afternoon, no more room on line.... We got up early the next day to get on line, but then the latest time was 5 pm. Where did the evening tours go? Anyway, nice idea to not have to wait in line, I guess. Better for the venue. Wish it was designed with the tourist in mind though. Doesn’t seem that way at all.

Was able to load a time for Notre Dame but, now that we’ve done that, can’t figure out how to search/add another attraction. Would like to add Arc du Triumphe, but no idea how to do so. Also, if my phone gets below 50% get a message saying Bluetooth not supported below 50%. Lastly, even when over 50% get a message saying “turn Bluetooth on” (it is) so I have to turn it off, then back on, then allows me to continue.

We used DuckTheLine to go up the towers at Notre Dame. Logged in when times were available at 7:30am and had a great choice despite being high tourist season. Easy to use.

Worked like a charm for the Notre Dame visit. After being told no tickets remained, we used DuckTheLine and it found us a spot after twenty minutes.

Works great to get timed access to the towers of Notre Dame! (does not work for skipping the lines to access the main cathedral, but those lines move quickly anyway). I used it from St Germain des Pres, picked a time, and told it how many people in my party. It confirmed my reservation and I could check it later to see how much time before I needed to be at Notre Dame. It sends you alerts when your scheduled time is nearing (15, 10 minutes out) and when it is your scheduled time, you just open DuckTheLine and show a QR code to the person managing the line - note this is on the left side of the cathedral when you are facing the main entrance. They let you up a bunch of steps to a gift area where you purchase your actual ticket to access the tower. Much easier than I expected it to be, and I recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled tour time so you can locate the proper person to let you in.

1. DuckTheLine said the next entry was 1.5 hours. I believe you HAVE to use DuckTheLine to go to the top.
2. I selected that time and DuckTheLine told me I’d be notified.
3. We showed up 20 minutes before our time. There was a big line in the south tower. This was just to go inside the church - which is free.
4. There was no indication where to go, but the security guard at the exit told me to go around to the side (north side) and there was a little line of about 10 people there.
5. We got in line and a lady said we had to wait until next round (since 20 mins early), but then a guy said we could go anyway.
6. We climbed up the stairs to a gift shop. We bought our tickets there.
7. Then you show your ticket to a lady near the entrance to the gift shop and you return to the same stairs and keep going up. It was easy peasy (I wish the climb had been as easy as DuckTheLine ). We came in April.

Used this today (September 2018) and it worked exactly liked it said it would. At 7:30 am I requested an 11:00 time. Went to the line around the corner from the left bell tower (if facing Notre Dame). There is a roped off line. You show this to the attendant and they allow you into the sectioned off line. DuckTheLine will help you avoid using the kiosk and missing out on a desired time. We waited about 5 minutes once we got into the cordoned off area. The usher was very polite and the QR code worked perfectly. It had notified me when my time was due so my wife and I had time to grab a coffee across the street with no stress. At your appointed time you will be led up a staircase to a gift shop where you purchase your tickets to go up the bell tower, which is well worth the time. Can’t imagine visiting Norte Dame without seeing the bells and the amazing views. Highly recommend DuckTheLine. If there were kinks in DuckTheLine , Notre Dame must have figured them out and fixed them. Worked very well.

Walked right into the line at the appointed time

Used for Notre Dame - it was a much better system than they have in place for many attractions. I wish this was used by more sites!

I used DuckTheLine as soon as we arrived at the cathedral on a busy Saturday. By the time we finished touring the inside of the church we were able to go right up into the bell tower.

Is there a list of other locations that use DuckTheLine? We had a great experience with it at Notre Dame. So glad we just recently went.

Loved using DuckTheLine. I didn’t get an alert at 20 min like I read some people did, but I checked it constantly and arrived on time. Got lunch instead of standing in line = awesome!
