Whoohoo!!

I purchased CloudBeats last year, and man was I frustrated with it? I had my google drive hooked to CloudBeats , but whenever I played an audiobook through CloudBeats, it kept randomly stopping and I had to delete whatever I was listening to from my google drive and reupload. It was so frustrating I immediately regretted buying CloudBeats. I wrote to them and they were pretty responsive and helped me out. But it didn’t fix the issue and it had stayed on like that for months. But lo and behold, this last version has finally fixed it and thus my review! I love CloudBeats so much. I have a zbigz account and I download lots of audio books, which it lets me send to my drive in seconds! And with CloudBeats I don’t have to download anything myself, I just stream it! So yes, CloudBeats is a gold mine!! I hope it stays the same.

The Best Cloud Audio Player

I use CloudBeats every single day and I love it. I have all my audiobooks uploaded to my cloud accounts (Dropbox, box, etc) and I can pull them down for offline listening so I don’t eat up my data on-the-go. CloudBeats does a great job of keeping track where I am in the audiobook so I can pick right up where I left off. I can easily skip back or forward in customizable seconds of increments if I get distracted and missed hearing something. Just overall a great listening and usability experience.
I highly recommend CloudBeats!

When it works

CloudBeats is gold, when it works. Best app out for streaming audio books from cloud storage. I’ve had issues with playing longggggg mp3 files 20-40hr long. Issues with files randomly starting over or when changing tracks getting stuck in a repeating loop. These are very annoying issues that I hope can be fixed soon.

Great for audio studying

I study Spanish and medicine through audio lessons and this application is ideal. It allows you to slow down and speed up the playback, place bookmarks and sync with popular clouds such as dropbox. The only feature that I would like added is the ability to leave notes attached to bookmarks.

Bug with iOS 13

I’ll start by saying this is the best audiobook player I’ve found for iOS. Especially that you can stream directly from cloud storage. I would like to see Dark Mode supported in iOS 13, and I’ve found a bug. When my iPad is in landscape orientation, the screen is blank. When I rotate the screen to portrait, CloudBeats work fine.

Best app for streaming music off Dropbox

I have been using this for several years and it’s the best for playing my mp3s off Dropbox. It has all the functionality I want, allowing me to either stream or download music. I like the interface too.

Awesome App!

You will LOVE CloudBeats! I have purchased at 5-10 apps like this one and it’s the BEST AVAILABLE!

I would give it a 5-star rating, but I want a few features that would put it over the top: The ability to take notes while listening.

Struggling

I love the idea of this but for how much I paid I am eternally frustrated with CloudBeats. It constantly freezes up. I’ll click on a book to play and it will load something completely different. It will randomly skip to another track in the middle of listening to a book. It will also just stop playing for no reason. I’m sick of it and I’ve had it too long to get a refund.

This is the one!

This is what iBooks should have been. Working great. Also, developer was immediately responsive to an issue I had and showed me an easy fix. I recommend highly. I have 10 other audiobook player apps but this one works the best.

Absolutely Great

I reported a bug for google drive and it was fixed almost immediately. Absolutely great. If you want to listen to audio files from google drive, speed them up/slow them down, buy CloudBeats .

Alright app, needa landscape mode

I have been using CloudBeats for around 2 years and it's pretty good but it needs a landscape mode! I cannot see the file titles of books in portrait which is super annoying. I contacted the dev about this more than a year back and received a reply that we will get to this soon. Still over a year later no landscape mode. Disappointing.

LOVE this App; iPhone X Support Missing!

This is a great app, one of my most used. No other Audiobook app connects to so many cloud services or offers more features-- it's truly in a class by itself!

Any plans to update for the iPhone X? Maybe add a ‘dark more’ too?

Thanks!

Unparalleled!!!

CloudBeats is amazing. And to speak to my title, it can’t be beat for features, ease of use, and flexibility. There isn’t an app around that can provide these features as well as this app. Fantastic work!!!!

Sounds tinny compared with same file and speed in cloudbeats music

Sounds tinny compared with same file and speed in this app music.
2.5 speed playback with “optimize for voice” on in this app music sounds a lot better. Shouldn’t there be a voice optimize on this, the audiobook version of CloudBeats ?

Good, almost great

Works well, I wish I could sort by release date as well considering large library.

Sketchy

Love the concept, but a few major issues ruin the usability of CloudBeats. First, my cloud account became locked due to "suspicious activity" after signing in from CloudBeats. Luckily I used a siloed account. Then, when I reset passwords and signed in again via CloudBeats it nuked my entire library that I had downloaded before. So much for that book I was reading...

Requesting accessibility feature. Can you please include basic Speech to text.

Awesome!

CloudBeats does exactly what I need. It's great to have options between streaming from the cloud or downloading to save data. Perfect.

Nextcloud is broken

Nextcloud integration has become broken - downloads get stuck/not finished/error codes, everything is super slow. Used to work well in the past. The official Nextcloud app is fast and reliable on the same server.

Last update broke it (pCloud)

Since the last update, can’t log into pCloud. Tried logging out and back in again (which deleted all my dowloaded audiobooks), uninstalling and reinstalling CloudBeats ... still won’t log in to pCloud. Which makes it useless for me since all my audiobooks are in pCloud.
