I had hoped this would offer a fast way to replenish funds. After paying for the additional features, it didn't give much information at all. And, when adding finds, IPassIllinois adds $.99 to your total. That makes no sense when there's no value added. Better off just going to the website.

IPassIllinois seems simple enough to emulate the webpage, an attempt to charge for information that should be provided for free seems dishonest (even if a private company created IPassIllinois ). Unless you feel the need to give more money away to an already expensive toll system, there is no advantage to have IPassIllinois...you can check everything for free on your computer.

Why would an app be designed that forces you back to a website in order to change auto replenish? Third party charges for adding funds. This is a useless app.

IPassIllinois charges to replenish your account. It’s free on the iPass website. Don’t fall for this scam. Nothing convenient about it.

Everything we purchase these days gives us an online and usually an app option to make payments. This is the only one I know of that charges a dollar "processing" fee for a service that should be free and open to all because that's the right thing to do. Especially when the money we're putting in goes directly to IL tolls. Then on top of your EVERY TIME YOU ADD MONEY processing fee, if you want to say check which card you have on file, or check which cars you have connected to your iPass, it says "in-app purchase required".

If the people who made IPassIllinois are getting this money (they did the work creating it - understandable that they should be compensated), it should come from IL tolls. If the IL toll roads get this money on top of what we already pay while driving their roads... We've elected the wrong people. Unfortunately, I think it's the latter.

Wish I could give IPassIllinois negative stars.

I can’t make an account on their website I put it all my info and then press the “continue” button and just deleted half my info. So I tried IPassIllinois to maybe make the account through IPassIllinois but took me to the same website to make an account.

So, explain me please, how can I pay stupid tolls??????? Once you update your website it’s become impossible, only paybyplate, and that would maybe fine, if it would be able to setup! It’s impossible!!!!!!!!!! Make your previous website come back again. Your developers is bad guys. Because of them I’m just receiving invoices all the time instead of normal paying tolls on time

OMG, take my money. I’m trying to give it to you. Your stupid site won’t even let me create a freaking account. I’d love to pay you if I could. This beyond ridiculous in this day and age. Fire your entire team and find some people who know what they are doing so they can develop an app and a website that is actually usable.

App doesn’t remember password with I phone 12 and every time I try to log in it locks the account for 30 min I have to keep calling customer service to change password. So frustrating. IPassIllinois used to work great but past week it it totally terrible!!

Since IPassIllinois was updated, I can’t use my American Express card as a form of payment to add funds. I tried 2 different cards and selected American Express for the card type. Why the change? And if you no longer accept Amex, then remove the option.

I have an iPhone and with IPassIllinois if you have trouble logging in you can't reach the "trouble logging in" link because the keyboard is in the way and it doesn't allow you to minimize it to get to the button. And you can't click it when IPassIllinois first opens only after a failed attempt at which point your keyboard is open and your out of luck!

IPassIllinois is old and looks like it hasn’t been visually or technologically enhanced in a long time.

Also, there needs to be an option to remove a credit card.

And the minimum for automatic reload being $10 doesn’t really make sense.

Why can't I remove old expired transponders?
I don't need to see them any more, why don't we only see current transponders?
Also would be nice to view by Car rather than transponder to figure out which is which. Instead you have to figure out which car you drove on what day and time to figure it out.

If IPassIllinois would allow you to scan or even enter in an Ipass gift card, it would be so much better. It only allows you to put in your credit card info. It would also be nice if it kept me logged in so I can instantly open and see my info.

Works fine with my Iphone 12.

Because I have six cars it would be nice to give nicknames to each license plate.

Also it would be nice to allow push notifications when any of the cars go through a toll.

It appears when I log in there is a glitch. A bunch computer programming on the left. No record of vehicle or trans ponder

IPassIllinois finally feels modern and takes advantage of the iPhone X’s full display. Nice job developers :)

IPassIllinois makes accessing my account t easy and you can add funds to your account from within it which is nice.

This is, in my opinion, the most underrated app on here. It’s so easy to use. Yes it does have a .99 cent fee for when you reload but I rather pay an extra .99 cents and reload in 2seconds then to have a fee for when I forget about reloading and having to deal with online BS. Love love love IPassIllinois. I advise everyone to get it.

Paying the extra $1.99 is so worth it! Way more convenient then going on the website. Best purchase I've made!

You can’t log in with a iPhone at all

When trying to add a rent vehicle you can’t be sure enough .

Does not do anything you can’t do on the iPass website. Charges $.95 to make a payment which iPass does not

Does nothing when you enter login info.

This could possibly be malware, who knows...as it doesn’t work.

IPassIllinois charges a .99 cent transaction fee. If you go through their website, on your phone, their is no fee. IPassIllinois is no different but than their website as far as function.

Use mobile site. App doesn't work

IPassIllinois truly lives up to the expectations of being state related. A processing fee? (imagine that in Illinois... another ******* fee!) I was glad to see an app finally, opened it, and was more disappointed than before. If you aren’t going to do it right, DON’T DO IT ALL! Save yourself the time and skip right in by this junk!

Worked beautifully the first time, then each time I wanted to access IPassIllinois thereafter I had to delete and redownload to get it to open. Hope this can be fixed soon or I will just permanently delete.

If you use it to replenish funds, there is a charge, which you don’t get at the website!

It doesn’t need to do too much, but it does the things I want it to do. Lots of reviews about extra fees but I just use auto replenish set up on the website so I don’t need to ever manually make payments.
I’d give an extra star for each of these:
1. Name transponders
2. Name vehicles

I manage a number of transponders for my family so it’d be nice to be able to name things so I knew what was what.

For some reason app stopped logging in...

Just need to have options to change transponder name.

IPass Illinois charged me 1.48 amd automatically took it from my Chase account. I never used iPass in May at all or drove through tolls. Cancel iPass. A sham. Do not sell or share or replicate my info to any other third parties or charge fees.
