I purchased the Level Mate Pro in the spring of 2019. Set it up per the instructions and was very happy using it all of 2019. Went to level the trailer for Memorial Day weekend 2020 and LevelMatePRO forced me to accept an update or it wouldn’t allow me to level my trailer. Auto-update is set to “off” on my phone so not sure how it updated? Anyways, I agreed to the new terms so I could level my trailer, and LevelMatePRO now requires gps location or it won’t show the level status. It worked great all of 2019 without tracking my location. There is NO NEED to know user location - you WANT our location for your benefit, not to benefit the user. There is no feature that justifies forcibly tracking my location so I can level my trailer, especially with hardware you sold me to do only that. It still works great, now it’s just another data mining app like all the others. Not cool developers, not cool. One star for greed. I’ve recommended this to many people in the past year because it leveled my trailer quickly and accurately. It still does that, only if you consent to providing your location. There are plenty of consumers that are ok with giving out information to apps. I’ll sell mine and look for another leveling solution.

I was really looking forward to receiving this unit,but it has been profoundly disappointing trying to set it up. The only level it shows is the battery level. I get stuck on some grey page that offers no help. It says to click here for a manual...nothing. I have an I-phone XR,I parked in a level spot and it shows that I’m 20” off. It’s probably me,but it shouldn’t have to be so difficult to set up. I’m really frustrated.

Don’t waste your time or your money. I have had this garbage for the better part of a year. Had it installed by RV dealer and set up by them. They walked me thru it no problem. That was the ONLY time that it worked! No matter how many batteries I change it won’t connect. There is also NO menu to trouble shoot any connectivity issues.
Save yourself a whole lot of aggravation and just get a level.

Could not even use one time, followed all the directions, then followed all the troubleshooting I could find on google, and could not get it to connect on Bluetooth with ANY device. It connected twice, let me register my name and email, then every time I hit next it disconnected and said could not find device. Really frustrated I purchased this!

I have had this product for a little over a year now. With the original version (1) of software, LevelMatePRO and hardware worked as designed. It was great, a one man job was created for leveling of my travel trailer that is 35 feet long. The leveling process was about 15 minutes using the Anderson leveling ramps.
Then the update to version 2. Bluetooth signal strength is non existent in the drivers seat of my truck. I change the battery in the LevelMate unit, and tried again. Could not get past the driver seat signal test. If there is a way to back to version 1, I highly recommend this.
If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

The range is atrocious for my unit. I’ve seen the unit installed pretty far away on several trailers with no apparent issues. Mine is on the front of the trailer, just inside the front storage bin, and I can’t get more than 5 feet away and it connect.

LevelMatePRO gives no feedback regarding the status of the connection, so if it’s lost, you’ll never know until you love your trailer and realize that LevelMatePRO isn’t updating.

There’s no option to request feedback from the developer in LevelMatePRO either. If these items are fixed, I’ll update the review. If not, I’ll be sending my unit back for a refund in the next week or so. I’m really bummed, as this was going to allow me to use the Anderson levelers from my truck.

Help!!!

Still need help. I can leave my unit in sight and walk about 10 feet away and I lose connection. I’m so disappointed with my purchase. It works great if I stand next to it, but so does a physical level!!!

This product would be the bomb if it worked. I bought this product with the Andersen leveling blocks over the winter. The combination of these two products should make leveling a trailer a one-person, one-step process. Last weekend, we took our first trip of the season. The Andersen blocks are wonderful...highly recommended. The set-up for the this app app was very easy and the install of the hardware was very easy. I even installed the unit in the front of the trailer for best connection, as recommended. Unfortunately, from the driver's seat of the pickup, I could not get a reliable connection. This is sad because it is not a far distance at all. It would connect and give me a reading. I would then adjust the trailer. I would then have to shut down LevelMatePRO and restart. After a minute or two, I could read the settings and make another adjustment of the trailer. Shut-down LevelMatePRO , restart, wait, repeat. Over and over again. Not what I paid $140 for. I really hope it's a simple app upgrade or they need to work out the bugs. I am running LevelMatePRO on an iPhone 7. Sadly, I think this was just an expensive lesson for me.

