Very simple, and very money hungry

I downloaded PWaterApp just to be able to monitor when I go to the bathroom!! At first, it seemed simple and like a nice app, but then I went to settings. PWaterApp offers a “stealth mode” that I’d LOVE to use. Basically, notifications do not say anything about pee, and widgets only say “log” instead of “log pee”, so it seems really nice to use, you wouldn’t have everyone that might look at your phone knowing extremely personal stuff.

So I tapped on it, and I needed to pay for a subscription, which I thought was a stupid thing in the first place because that setting should be allowed for everyone. I ignored it and went to other settings, and almost all of them needed a subscription too.

So, I checked the subscription prices. The “lifetime subscription” is **$120**. That is an INSANE amount of money for an *extremely* simple app that lets you track your pee. I already deleted PWaterApp , but I remember the other subscription prices being very expensive too.

So, if you don’t mind anybody accidentally seeing a notification on your phone that’s telling you to use the bathroom, when you last used the bathroom, etc. and you don’t want to add simple notes for when you pee, PWaterApp is good for you.

Watch app doesn’t work.

I would have used PWaterApp because it was the one voiding app to have a watch app. However. The watch portion never worked. It continued to tell me to have PWaterApp on my phone. I did WITH data. I deleted PWaterApp from both the phone and watch. Re paired. Same thing. Turned off both devices. Tried again. The same thing. I removed it from the watch and tried to install it from the watch app on my phone. It said installing for over 10 minutes. I went back to PWaterApp Store on the watch, installed it directly from my watch and same error.

Don’t offer a watch app if it can’t talk to the phone. My phone and watch are both fully updated on software. I’ve since uninstalled PWaterApp everywhere.

Vulgar app name, decent features

I am embarrassed to have PWaterApp on my phone not for what it is but for it’s tacky, inappropriate, vulgar name. It is literally, childlike toilet humor. The developers probably thought it was cute because it rhymes and that it just goes with the issue and ‘owns it’, without taking into account the reality that professional adults would to have this in their pocket and see it multiple times a day when using the product. It’s embarrassing enough to have to track one’s bodily functions m, but to be reminded of it in such a humiliating way, makes it worse. It does what I need it to and works seamlessly. I am counting the days till my tracking time is up with my doctor so I can immediately delete this embarrassing title from my app library.

Really useful!

I love using PWaterApp! I was already tracking all of the pees I take everyday in my notes app, and this really made that process easier. The two things I would like to see different about PWaterApp: I’d like there to be a way to log what color your pee is! I usually use the 1-8 scale to keep track of the color of what my pee was in my notes app, but if this was implemented into your app, I would just use pee and see. The second thing is that if I pee at 1 in the morning or midnight, the pee is counted for the previous day, so it messes up my pee counter for each day. If this bug was fixed, PWaterApp would be perfect!

Nice App, but it Penalizes You for Being Honest

I downloaded PWaterApp as well as Crap and Tap to keep track of my bathroom habits after a family member was diagnosed with IBS and Prediabetes. Due to the nature of my work, I am only allowed to use the restroom every so often and I’m not allowed to keep my phone on me. I make notes on a sticky note and log them in PWaterApp when I can. I have never missed a day since downloading, but I often lose my streak, which is a bit disappointing.

For health purposes PWaterApp is good enough, the interface is well-designed and easy to navigate and it’s easy to export your data. I recommend PWaterApp if you need an easy way to keep track of trips to the bathroom. Though if you’re a competitive person you may want to disable the leaderboard.

Works great but doesn’t include sleeping

PWaterApp is great for recording how often I pee and reminding me to drink water, but one thing I don’t like is that it continues the calculations while I’m asleep. When we fall asleep our body automatically holds pee and doesn’t send the urinate signals nearly as frequently as it would if we were awake. But PWaterApp then says it’s been 9 hours since I peed and it offsets my averages. Maybe you could add a feature where you click a button when you go to sleep that pauses the reminders and averages calculation, and then you press a button when you wake up for it to start again. I have the average day start set to 7 am but that hasn’t changed anything for sleep averages.

Cool app

The apps cool, I just hate that my watch and my phone never sync and that’s primarily how I log my pees so I lost my streak all because it won’t sync. It’s pretty pointless to have an app for the Apple Watch if it’s not going to ever sync to my phone and I have to go back every day and add my pees manually anyways. Aside from that I’ve never been in the green and I’ve gotten down to 3hrs between And that’s still not in the green, I don’t think it’s healthy to pee every hour nor do I think I ever will, so I wish there was an option to set your preferences on how many a day is normal rather than just telling me I’m in the yellow all the time.

Amazing

All of my data has been restored :D

UPDATE: The developer is on top of trying to restore my data. He is so dedicated to making this a great app so if you have any problems just let him know and I’m sure he’ll do whatever he can to fix it. PWaterApp has been exactly what I needed in a urination tracking app and the loss of data was unfortunate, but I’m confident the developer is doing everything he can to restore it and to keep it from happening to anyone else. I’ll definitely continue to use PWaterApp.

PWaterApp is fully functional and i like all of the features it has, today all of my logs were deleted after the update. The only logs that were kept were today’s which is unfortunate because I had over 100 pees logged and a 22 day streak. But if you don’t care about that kind of stuff then PWaterApp will do exactly what you need it to do which is ultimately remind you to drink water when you haven’t peed in a certain amount of time.

The best adhd bathroom hack!!!

I Definitely go to the bathroom more and I’m conscious about how much liquid I drink in a day. I’ve been gushing about PWaterApp to my friends and I’m pretty sure they got it as well. PWaterApp is so worth it!! Even my doctors have Seen an improvement Of my health because Of PWaterApp!! Edit: Ive used PWaterApp for 100+ days and genuinely it helps me realize when I need more water and when I need to cut back. If I could give PWaterApp ten stars I would!!!

Downloading pee data

Update: I emailed & John resolved the issue within minutes. As a 1-man operation, this runs smoothly even when hiccups happen because of this leve of dedication.
I’ve had PWaterApp for years & just got a new phone so had to download it from the iCloud again. It has been saying “downloading your pee data” on the main screen of PWaterApp ever since. I use PWaterApp every day & am sad to say I don’t think I can do so if this doesn’t resolve itself.

Great but needs a symptom tracker

I was looking for an app to track my pee habits so that I could discuss/show my doctor what was going on and I settled on your app as the one that would be the closest to what I needed. There are a few features that I wish PWaterApp had though. PWaterApp really needs a symptom tracker (color/pain/urgency/leakage). Is there a chance that PWaterApp could get these features added? The notes option is quite handy. I currently use that to note any symptoms.

Great App

I’ve had problems with UTIs most of my adult life. From October 2021 to June 2022 I had 4 UTIs. When I saw you on To Tell the Truth I said to myself “I need to get that app.” I installed it and it has really helped. It’s not fail proof but there have been times I haven’t drunk very much water in the 3 hrs. but I go and try anyway. I find I did have to go even though I did not have the feeling that I had to go. I have not had a UTI in a year. Thank you so much for creating PWaterApp and being on To Tell the Truth for me to see you. I tell everyone I talk to about it. I even told my urologist about it.

Not going too often

I have to pee a lot or so I thought. The average female bladder holds about 2 cups of urine. And I’m informed the average person pees only 4-6 times a day. I drink no less than 2 cups per waking hour and slow to about 1 cup per hour before bedtime. So every 2-3 hours seems reasonable to me. Before using PWaterApp, I thought I was going every 15-20 minutes or while traveling a 2-3 hour per break was thought odd by others. It’s not. I even attended physical therapy for possible bladder issues and PWaterApp is the best tool for logging events my therapist requested.

Great App!