First off, the leveling part works great and can get setup quickly and have been pleased with the device. My disappointment is when the ability to have on the Apple Watch came out I had to purchase LevelMatePRO at a ridiculously high price. I paid for it for the ability to view the level of the trailer from my watch versus my phone. Ends up you have to have LevelMatePRO running on the phone at the same time which defeats the purpose of having it on your watch for convenience.
This worked well for a while but now the watch app constantly says “this app app closed”. It’s not seeing the opened app on my phone that I’m holding in my hand with LevelMatePRO clearly open. Watch app is NOT working for me.

When I first got my rv it worked spot on now that they updated it with more options it is unreliable I set it from scratch but it never reads correctly I’ll get set up and set it to level but check it later and it varies telling me I have to raise the tongue as much as 6 inches Then check it later says I need to lower the tongue so I’d say it is unreliable

Please fix this the update made it where it will not go pass the first step in the setup. The new update is now fixed thank u

The thing we most commonly encounter is that we forget to turn off the this app device. Once level, a reminder to turn it off would make LevelMatePRO substantially better in my view.

I have the transmitter located about 25 feet from where I sit in the driver seat and every time I pull into a campground and open LevelMatePRO it can’t make the connection I have to go out and remove and reinstall the battery, hear the 2 beep and then I can level my motorhome, as I’m sitting here writing this review it can’t make the connection.

I love the product but the weak Bluetooth makes it much less useful than it could. We have a 23’ trailer and a F150 and the signal will not reach the cab. I have to have my wife stand by the trailer and signal me when we are level. Other Bluetooth products have no issues. This really needs to be addressed. I considered returning the product because of this issue.

Wow wish I read the reviews before the on app purchase. My phone will connect to my device but if I try to use the watch app. I get connection failures. And yes my phone is connected at the time. Need to see if o can get a refund. This was an epic fail.

I received the unit last week and had no problem setting it up. New software just released and I can’t get past step 1 of 6 even though it shows connected.

So, I have been using LevelMatePRO for years now and found it pretty decent. It gets the job done.

Today, I was prompted to buy the $15 upgrade to use on Apple Watch. I gasped at that price! The this app isn’t cheap to purchase to begin with and $15 to use on your watch?!?! Ouch. C’mon.. $5 is reasonable. $15 is a bit of a gouge in my opinion.

Easy to install and setup. Takes all the guess work out of getting your rig level. Also like the hitch height recall. Just can’t say enough good about it. Great product and I would recommend it to anyone.

I’m not really sure what’s up with all the negative reviews. I’ve been using the LevelMate Pro+ for over a year, and it works fantastic. I’ve never had connection problems, set-up was super easy and I’ve found it to be indispensable. I think one feature I appreciate the most is that I don’t have to guess how much lift one side needs. It’s all right there in LevelMatePRO . I guess try it out and see if it works for you. Maybe the negative reviews might have some user error involved ?

Leveling my camper couldn’t be easier using LevelMatePRO and the device. I do forget to turn off the unit sometimes resulting in a dead battery, so maybe an auto off after 10 minutes in future devices would be a good idea.

Now, if only we could get a CarPlay app. I know the backup camera would override the screen, but a lot of times I actually pull forward to level, not back up. That would solve the problem of juggling my phone while trying to get everything just right…

Set-up as directed by included instructions, connected fine (had to close app on one device to connect to another device), works great!

Doesn’t work too well with I Phone 6s too well. Hard to wake, have to run magnet across module almost every time, then it will freeze up while trying to level up.

iPhone X has been out for almost 1.5 years now. Time to update your app. 🙄

This is a great concept, but it doesn’t work well with an IPhone 6. I’m very disappointed.

I should have done what I always do and review the reviews. I have only successfully got a reading once. Ever since then, it won’t even connect sitting right next to my phone. Haven’t even made the maiden voyage yet!!! I thought this would help a rookie RV’er like myself out but it’s nothing but a crash fest with LevelMatePRO . Deleted and reinstalled and it still has issues. Not recommended

It would be a pretty cool app...except it crashes EVERY TIME I use it. iPhone 6s Plus.