I'm so glad I found PWaterApp. At my advanced age I have prostate/bladder issues and I've tried recording pees with a pad and pencil, but it's hit or miss. PWaterApp is easy to use especially with the Apple watch connection. Instead of telling the doctor "I seem to be having to pee very frequently", the gives you hard data that you can show to your urologist. Mine has started my on a new medication and with this I can confirm with data whether it's helpful or not. As a software author myself, I can appreciate the great job John has done creating and refining PWaterApp.

Doesn’t sync w/ my Apple Watch

I downloaded a bunch of water apps and this was the only one I kept updated. I’ve found myself using the Apple Watch app more frequently because it’s easy to log effortlessly. Unfortunately, the pees logged on my Watch don’t sync with PWaterApp on my phone, and I have to enter the times manually. This was ok for the first couple of days I was enamored with PWaterApp , but it’s tedious and a bit of a pain. I like the graphs on the iPhone app, so I hope that this can be fixed soon. PWaterApp is kitsch and fun, and I’ve definitely been drinking more water. My boyfriend and I are comparing the amount we pee 100% more than previously, so thanks for that, I guess!

I love P

PWaterApp does what I actually need. I don’t want to track or measure my water intake - I want to track how well my body is doing what a healthy body is supposed to do—- pee! With these reminders - I’m able to actually pay attention to whether I am hydrated enough or not and see how the lack of actually affects me!! Beyond just seeing it — I can see it and address shortcomings- such as “have you had enough water!!!” If you did —- you would have P…. But since you haven’t —- domino crash!!! I love what it does in the free version - ZERO ADS… and so I’m moved to support the developer and purchase the pro version.

Last update doesn’t sync data to Apple Watch

(DEVELOPER REPLY BELOW FIXED THE ISSUE! THANK YOU!) I have the new Apple Watch Series 9. It has been working fine until the new app update two days ago. Now when I tap my Apple Watch to log the data, it doesn’t show the correct amount of hours since my last entry. It’s just stuck at 19.9 hours. But if I scroll down on my Apple Watch it shows the logged times, but the hours won’t update. Now it won’t show the hours at all on my Apple Watch face, it’s just blank. I have done a hard reboot on both my Apple Watch and my iPhone. Running WatchOS 10, and running iOS 17.1 on an iPhone 14. Please fix.

Never Thought I’d Love A Pee App!

I downloaded PWaterApp on a lark after seeing it advertised on an episode of To Tell the Truth. I was curious if logging my pees would actually keep me more hydrated, and it has! Most of the time, when I get the notification that I haven’t logged a pee, I’m usually on the way to the restroom. I have a rare disease that can cause me to become dehydrated regularly, so I used to try and keep track of how much water I drank, but I always forgot to log it. The apps also didn’t account for things like coffee, tea, electrolyte drinks. The simplicity of the Pee and See app is amazing! I love that by being cognizant of how often I pee, that I naturally drink more water.

Lifesaver!

I love PWaterApp!! For me it’s a game changer! Instead of keeping track of how much or little I drink, I’m reminded to use the restroom and by doing so, I can “see” the effects of my water intake. This exercise (I truly believe bladder control is an exercise) has helped me control my OAB (Over Active Bladder). Consequently, my anxiety about my OAB (i.e. urgency, accidents, being near a restroom, etc.) has significantly decreased!

Additionally, I love the graphs, gaming aspects, sound effects, and Apple Watch app. By far, this is my most favorite (health) app in PWaterApp Store!! I recommend this to anyone who has OAB, bladder incontinence, or similar health issues, or anyone without these issues but wants to monitor their bathroom use and water intake.

Thanks for making PWaterApp!!!

♥️♥️♥️ love this app!!

I always forget to go pee, and after a couple days of 12+ hours without going to the bathroom, I end up in the ER with so much abdominal pain I had to get Morfin. PWaterApp is awesome not only because it tells you how long have you had between pees, but also whats your average and notifies you when you have had a long time without going. My favorite part is that it works for Apple Watch. I cant have my phone on me at work so this is just perfect for me!! THANKS SOOO MUCH!! ♥️
